Equipment arrived with major issues:
System: Hush mini-ITX Extended Fanless PC, 512MB PC2100/DDR266, 2 x 160G Samsung SP1614N 8MB Cache 7200rpm, TEAC DV-W24E Slimline 4x +/-DVD Writer, MOBO EPIA M10000 1GHz, Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS.
Application: Ultra-low noise audio recording server.
1* Soundcard not hooked up. HDDs not configured correctly.
2* Took forever to open case with needle nose pliers because they use special screws.
3* Initial problems resolved after calls to tech support.
4* CD-ROM creates many sync errors when extracting audio with EAC. Other audio rippers fail to extract audio from CDROM--even after installation of 5-in-1 drivers; e.g., WAV extraction took > 8hrs per album--as opposed to less than 20 minutes on RA820G or Shuttle PCs.
5* Custom CDROM design prevents upgrade--i.e., designed like a laptop tray.
* This mini ITX extended is not really that quiet--compared to say the Sony RA820G. They don't provide a tool or ideas to verify the "low noise" claim.
* Case gets really hot--which really gets me concerned about long-term reliability. Manufacturer gives standard 1yr warranty.
* General waste of time--on top of which, they charge 15% restocking for a product that I spent >6 hrs trying to configure out of the box! Who pays for our time?

We deliver excellent service and were proud that our customers consistently rate themselves very satisfied on ResellerRatings. We take full responsibility for the problems encountered here. However, the customer is usually in the best position to evaluate whether the system is appropriate for his application. In this case, it appears that the application demanded more computing power than was ordered. We stand behind the Hush mini-ITX and believe the Hush systems (ITX, ATX, and Media Center Edition) are the best silent systems on the market today. |

I would have like to know that the bios for the motherboard did not allow for booting from a flash drive before purchasing, but Logic Supply provided the updated bios on its website for me to update it so I could boot from a flash drive. It was difficult getting there and I probably would have bought a different board in the first place had I been given the information up front, but enough tools were available for me to fix the problem.
Shipping was good and quick. The selection of Intel Atom boards, while skimpy, is the best that I have seen. Generally it was a okay experience. I'd buy from them again.

typical web retailer service. on the occasions i've called for pre-sales support i've usually gotten good answers depending on who received me.
on the downside- one of the items in my order was a morex power board. this is #4 i've had to replace out of about 10 ordered. the ones that failed within warranty were replaced with minimal hassle by logicsupply, but i feel emminant danger that each of my cases power boards are bound to fail.
while this is specifically a morex issue- logicsupply needs to take some stature on the brands they sell.

Fast shipping but the instuctions that come with the DIY kits are hard to understand. I purchased a CarPC that has the mp-atx psu and they didnt send me the instructions for that, i had to go to a different website that shows the diagram.

Product shipped on time. Product was exactly as shown on their website. They had the product when others were sold out. Will order from them again. This review was modified by its author, glelaing, on

The products are outstanding and Logic Supply ships quickly. The only complaints I have are the on-line RMA system which is slow and I have had to modify the 1RU cases to get the system boards to fit.

Snappy service! Unfortunately, the system I ordered (discrete components, assembled myself) turned out to have poor airflow through the case, and ran hot. I wish they could have alerted me of this prior to ordering.

Overall a good experience. The company is small enough that they can provide personalized, professional service from people who speak English-- they know their products, which helps when buying ITX parts.

Just like last time, the item was shipped quickly and arrived safely. Apparently, LS is the only one selling the Via C7 Phylon MBs, so I didn't have a whole lot of choices here, but they didn't let me down.
Pros: Quick and safe shipping, hard to find item
Cons: This particular motherboard came with no mounting hardware. Neither did the chassis I ordered (through another vendor). The daughterboard I also ordered also came with no mounting hardware. I'll have to hit Ace or something similar to get the mounting hardware.

Everything seemed in order except the packaging -- the Mini-ITX motherboard is packaged by the manufacturer in a tightly-fitting cardboard box (colored with the mfgr. logo). The shipping container was so closely sized to that of the Mini-ITX box that there was a vacuum that prevented one from extracting the empty Mini-ITX box from the shipping carton, if one had replaced the Mini-ITX box inside the shipping carton after removing the contents of the Mini-ITX box. To store the Mini's package inside the shipping package, I put a rock in it so I could get it out again! Needed some mass inside the inner carton to break the vacuum holding it in.
I've never seen that before. It was almost amusing.
In other words no displacement at all (no room for packing peanuts to fit) between the Mini-ITX box and the shipping container.
This was irritating to me and caused me to delay this review to verify the Mini-ITX board did not acquire damage in transit.
Everything received works fine, including the Mini-ITX board I natter on about (above). A small point of order:
the PSU I received requires a brick power supply with a
modern, alternative geometry for its plug -- the barrel
connector only matches very new AC-to-DC converters
such as those that ship with laptops. Fine, but no mention
was made of this on the vendor website and I would have
like to have known this in advance (I did not order a
brick supply from them and probably would have if
I had known this). However, to balance, I found the
technical details that were made available (generally)
to be reasonably complete in advance of purchase.
Certainly good enough to make an informed decision
by.
So I would say to them: Everything's good but your shipping carton size. Next time I want to see at least one inch of compressible space between the inside of the shipping carton, and the outside of any interior cartons (such as a Mini-ITX board's own packaging).
Will I do business with them again? I think so. I will, however, be keeping an eye out for a competitor who does it better (who wouldn't). If I placed an order with that competitor and they shipped in a spacious container, and that was the only difference, then this one would stand to lose me as a customer. OTOH this is a niche market and I have the suspicion I'm already at the top of the food chain with these guys. Plus I like that they're local to me (same region of US).

I originally purchased a VIA Epia MII6000 but found it wasn't fast enough for my purposes. I sent the board back to Logic Supply following their RMA instructions. Although they took over a week to process the RMA, they did eventually credit my account and I purchased a replacement board (the MII10000) which arrived the following week. Reliable and friendly if not the fastest.

I am not a happy camper. Purchased 2 1GB RAM modules for my HUSH computer purchased from this vendor. Paid at least 50% over best price to get good RAM for a premium computer. 1 module received defective. Returned, and received a second defective module. Last thing I expected at these prices. It will be a minimum of 2 months before I have my full purchase. The second RAM they sent me failed exactly the same STRIDE6 test as the first. It almost looks like they sent back the same defective module I returned.
To their credit, they have given serious attention to my problem. I have talked with one of their senior technical people and with a business development person who is clearly very concerned about making me a "happier camper." What it boils down to is that they are finding it hard to believe that both RAM modules could have been bad. Apparently it passed the RAM diagnostic they are using, which is not the same one I am using -- from Microsoft. Well, we are making progress. I am sure it will get sorted out eventually. They offered that I would return the computer and they would do complete diagnostic and send it back working perfectly. But who can live without their computer for a week? Not me. It just seems so obvious to me that it's faulty RAM. The saga continues. As I said, I am sure they will work it out eventually. This review was modified by its author, steverk, on
