Do not buy from this company. They accept no returns. They say 100% satisfaction but do not deliver. They sell 2nds.

This most recent order is one of three orders placed by me over the past 9 months. the first two orders we "out of stock" although not noted on the site. i waited 3 months before finally cancelling both orders (seperate orders on seperate days) this last time i purchased another product which was a left handed holster. now, i know left handed products arent a hot seller however, i got an email the next day saying that due to the emmence popularity of the product they were out of stock but they predicted to get some more in within 10 days...no thanks, im not waiting another 3 months...three strikes.

service was very slow. Communication was great, they will talk to you and are helpfull. In the end i did not recieve the right item, but there is no way im going to wait for them to get it right. It took them a month to get my full order to me and then one of the items was a different brand. Please do not waste your time with this company, take your money somewhere else.

Buyer beware...
I ordered sunglasses, Spy Optics Hielo, for $64.12, as advertised on their website. The next day, they cancel my order, email me stating there was a pricing error and offered me a pitiful $5.00 off the new price.
I haven't called them yet, but any company that wont honor their advertised price, even if it was an error on their part, is probably a company with some service of issues.

I called them on 10/24, and their CS stated they will not honor the original advertised price to preserve their profit margin.
I have sent an email to their executives to inform them of my experience. I guess I'll find out if they truly stand by their 100% satisfaction guarantee. This review was modified by its author, wLazar0, on

My product was great and the service was good until I received it and there was substantial collect on delivery charges. I know there is no duty on a radar gun coming from the US to Canada although there was about 11 dollars sales tax that I expected. But there was another 30 dollars I had to pay before receiving my radar gun! 30 dollars extra on a 70 dollar product! Most people would call that ridicules but opticsplanet.com calls them normal and that they can’t be responsible. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM OPTICSPLANET.COM THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND NEVER GIVE IT BACK. Worst part is they give you a generic response when you contact them and don’t help you figure out what the charges are. THUMBS WAY DOWN

Worst nightmare..
it is said that 1-3 days
I am still waiting for more than 2 weeks now
I didnt get good feedback
mostly ready made emails and automated replies.
I sent more than 10 emails , and phone calls
and I may not get it by the time
NOT good customer service

I will never buy anything from this place again. This order was placed on backorder and the item would not be available for approx 2 weeks. Not a big deal, I called in and cancelled the order. The woman took my info and said my order was cancelled and apologized for not having the item in stock. 10 days later a box shows up on my porch. Well it was the cancelled order. I called and said this was cancelled and no big surprise, they have no record of me calling. Go figure. Well I have to pay to ship this back and get my refund. Real nice. This place can get bent as far as I am concerned. I will get the word out on this crappy service.

Worst experience I possible.
Check the email to your company for detail.
In short half of your staff are doing a great job and the others will destroy your business.
You know who they are........train them up or let them go.
Also, recommend that you provide sales agents with item number cross reference numbers for products from Butler Creek.
I am totally dissatisfied with your company after having great experiences with previous orders.
I'm going back to Midsouth.
That's just business.

I have placed three orders with this merchant,first order went fine,second order they charged my debit card three times,third order they messed up so bad its to long to explain.The worst customer service ever.Prices are not worth the headache.They lost this customer!!!!

This website never has items in stock - I've ordered 9 items from them over the last 3 months, and only 3 were currently in stock. Unfortunately, they don't tell you until AFTER you've placed your order (complete with credit card number), creating a customer service issue EVERY time you deal with them. I will not use again.

Order part received with estimated 7-10 business day delay in restocking missing item. No updates regarding status of outstanding item & only when called was it apparent the item would not be restocked until 1 month later! Offered 5% discount for my inconvenience.
Dissapointing customer servicing.

Extremely poor customer service. Anyone who has had any problem with there order states so. Customer service personnel consistently act "annoyed".
They blamed the problem on me, and then refused to fix it. I guess they get enough business....

I ordered an item online and then decided to add to the order and could not figure any way to do it so I called the sales number and spoke with a salesperson who said that he would add the items, a speed loader and a magazine for a sig p220, after waiting on hold for 10 minutes the salesman came back and said he took care of it and the order was updated to reflect the additional items and free shipping. When I received the order confirmation the next day it did not reflect the changes so I phoned in and confirmed that the original item was all that was sent and I was charged for shipping.
No apology or offer to send the items was made and so I was dissapointed with the sales staffs service, or lack there of.

Last year I was ordering from both sites: TacticalStore and OpticsPlanet. Excellent choice and prices, but USPS delivery is stopping me from any new purchase. It usually takes from 3 to 6 months to deliver to Kazakhstan. I have made may order in August because could not find these items anywhere else. Hopefully it will arrive before New Year. Unfortunately you do not have more expensive and more efficient postal services! For example Bodybuilding.com, they deliver stuff to KZ within 5 days!

Unfortunatly I had a terrible experiance shopping with optics planet. Firstly, my order was postponed because the shipping address was different from the billing address. This is understandable for security reasons, but it took forever to figure out that they had put the "small charge" in with the total charge making it hard to decipher that the small charge had been made so I could right the issue.
Second, I received the Bushnell Banner scope and when I mounted it to my rifle and went to the range I found out the scope was faulty. I understand that this could be from the manufacturer, but as a customer I find it pretty poor customer service to tell me I cannot return the product because it was mounted to a rifle. How in the hell would I be able to notice the problem without mounting it to the rifle and taking it out for a field test? The customer service rep tells me to send it to Bushnell it is not their problem. After going through these unfortunate events I will NEVER, EVER shop with optics planet again. I cannot beleive they would put a customer out because of a product that is faulty and offer no service to make it right. Very poor customer service in my opinion!!!
