I ordered roses for my mother from this business and was extremely disappointed. The roses arrived looking wilted and a couple of the stems were broken. In less than three days my mother had to throw them out.
I sent an e-mail to the company sharing my disatisfaction. Unfortunately the response from customer service did not address any of my concerns.
I do not recommend this company.

The quality of the flowers has dropped dramatically in the last year. Previously the flowers could be expected to last two weeks or more. On three of the last four shipments, the flowers were dead within 3 days (I paid for 30 blooms, 12 were DOA - the rest dead in 3 days). They replaced the shipments, but so what? When the flowers used to be good, you could justify not having picked them out yourself - because they were fresher. Now, you have the premium price, the stigma of shopping online instead of making the time to stop at a florist, and the flowers are all dead within 3 days anyway? Honestly I was so embarrassed for using Proflowers this year for Mother's day that I'll never use them again.

I placed two orders, the number above and MDOONAODV68U. Neither were delivered, they just answered my cimplaint and noted that I mistakenly put the wrong delivery dates, this changes the entired picture as I have ordered from them in the past and was satisfied. For our 40th wedding anniversary I bought one dozen premium long stem roses from ProFlowers for delivery to my wife on our Friday anniversary date. I received an e-mail about 3:00PM that the flowers were delivered but in fact they were not and I was home all day. After checking the neighborhood I called Pro Flowers. The customer service rep thought it was funny because she giggled and told me they could not get me flowers until Tuesday. Her manager then told me I should have called earlier (Duh!). But he’d be happy to refund my money although he wouldn’t give me his name (so I could call back if my account wasn’t credited -- I didn’t want a refund actually, I wanted my wife to get the roses). He refused to discuss any other options -- since I didn’t call earlier it was Tuesday or a refund. I then asked for his boss who said he could get me flowers the next day (Sat.) – after 30 minutes of this I threw in the towel and told them to credit the account. Of course the reversal hasn’t appeared yet. Stay away from ProFlowers. The company is badly run and poorly staffed at customer service. I have no idea about the quality of the product since my wife never got the roses. This review was modified by its author, gdavis99, on

I've made a few orders from ProFlowers, and all were excellent. One was delivered to a college dorm, two to an office building and one to a home - every single one came out great. The flowers all arrived closed, and were magnificent upon opening.
You can't go wrong with ProFlowers.

I needed to buy flowers for my wife for our anniversary, which was the next day. Usually, I just call the neighborhood florist. This time, though, I figured there must be a way to order them online that might be a bit cheaper and would keep me from having to recite some mushy card inscription over the phone.
I did a quick search and came up with proflowers.com. I found a GREAT price on 2 dozen roses that could be delivered the next day for only an additional $5 shipping charge. Before I ordered I came to this site to check reviews. The reviews were mixed and those that were unhappy seemed to be extremely unhappy. I nearly didn't complete the order because the last thing I needed was for "cheap" flowers to show up and be in horrible shape or be a day late.
I decide to roll the dice rather than spend three times the money at the florist. I'm incredibly glad that I did. UPS delivered the flowers the next afternoon. They were well packaged and beautiful.
I will definitely use this service the next time that I need to send flowers.

1) i was charged 10$ for guaranteed delivery on valentines day, but the flowers came a day late. ask for the 10$ back and they refused.
2) they just left the flowers at the front door in the cold-the flowers wilted a little.

Delivered on time for valentine's day. However the quality of the flowers are not impressive. Much worse than those sold a lot cheaper in Costco. The pedals of one flower fell off right after my wife opened the wrap. I sent an email to complain. They replied fast and promised to replace it.

Ordered flowers on 01 Feb 2007 for delivery on Valentine's Day,14 Feb 2007 (two week in advance) to my girlfriend's work. Date came and went with no flowers. On the 15 Feb 2007 I checked my order status and according to UPS my order was supposed to ship GROUND on 13 Feb 2007. When have you ever heard UPS ground delivering in one day?!!! I am in New England, ProFlowers is based out of San Diego! So I called customer service that day (15 Feb 2007) just to be told that ProFlowers HAS NOT even shipped the order to UPS and what I saw was just a shipment info. They gave me a refund, but I looked like an ass in front of my girlfriend. What company guarantees delivery on 14 Feb and does not plan to ship order until the day before and does not even email you to let you know that flowers wont be there on time.

Very satisfied with my order. I was a little worried about having the flowers delivered to a hotel, but it worked without a hitch and my wife was very impressed! The bouquet was gorgeous and the flowers lasted much longer than usual! Got my money's worth, that's for sure. Another order I placed for my mom a few days later was also just as satisfying. Would definitely do business again, especially given some of their competitors' ratings on this site.

I ordered two dozen petite roses to be delivered to my girlfriend on Valentine's Day (from a deal on this site). It all sounded awesome, and she got them on the correct day, but when she opened the box she had 2 dozen tulips. While she liked the tulips, they weren't the roses that I ordered.
I called ProFlowers and they told me that their computer said that I ordered tulips (when I checked my order confirmation I printed out it said roses). They offered to send new flowers (though it was too late for Valentine's Day), but I told them that I'd rather have a refund and they gave it to me.

Ordered holiday flowers for my grandmother. She was thrilled with them. She said they lasted longer than other flowers she has received. Fast delivery and at a great price.

I purchased roses for my wife and they came in a box. At first we were surprised, and then when we put them in the free vase, they were still in bud form. Over the next 2 weeks they opened up and stayed fresh. They were a good price and delivered on time. My wife loves their flowers.
