I purchased a motherboard/cpu combo pcchips p53g with pentium d 805 and I am having difficulty with the computer locking up once it gets about 9 minutes away from finishing installation of Windows XP. At saleman's suggestion, I am going to try to put different memory in. I reset the cmos but it did not do any good. It looks like I will be returning this item.
I purchased a motherboard from this company and recieved it and it doesn't work at all. I called the company to send it back. I was frustrated by the way it was handled. Either I send it back and let them test it to see if it really is dead or I return it and have to pay a 20% restocking fee on a motherboard that was dead to begin with. Also I have to wait for them to send a replacement till they get the dead one back and can do testing on it. This whole time my computer is dead and I am frustrated. I will not purchase from this company ever again. they stated that they do not pretest the motherboards that they sell.
I purchased A dell replacement motherboard on 10-7-09. The seller had the board to me in record time and it was an excellent board that worked great. I highly recommend this seller to anyone looking for a good replacement motherboard.
This is the second or third Motherboard I've ordered from this company as well as other parts in the past. I've never had trouble with anything not working or going bad as of yet.
I received a defective motherboard and tried to send it back. After receiving the motherboard, AscendTech said it didn't match their records and they won't replace it. I didn't have the motherboard their records indicated. They are using their sloppy record keeping as an excuse to not stand behind their products.
I ordered a motherboard at AscendTech. Beforehand, I called them to ask a question. Operator was nice and knowledgable. Site ordering went smoothly. Product arrived in a timely manner and is working smoothly... I updated BIOS, downloaded windows updates, etc... Thank you AscendTech for giving me an extra 45 days warranty for posting a review =) I will definately keep you in mind if anyone I know needs a motherboard.

I placed the order on a Sunday and received the motherboard 4 days later. It was very easy to place the order online. The part works great and I will definately order from this company again.
I ordered a motherboard and was pleased with the price and time frame. Unfortunately it has broken so I am in the process of returning it, hopefully that will go smoothly. I'll update my review once this transaction is complete. So far, so good.
I ordered a power supply and a motherboard. Both were faulty and needed to be replaced. I received the power supply two weeks after the mother board even though it was ordered the same day. The power supply was bad and had to be replaced and after receiving a new power supply that worked; the motherboard would not work. The time was now exceeded on the motherboard warranty and Barebonekit.net would no longer honor the warranty. I paid almost $100.00 additional dollars to have my computer go through a System diagnostic twice only to find out the parts I received from Barebonekit.net were bad. I will not be ordering anything further from this company. I am very dissatisfied with the service I received. I have ordered computer software and hardware on line for many years. I went with Barebonekit.net because they had a large array of parts but apparently not service to match.
