Bought a pair of Doc Martens and followed their steps exactly for the 110% price guarantee because I found the same shoes for significantly less. Received email stating they were refusing to pricematch stating other site didn't have a size 11 shoe. I ordered a US 12 (UK 11) pair of shoes and the other site showed a 12 in stock and they are a US store and if they didn't clearly indicate whether it was US or UK it only makes sense they were advertising the US size. Sent two emails to shoebuy.com stating that the other site had matching size and that I needed a response and from them within 2 days, and that was over a week ago and they refuse to respond. I refused shipment and will be disputing charge with my credit card company. Pretty poor service when I followed all the steps of the price guarantee exactly.

I have had the worst experience with shoebuy.com! I ordered a pair of shoes for a friend to be sent to her as a gift on June 3rd. Today is the 18th and I was just notified that they have been shipped. For the past two weeks I have been waiting for that email and I called customer service about 4 times, each time the line was busy. I emailed customer service 5 times, and got one response saying I will get another email in 24 hrs. That never happened. I am so furious, finally I talked to someone and they gave me no explanation on what happened to my order. I only hope they actaully get there at some point. Bottom line, I would not advise shopping at shoebuy.com, they are unreliable and their customer service department is unreachable and not helpful.

Never EVER shop at this store. They do not honor their policies. If you need to return something you will be in for a world of grief.  
 
Their Customer Service Rep gave me instructions for returning their shoes that turned out to be incorrect. Shoebuy has kept the shoes and will not refund my $$. I'm out $251.85.  
 
I ordered 5 pairs of shoes. They came in two cartons - one pair in one carton and the other 4 pairs in a second carton. None of the shoes fit.  
 
This company advertises free shipping on returns but they give you only one shipping label per order. I could not fit all the shoes in one carton. I called the Customer Service line and asked what to do. The CS Rep told me to remove the shoes from their shoeboxes so they would all fit in one carton.  
 
Well, it turns out that's not their policy. I had to remove three pairs of shoes from their boxes to fit them all in one carton. They only gave me credit for 2 pairs of shoes.  
 
I called Customer Service again and spoke to a supervisor. She was sympathetic but her boss refused to issue credit. Even though I had the name of the original CSR who gave me the wrong info, and even though they have a recording of the call, they refuse to issue credit.  
 
I've put the item in dispute with my credit card and am about to call the Mass. Attorney General's office but I don't know if I'll ever get my money back.  
 
Stay away from this reseller.

Epilogue:  
I posted this review in April, it is now July. I filed a complaint with the Boston BBB and also the Mass. Atty General's Office. It took months of negotiations on the part of an angel in the Mass. Atty General's Office, but he got me my refund.  
 
I also wrote to the President of the company and did not get a response.  
 
I reiterate: Do NOT buy from this seller! They do not honor their policies or their word. There are other online shoe stores with better selections and excellent customer service.

I wouldnt normally ever buy shoes online without trying them on first, but I thought due to the free returns policy that it would be okay. So I got my boots delivered and they did not look like the color I ordered but I figure that maybe the picture online just looks different than in person. So I wore the boots around my house for a whole day to see how they feel. The first few hours they felt fine, but after a while they started to pinch my toe. When I woke up the next morning with a swollen toe, I figured I better get the next size. I sent the boots back for an exchange. I got a new box and opened it to see that the color was indeed the color I had originally ordered, but not the color of the boots I got. But then I read the invoice saying that the boots weren't returnable due to "dirty/scuffed soles and heels." Well thats great, now I have SOMEONE ELSE'S worn shoes in the size thats too small. Easy to say I wont ever buy footwear online again, particularly from shoebuy.

I placed an order this morning for a pair of pumps. I immediately sent the pricematch email with the required information. So far no response on the PM.  
 
I wish I had read these reviews before I placed my order. Other online shoe merchants with PM policies have you call in for the PM and you get it immediately. It seems Shoebuy delays the PM by not checking the email quickly, giving the shoes time to sell out/go out of stock at the other store.  
 
Once I saw these reviews, I immediately called the 1-800 customer service number to cancel my order. Over and over again, the line was either busy, or I was connected to an ad for a chat line then disconnected. The 1-800 number doesn't even connect to Shoebuy.  
 
I hope these shoes fit, cuz I think otherwise I'm screwed...I just got my shipment confirmation email, so even if I could get through to Shoebuy, cancellation is off the table.  
 
UPDATE:  
 
I got my "your order is not eligible" cheaper shoe is out of stock email today...24 hours after I placed my order. The shoe was in stock a full 12 hours after I placed my order, of course they waited until it was out of stock to contact me.  
 
SHOEBUY's Pricematch is a SCAM!

Watch out! This company will screw you in a heartbeat. They claim free return shipping and a 60 day money-back guarantee BUT thats a LIE.  
Laurie Aronoff is the Director of Customer Service and one of the rudest people you'll ever talk to...she's also a liar. Over a 100 people have filed complaints with the BBB about this company and the majority of the complaints relate to refunds.  
Don't be their "sucker", shop else where.

The shoes did not fit quite right after one walk around my carpeted living room. So I attempted to return them. Shoebuy sent them back saying they showed signs of wear. Ridiculous. I tried them on for all of one minute. Shoebuy's customer service was unhelpful and does not seem to care about customer satisfaction. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

This store scares me and I would never buy from them. I called customer service three times and each time they immediately placed me on hold. Each time, the SAME woman answered the phone. Do they not have other employees? The last time I called, she only placed me on hold for five minutes so I waited. I asked how soon they check their e-mails, because I had a price match that I thought would go fast. She acted annoyed and gave me an attitude. She or her boss checks e-mails and it takes 24-48 hours to verify a price match. That made me uncomfortable, so I cancelled within one hour of placing the order. They still billed my VISA. I called back today and I swear it's the SAME woman...her name is Geneva. If you are going to price match, just go to ZAPPOS. They have wonderful customer service and quick shipping.

I purchased several pairs of shoes from Shoebuy.com, two of which did not fit me at all. I immediately requested return forms. Shortly after these forms arrived, I very seriously injured my left knee, leaving me unable to get around for several months. In April, I returned the shoes to Shoebuy.com, along with a note explaining that I had been injured and was unable to return the shoes before that time. They sent the shoes back to me, saying that under no circumstances will anything be accepted for a return after 60 days. They stated that this is a "generous" return policy. (Interesting, since most of their competitors' sites have a 365-day return policy.) When I telephoned the company, I was told that under no circumstances would the shoes be returnable. I was told to email Customer Service, which I did; I received no response to this email. Finally, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau; Shoebuy.com did respond to this (as required by the BBB), once again denying my request for credit. I am 62 years old, and this knee injury was very incapacitating.  
I simply could not return these shoes in the alloted time. I did ask for the name of an executive to whom I could write; I was told that names were never available. This is NOT a good company.

I ordered the Propet Meadow Walker 7 W from Shoebuy.com. The package arrived at my mail office I put them on took about 3 steps and realized that they were too wide for me and packed them back up and shipped them back to Shoebuy.com. Next I am told that they have been worn are creased and dirty on the bottom and are returned to me. If I indeed had walked around in them I could have understood but I didn't. I spoke to the manager, Laury, and she tells me they were creased and dirty on the bottom and her word is final. BE CAREFUL only try on their shoes with your feet held in the air because most likely you cannot return them to Shoebuy. I would suggest you try another company.

I purchased a pair of addidas sweat pants for my husband for Christmas. I ordered these on 12/13 from Shoebuy.com. Although they shipped out on 12/15, they will not arrive until 12/27, too late for Christmas. I was really furious, called Customer Service, and spoke to both a regular representative, as well as a supervisor. Both displayed a massive attitude, and just said that's how it goes, they make no special effort to get anything on time for Christmas, and that I really should have called on the phone if I wanted to make sure it came by Christmas (of course, they don't mention on the Web site that you need to get on the phone with them if you want to make sure it will be there by Christmas, this is some trick you're supposed to know). I ended up speaking to the director of Customer Service, who had the identical mealy mouth things to say and identical bad attitude--they make no apologies, buyer beware. Bottom line--no present by Christmas, absolutely no apology, and a reluctant offer of $2.80 refund if I wanted it. I had the feeling they get lots of angry calls like this every day, they were very nonplussed by me, and that's just the way they do business. Who cares about a bunch of angry customers if the orders keep rolling in?  
 
I warn anyone who wants a present delivered by a certain date to order from anywhere but Shoebuy. I thought thirteen days before Christmas was a reasonable amount of time for an order--I was wrong if you're ordering from Shoebuy. I bought about 10 other items from other online stores on that same day, and they all got here last week.  
 
Be smart, buy from Zappos, who has the best customer service in the business, and mostly upgrades my orders to overnight delivery. I will never buy from Shoebuy again (Zappos didn't carry the pants I was looking for or I'd never have bought from them in the first place), and I recommend that those who actually want to receive the products they ordered in a reasonable amount of time stay far far away from Shoebuy, unless you just want to let yourself in for a whole lot of frustration!
