This exactly my experience with this vendor. I ended up paying hundreds of dollars more because they did not tell me the total cost. BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE. Buyers beware.

I never got around to posting this review until now, but I just wanted to let others know of the positive experience I had with shopdigitalonline.com. Last summer, I was in the market for a 65" LCD TV. To my dismay, I found it out of stock at numerous retailers including Amazon.com and Costco. I searched around the Internet and found the TV at shopdigitalonline.com. I called them to make sure the TV was really in stock like their website said and sure enough they said it was in stock. I proceeded to place my order. The TV arrived when they said it would and the brand new TV was in great shape!

The only thing negative I can say is that they did not tell me right away what the shipping cost was going to be. It turned out to be fairly high, but the TV was still a good deal.

Thanks.

Two days after I order, they hit me up with the verify email which is really a scam so they can try to sell me the extended warranty. After declining, they deliberately wait over 2 weeks before sending the TV despite their site saying they ship within 24-48 hours and despite them telling me they would have shipped immediately had I ordered the extended warranty. The TV arrives broken and they promise to ship a new one to arrive within a week and take back the broken one at that time. The week passes, not only have they not shipped anything, but then they want photos of the damage, so I unbox the TV again, take the pictures and send them to them. Now they claim it will be a couple weeks before they send me the replacement as they wait to be reimbursed by insurance (which they charged for shipping insurance, a hefty 7 or so percent.) They also make the argument that they don't want to be paying for 2 TV's at once, which is bologna since they had already charged my credit card so I was the only one with any charged money and no product. Customer service manager is Elliot and the salesguy and owner is named Henry. Neither has a clue about how to treat a customer or resolve a problem properly. Fortunately using a credit card provides some decent protection from these thieves, but I have to wait a full month before I can proceed by that route.

I ordered a 55" Sony TV from them on Black Friday and they stated it would ship within 24-48 hours...Not even! I called them everday for a week with an explanation of "be patient we are back logged"..Very rude with no care of my complaint going up the line. Cancel the order was their only response without explanation. I finally (after 3 weeks) was put in touch with a supervisor (Henry)with no response other than its on backorder at Sony. He said they are so swamped they are not doing the black friday thing again. I say they should get out of the business altogether! They are terrible, and your crazy if you try to do business with them!

All,
I hope that you all know this company. I will never buy things from them again. They are cheating. I ordered one Sony KDL-55V5100 Sony BRAVIA 55" 1080p 120Hz KDL55V5100 LCD HDTV KDL-55V5100 and they told me that they would ship it to me within 24 hours. But they never did even after two weeks. I called them several times and couldn't get a person. I finally got hold a person and you can never imagine how rude he is. He dislike canceling my order and I end up calling my credit card company...

I bought a tv in March of 2007, with 5 yr warranty. The same group of companies that have the stores run the warranty service. BBB has numerous complaints. Many phone calls, no results. They hang up on your. Even BBB has stated "No response" as to how the issue is resolved. I did actually receive the TV about when promised, it is the warranty that they stuck me with. You can call Shopdigitalonline.com scammers, but I call them thieves!!! In July 2009 I ordered for 5 units of Sharp LC-52D64U LCD television sets from this company upon seeing their “great” deal prices online. 2 days later they sent me an e-mail to call to verify my order – interesting!!! I did. I was told shipping would be in 2 days. 3 days after I got an e-mail saying, “Your order has shipped”, providing 5 different trucking companies as carriers. 14 days later a call came and someone introduced himself as Henry the manger of the company. He offered me a deal to accept the LC-52D55U, which he claimed was better and more expensive, but that he was going to offer it for the same price – I declined. He said the LC-52D64 would take 2 weeks to be delivered as it was on back order, but if I had accepted the 55U, it would be delivered in 2 days. I insisted on the 64U. 3 weeks after no TVs were delivered. I called and Elliot said they are still expecting them in the warehouse. One week more, the story remained the same, then I told them I was canceling the order. They accepted and promised to return the money to my card within a week – I wasn’t happy it was going to take them that long, but I didn’t know 1 week was going to be too soon. I kept calling these guys and they kept telling me the same story week after week. As each week is about to end, they will say next week. This continued for another one month. By this time 2 months had gone since they took $5150 off my card without refund. I decided to check their rating online – the reviews I saw dazed me. I then had to call my credit company to dispute the charge – luckily the dispute was successful after 3 months. I called back Elliot to inquire why they never cared to refund my money despite many failed promises and he sounded very angry that I disputed the charge thereby confirming that they actually had no plans of refunding it. The sad news is that these cheats have gone to eBay to do their last round of ripping off before they are finally subdued and forced under. Buyers please beware!!! I am so glad I was released off these guys hook.

Bait and Switch - Low life rip-offs. Placed order for Samsung TV under the impression unit was "in-stock". Received follow-up phone call "to verify high dollar purchase". The real reason was high pressure tactic to purchase extended warranty and wall mount. When I refused, salesperson was very aggravated. I then received a notice that product was out of stock and was backordered for 2-3 weeks. I left the B/O in place. Four weeks later I tried to inquire about B/O by going to ext. of salesperson. As soon as I talked to him and mentioned Back Order, I was put on hold for 15-20 min before hanging up. I called back and pushed number for sales department. I pretended that I was making a new purchase. I inquired about exact part# I had ordered four weeks ago. I was told the item was "in stock". I asked if order was placed today, how many days would it be, before unit actually shipped. The reply was "3 days". I then said I actually ordered a unit 4 weeks ago and gave sales order#. I was e-mailed B/O notice stating 2-3 weeks. Why hasn't my unit shipped? After being put on hold for 10 minutes, the response was that they just received them last Thursday and they were now in stock. I said, please ship my order. The response was a sales pitch to purchase an extended warranty and wall mount. "These units only come with a 90 day warranty" which is a lie, because Samsung website states 1 year warranty. I was then quoted a new price which was $158 higher than my hard copy Sales Order and price discussed with original salesman. The new price included "Insurance". I stated that the SO already had $169 shipping charge listed. "Shipping does not include 7% Insurance Fee"! When I protesed undocumented charges, I was told Insurance Charges were listed in their Terms & Conditions. I cancelled order. It is obvious that company posts artifically low price, then tries to upsell warranty and options. When unsucessful they Back Order, then inflate additional shipping charges.

Placed an order for a sharp LC-65D64U by using the website. I checked the next day to see if the order was processed and it had not been yet, so I called to see what the problem was and was informed that they process thousands of orders a day and would get to mine in the next couple of days. After it was to be processed i was informed that it would take another 2 weeks for the tv to arrive at it destination unless I paid express shipping. So it takes two weeks to go from NY to Norfolk,VA. Stay away from these people, nothing they say makes any sense in the real world....

First, look them up on the BBB - they are a TERRIBLE COMPANY - so far, 95 complaints have been filed against them, 3 of which have been resolved.

This company sold us one TV, and then purposefully shipped us the cheaper version, which is a completely different SKU number (we ordered a LC-52D65U, and they sent us a LC-52D55U). We are also suspicious that it was a refurbished TV, because the owner's manual wasn't included. When we received the TV, we realized they sent the wrong one, and we contacted them immediately. They stated that they knew it was the wrong TV when we ordered it, and then tried to convince us to keep it, saying it was Sharp's fault because they sent them a bunch of the wrong TV. They tried to convince us there wasn't a big difference between the two models, we had just been sent the "Walmart version" (yes, that's what they said!!!), and went so far as to offer us money to keep it. Even so, they eventually gave in and said they would take care of it, and would swap out the incorrect one for the correct one, all free of charge. However, after almost a month of being given the run-around, we finally had to return the TV to them at OUR EXPENSE. At one point, they tried to make my husband feel guilty for wanting the TV we ordered! They do not refund shipping, even if they are at fault, AND did I mention they're going to try to charge us a 15% restocking fee too?!?! They are terrible people, out to scam everyone they can. We saved up for this TV for a long time, and now we're stuck saving up for again. So disappointing and frustrating.

I ordered a Sharp Aquos LC52D65U Television from this company around July 15th of this year. One week later, the television arrived. Everything seemed to be in working condition. As I was plugging components into the TV, I noticed that the part number was actually an LC5255U, different than the one I ordered. I checked the shipping manifest and the website, and the 55U was nowhere to be found on their site. According to the shipping manifest, I had an LC52D65U.

When I called them to rectify the situation, they first explained that the 55U was the same as the 65U. Anticipating this, I had the specifications of both televisions up and explains that they were NOT in fact the same. The sales rep then offered to give me a $50 discount, which I declined. He then stated that they could exchange the television for the proper model. I was put on hold, and he then came back and told me that there were none in stock and offered a $100 discount. I told him I wanted a refund.

I was put on hold again and then the manager, Henry, spoke with me. He also tried to tell me that the two models were the same. I explained that they weren't. He then told me that he bought a bunch of 65U's from Sharp, and they sent him a Walmart version, the 55U. I told him that I didn't care. I ordered a 65U and I wanted a 65U. He then offered me a $200 discount, which I declined. He stated my only option was a refund, which I accepted.

I was put on hold, and the sales rep answered, stating that some 65U's would be in in 10 to 12 business days. I agreed to wait for the 65U to arrive. It has been 15 business days, and no television is in stock. I have now asked for a refund. I believe that they have no intention of rectifying this situation. To make matters worse, I had a friend call and inquire as to the availability of the 65U (which they show as being in stock on their Web site), and they told him that they had some in stock. It was only after he mentioned that he knew that there were "different models" of the 65U that they told him he would be receiving a 55U. When he asked again about the 65U, they said it would be in stock in 10 to 12 business days. Sound familiar? They also added $125 of insurance to the price after the fact and charged me $50 for the stand and remote even though it was listed in the description of the item on their site.

It is my assertion that this retailer is trying to get rid of some Wal-Mart TV's and advertising them falsely. What's more, I am out $426 in shipping (on which, I suspect they're making a profit). I think that a company like this should not be allowed to conduct business in such a manner.

Avoid, Avoid, Avoid. This has to be a garage shop operation. Two names come up in all these reviews. Elliot,Henry & Sara Cho. Elliot is the Sales Manager and Henry, who knows but his email to me was from Customer Service@shopdigitalonline.com.
After placing the order for a 63 inch Samsung Plazma TV on line, I waited a couple days and no email confirmation arrived. It actually went to a new email at Verizon that had not been activated yet. I called them around 5:45PM NY time on 7/3/2009 and asked about my order. The girl in customer Service said that it was due to be picked up that day. I got a funny feeling about this merchant after hanging up. I called back and said I wanted to cancel my order after finding the bad reviews on the internet. Sara got Elliot on the line and he asked me why I wanted to cancel the order. Stupid me i relaxed, added the extended warranty and hoped for th ebest. I even had Elliot send me pictures of the box and serial number he was shipping me. He suggested I call Samsung to confirm that the serial number was indeed new and not refurbished. I called but Samsung could not confirm because the sN on the box label was missing the last alpha character of the SN. The Elliot tells me that it would not be picked up that day (7/3/2009) after I pointed out that it was 6:30PM EST on a Friday the day before the 4th of July. After hanging up, I received a shipping confirmation and tracking number in an email from Elliot. I ran the number in the DB SCHENKER shipping company website and sure enough it had shipped. Now it is Tuesday 7/8/2009 and the TV, the one I ordered, was delivered. I worked from home today to be here when it arrived and inspect it. The truck driver helpen me take it downstairs and opened the box after making sure no obvious damage was done on the otter box. I looked over the white foam cover over the TV and again no signs of damage. I signed for the shipment and sent the truck on it's way. In the next two minutes my horror began. Removing the cover off the TV revealed that the TV was dropped hard somewhere along the line and the Plazma glass was broken over the left 1/3 of the screen. I immediately called the truck driver back and he told me to place a claim with the trucking company. I took all sorts of pictures of the broken screen and box. I called DB CS and they showed me their calim form on their web site. I also emailed Elliot and sent him a picture of the broken screen. Henry responded with "did you sign the BOL as the unit being damaged?

henry"
I called Henry and he told me not to file a claim with DB and instead he would. He said it would take 2-3 weeks to flush that all through and then he would ship me a new TV. In the mean time, I have a worthless TV sitting in my man cave. BTW the SN of the unit received did not match the SN Elliot sent me the photo of. However, the unit I did receive was manufactured in June 2009 so it is a new unit from all appearances. I will update this site once this sorts itse;f out but if it does I will never buy anything from these guys again. They are too small and being from NY are at least three strikes against them. I hope it all works out?

PS. The box did not contain any sort of packing slip nore the extended warranty papers Elliot promised me they would be in the box.

Stay away from this merchant. The (business) day after you get your e-mailed receipt showing your total, you will get an e-mail requiring you to call in and verify that you really did order the item, to prevent internet fruad (ironic, eh?). The real purpose of this call is to inform you of the insurance charge automatically added to your invoice, but not shown on your receipt. When this was added, the price of the TV was no longer competitive. Further, they were elusive about shipping timelines, methods, and when the shipment would actually go out. I finally cancelled my order. Looking back at the web site, of you hunt hard enought, you cvan fined a note saying insuracne charges woud be added, but they are not quantified. I wish I had done more homework researching this company before placing an order.

Ordered a 32" Toshiba LCD TV from them on 5/5/2009. Called to order and the first question I asked was if the TV was new or a refurbished model. They said it was a NEW TV. They quoted me something like 135.00 for shipping, and then told me if I added an extended warranty they would give me upgraded shipping at no additional cost.

Well, it took them a week to even process and ship the order... and then I check the tracking number and it was shipped via UPS ground. I called to see what happened and was told that UPS ground IS their upgraded shipping. They told me that standard shipping was DHL, and when I told them DHL didn't deliver in the U.S. anymore they told me they meant to say U.S.P.S. I asked to speak with a supervisor because the customer service lady wouldn't do anything for me and she claimed he was out of the office.

Frustrated and unsatisfied I waited for my TV to arrive. It shows up, I open the box, and right on the back of the TV it is burned into the plastic "REFURBISHED"

These guys are scamming liars, and I wouldn't doubt it if the 5 year warranty I paid extra for turned out to be a scam as well.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!
