Never EVER shop at this store. They do not honor their policies. If you need to return something you will be in for a world of grief.
Their Customer Service Rep gave me instructions for returning their shoes that turned out to be incorrect. Shoebuy has kept the shoes and will not refund my $$. I'm out $251.85.
I ordered 5 pairs of shoes. They came in two cartons - one pair in one carton and the other 4 pairs in a second carton. None of the shoes fit.
This company advertises free shipping on returns but they give you only one shipping label per order. I could not fit all the shoes in one carton. I called the Customer Service line and asked what to do. The CS Rep told me to remove the shoes from their shoeboxes so they would all fit in one carton.
Well, it turns out that's not their policy. I had to remove three pairs of shoes from their boxes to fit them all in one carton. They only gave me credit for 2 pairs of shoes.
I called Customer Service again and spoke to a supervisor. She was sympathetic but her boss refused to issue credit. Even though I had the name of the original CSR who gave me the wrong info, and even though they have a recording of the call, they refuse to issue credit.
I've put the item in dispute with my credit card and am about to call the Mass. Attorney General's office but I don't know if I'll ever get my money back.
Stay away from this reseller.

Epilogue:
I posted this review in April, it is now July. I filed a complaint with the Boston BBB and also the Mass. Atty General's Office. It took months of negotiations on the part of an angel in the Mass. Atty General's Office, but he got me my refund.
I also wrote to the President of the company and did not get a response.
I reiterate: Do NOT buy from this seller! They do not honor their policies or their word. There are other online shoe stores with better selections and excellent customer service. This review was modified by its author, techmaven, on

I can't believe the negative reviews here.I found shoebuy when I was looking for my favorite running socks. They were way cheaper then anywhere else. They arrived quickly and as ordered. Next I saw that an employee discount program at work offered 10% off. I ordered cowboy boots from them and got a discount they were running at the time AND the discount from my job. They boots arrived quickly and I loved them. Next I ordered a gym bag and some Crocs. Again I got some discounts. The Crocs were too big. They happily took them back and made sure I still got the discount on the right size. Very accomadating and again fast delivery.
Sunday I ordered some hiking boots and found them cheaper elsewhere. I sent along the web site, with a screen shot of the page with my size and the price. Today when I hadn't received email yet I emailed customer service and within an hour had a confirmation that they had received the other request and were crediting my account. I am loving Shoebuy.com. Give them a shot, maybe they are responding to previous negative reviews but so far I am 4 for 4.

The price that I received a new pair of Doc Martens for from Shoebuy.com was unbelievable! Their percent off coupon was the only reason why I gave them a shot, because with the percent off coupon, their price beat the competition. Delivery was on-time and there was not a single hiccup with the whole ordering process. When I am in the market again for shoes, I will give Shoebuy.com a shot, especially if the price is right.

I wouldnt normally ever buy shoes online without trying them on first, but I thought due to the free returns policy that it would be okay. So I got my boots delivered and they did not look like the color I ordered but I figure that maybe the picture online just looks different than in person. So I wore the boots around my house for a whole day to see how they feel. The first few hours they felt fine, but after a while they started to pinch my toe. When I woke up the next morning with a swollen toe, I figured I better get the next size. I sent the boots back for an exchange. I got a new box and opened it to see that the color was indeed the color I had originally ordered, but not the color of the boots I got. But then I read the invoice saying that the boots weren't returnable due to "dirty/scuffed soles and heels." Well thats great, now I have SOMEONE ELSE'S worn shoes in the size thats too small. Easy to say I wont ever buy footwear online again, particularly from shoebuy.

I took my chances and ordered from them despite the negative reviews. They had a year-end 20% off sale and the price was great. Shoebuy shipped quite quickly and the shoes fit. Of course, I ordered an Ecco shoe I'd previously owned. Surprisingly, the shoe was shipped directly from Ecco--my home address as the shipping address and Shoebuy as the billing/account address. This may explain the difficulties with returns--in my case Shoebuy never stocked the shoe. If I'd returned it, they'd have been quite unhappy and not really had anywhere to put the shoe. Shoebuy essentially loaned me their Ecco account for a fee of about 50% markup--compared to 100% ("Keystone") markup at most retail stores. Bottom line--if you know it will fit and you'll like it, go for it; if you aren't sure--go to a family shoe store and make a "shoedog" (I was one in college) happy.

I placed an order this morning for a pair of pumps. I immediately sent the pricematch email with the required information. So far no response on the PM.
I wish I had read these reviews before I placed my order. Other online shoe merchants with PM policies have you call in for the PM and you get it immediately. It seems Shoebuy delays the PM by not checking the email quickly, giving the shoes time to sell out/go out of stock at the other store.
Once I saw these reviews, I immediately called the 1-800 customer service number to cancel my order. Over and over again, the line was either busy, or I was connected to an ad for a chat line then disconnected. The 1-800 number doesn't even connect to Shoebuy.
I hope these shoes fit, cuz I think otherwise I'm screwed...I just got my shipment confirmation email, so even if I could get through to Shoebuy, cancellation is off the table.
UPDATE:
I got my "your order is not eligible" cheaper shoe is out of stock email today...24 hours after I placed my order. The shoe was in stock a full 12 hours after I placed my order, of course they waited until it was out of stock to contact me.

I ordered 2 pairs of shoes- same style, different colors. I wore both pairs 2,maybe 3 times indoors on carpeting and I returned both pairs because they hurt my feet when worn for an extended period of time.
Both pairs were returned 12/7/07,both in excellent condition since they had never been worn outdoors. One pair was credited to my account, the other pair was returned to me 2 weeks later stating that the shoes weren't returnable due to "dirty soles and scuffed, worn heels." Now,keep in mind that this is on shoes that have been worn 3 times at the most,INDOORS on carpeted floor.
I also noticed that ShoeBuy edits their reviews of items. I have posted several reviews where all negatives about the item had been removed, with only the positive posted. This does not give an honest review of the item.
The reviews that I have posted at Zappos have been posted in full, including both negative and positive comments.
Shoebuy has steadily been going downhill lately. They have dropped a lot of the brands that I used to buy and their return policy is screwy. Zappos and other sites have been getting my business lately.
ShoeBuy USED to be the first site that I went to when I wanted/needed a new pair of shoes, but that is no longer true. I am done with ShoeBuy,they have lost me as a customer.
Hopefully, this review will keep others from encountering the same issues.

I purchased a pair of boots here and then saw that they were being sold at another site for a much lower price. I wanted to jump on their 110% price protection policy so I sent them an email with all the details of the lower price. 1st drawback: no call-in price protection number like Zappos.com and Shoes.com.
Of course, the next day, the shoes on the other site were sold out in the exact color/size combo I wanted and OF COURSE, ShoeBuy hadn't even see my email yet. I finally got an email saying they couldn't find my shoe on the other site so they couldn't help me. Great, thanks a lot for that speedy service.
Looks like I'm going to be returning the shoes knowing I can find them cheaper elsewhere, just need to be patient.

I have purchased many pair of shoes from shoebuy.com and never had an occasion to return a pair until the last pair. When I received the shoes, I tried them on while on a carpeted floor. They were on my feet for less than 2 minutes. They were too wide for my feet. I called for a return label which they sent me. I returned the shoes only to have them shipped back to me with a note that the shoes had been worn. These shoes were returned to shoebuy.com in the same condition that I received them. There is no sign that they have ever been worn by me or anyone else. I asked for a re-evaluation, which is done by reviewing a photo they had taken when I returned the shoes. I have e-mailed shoebuy.com multiple times saying that I will mail the shoes back to them at my expense in order to have a first hand evaluation; and if they can honestly say that the shoes have been worn, they can keep the shoes and they won't hear from me again. It's a win-win offer for shoebuy.com. They won't even respond to my e-mails. Shoebuy.com does not treat the individual customer fairly and is not true to its advertising claim.

It's been over a year since I returned two pairs of keds shoes and only was credited for one. They told me to tape the boxes together which we did with strapping tape. I sent them back UPS on their label. They say only one was returned but even after repeatedly explaining that my UPS confirmation shows the shipping weight to be correct (and sending them copies) for two pairs of shoes, they denied my credit. I even disputed it with the credit card company twice and each time they believed Shoebuy.com. I am still mad a year later and am out th $27.00 they kept. Someone in their shipping and receiving was stealing the shoes because that's where the confirmation had to come from.

I have no idea how they are with their returns because I purchased shoes that I knew already fit, because I sized them at a store. The items I ordered were shipped promptly, and received within a weeks time. Shipping was free, and I ordered with a $10 savings coupon I found on slickdeals.net, so my overall price was VERY low.
It scares me to hear all these horror stories, but my experience has been good. I don't want to take chances with their returns, so I think I'll just order shoes I know fit well.
*EDIT* I actually had to make a return for my Croc Scute sandals that I got. It was too big, and I wore them around my hardwood floored home. I sent it back with their UPS label, they received it within a week, and sent me back a confirmation email that it was received and the purchase price credited back to my credit card.
I originally purchased the Crocs for a discount, and the customer service rep gave me the coupon code to recieve that same discount to re-purchase the item in the correct size.
I am overall happy with the service I received. I've learned in the internet shopping world, the same company can offer A+ service to one person, and F- service to the next. Sometimes it's hit or miss, but I've been lucky thus far, and will continue using them for future purchases. This review was modified by its author, R1ceRocket, on

Watch out! This company will screw you in a heartbeat. They claim free return shipping and a 60 day money-back guarantee BUT thats a LIE.
Laurie Aronoff is the Director of Customer Service and one of the rudest people you'll ever talk to...she's also a liar. Over a 100 people have filed complaints with the BBB about this company and the majority of the complaints relate to refunds.
Don't be their "sucker", shop else where.
