Zappos has some of the best customer service I have ever seen. I had problems with a pair of shoes. I sent them back and before they got them they issued me a refund plus gave me a $30 gift certificate to use with my next purchase. That is the best customer service I have ever seen. I will def. recommend them to other people.

Fantastic experiance. The shoes were extremly low price, and extrely high quality; something you usually don't expect. I thought for sure that shoes were outlet-type products, but they were perfect in every way. The pictures on the site did not mislead, and actually were entirely helpful in making my purchase decision.  
 
Shipping was free AND fast. I really cannot say enough good things about my experiance with Zappos. I hope to do business with them again, and continue to browse their site every so-often checking for anything that catches my eye.

I purchased a pair of shoes during a 'free shipping' special. The order got upgraded to next-day shipping for free, and I received the shoe on the following afternoon.  
 
The manufacturer's size turned out to be larger than what I wanted, so I returned the shoes. This involved printing out a UPS return label, slapping it on the original box and dropping it off at the nearest UPS pickup. Entirely hassle free, no additional expense incurred.  
 
The return was processed without hassle, and I have since reordered a smaller size shoe from Zappos.  
 
Overall, I am thoroughly impressed. Certainly one of the best online retailers I've had the pleasure of dealing with.

I bought a pair of hard to find addidas shoes. Not only was i incredibly pleased with the shoes, i was thrilled to see that my order was shipped next day! Excellent service, decent pricing, and ridiculously fast shipping.

Good shoe choices, quick delivery, and easy returns. Their prices are usually the best and this is the first place I look at shoes.

Great experience with this company. Ordered shoes on sale on Thurs. night with free standard shipping and was processed and shipped in 1 day with no additional costs. Would gladly do business again!

About average from other websites but big advantage is free shipping so thats where you save money.

Superfast. I actually got an email in under 1 second from when I clicked submit, tracking order was sent the same day and was shipped out. They offer good guarantees and you can return items shipping included if anything is wrong which is almost unheardof on the internet.  
 
Shipping:  
WOW the fastest shipping from anything I've ever ordered over the internet. Actually ordered during the afternoon and product was upgraded to overnight shipping free of charge and received the next mid morning. Incredible. Product was well packaged with bubble wrap as well.  
 
If I need shoes again this is where I am doing business.

I orderd some Teva sandals from this store. Like the other review before mine the company updated my shipping from standard to overnight. I recieved the sandals in 2 days time.  
 
I cannot see why they do this on a regular basis, infact it makes me quite suspicious becuase I cannot see how they can afford to do that.  
 
None the less. My experience with Zappos.com was a pleasant one and if their expediting of packages is from the goodness of their heart then great, Hoever it makes you wonder if they perhaps make their money by selling your personal information to outside sources.  
 
I'm probably being over paranoid about it. Great shipping and average prices. Nice store!

I ordered a pair of Florsheim Men's shoes at 12:10 p.m. on April 1st 2004 and the Fed EX delivery man dropped the off at my home in Cleveland at 12:10 p.m. today April 2nd. They were shipped from Sheppardsville, Ky. Now that is fast service. The price was fair and the combination of no sales tax and free shipping made it an overall good deal.

Excellent online shoe store:  
1) Huge selection; very wide range of prices and styles.  
2) *Excellent* customer service; I shop a lot online and this is without doubt the best store I have encountered with regard to response times and problem resolution.  
3) 365 day return policy : if the shoe doesn't fit; just return it; they provide pre-paid usps/ups labels online.  
4) Free shipping; often upgraded to free next day shipping.  
5) Returned 1 pair that was too small without any problems.  
6) I also had no problem returning another pair that actually started falling apart, what's more I received an email from Zappos apologizing for the shoes that were defective, along with a 30% discount coupon.  
Overall : Great store, I have recommended this store to all my friends and family.  

I ordered sandals from this merchant on March 10th via standard shipping (4-8 days). Later that day, I received an e-mail from them stating that they were upgrading my shipping to next day. True to their word, I received my sandals the next day (the 11th) at noon, everything in perfect order. Very fast!! Then I happened to see that another website had the sandals at a lower price, so I filled out Zappos on-line price protection form, wondering if they would honor it. The following day I received an e-mail that they verified the lower cost and were refunding me 110 percent of the difference. Awesome! I will definitely use this merchant again for purchases. They have tons of merchandise and provided one of the best on-line experiences I've had to date.

Ordered it on a saturday afternoon, got my order tuesday, and that was with free shipping. Execellent service.
