I was a little nervous ordering from this store because of the abundance of grey market scams by camera shops online.
However, 42nd Photo has proven to be an excellent retailer. Elliot was considerate and helpful. Not pushy. The address and phone number were incorrect on the invoice so i sent an email and 2 hours later received a phone call correcting the errors.
Everything arrived quickly, and with all that was promised included (US Model/Warranty, Factory Sealed Box, Cleaning Kit) for a much lower price than competitors.
I also recieved a phone call today from Elliot, making sure that my package arrived properly and safely.

Very good service, bought the lens on Wednesday, order was shipped the same day and I received it on Thursday. I did indeed receive a call from their sales representative in about 3-4 hours after I placed my order but he was very polite and not pushy or anything.

Not the lowest price but ratings provided more comfort in conducting the transaction through 42nd street photo. Website ordering was straight forward. I did receive a call from the sales department asking if I was aware of the new memory card requirement since I did not order a card with the camera. I was aware but did not need the card. I was then told that my order would ship the same day. UPS tracking number and on time delivery. Product NIB and everything is good. I would buy from 42nd St. photo in the future. Plus they have PayPal as an option which I prefer.
The order was taken over the phone by a courteous gentleman who didn't try to hard sell me. The order was placed and I received the lens I ordered promptly. I would definitely use 42nd Street Photo in the future.

Great job!!!. I ordered a Nikon D5000 with SD card and a DVD on Saturday, got a call back on Tuesday (after Labor Day) and spoke to a very friendly and knowledgeable gent to 'upgrade' my SD card (a positive upgrade!). The Camera was delivered on Thursday to my house!!! Absolutely fantastic! Everything brand new and as expected!
