Bought a barebones computer on line from Ascendtech.Website was very easy to use. Computer was delivered on time and have had no problems with it. Am very pleased for the incredible low price that I paid for it, it works great and is way faster then my old one. I have bought othe items from them and have never had a problem. TY

Shipped a dead motherboard. Tried to RMA it after spending $100 having it tested. Now claim is it out of warranty. Telling me to shove it.

shipping drove order price a few dollars above pricewatch's listed amount. company did not supply back i/o plate for case with order. will have to fashion thru own experience. good price for components, but overall 55% impressed.

ordered a replacement Dell 4600c MB on Sat., Iwas notified it was shipped on Mon. 3/8, recv'd on Wed. 3/10 (OH to CHI). From the price I thought it would be a refurb board-if it is it's amazing because it looks brand new--came installed on the MB tray (the photo showed a stripped down board) with HSF mount--ready to slide in. Worked like a charm and the computer was up and running within an hour. In my case Ascendtech gave more than I could reasonably have expected considering several other sellers I looked at wanted 2X the price, Dell included. I will shop here again .

Ascendtech was very helpful with questions that I had concerning a motherboard purchase. The site was easy to navigate and informational. I would shop with them in the future.

AscendTech technical support is excellent. They shipped my order on time, provided me with all the additional information I requested, and quickly answered all the questions I had. When I emailed them, the support person didn't just answer my questions but also suggested a number of possible solutions and was very proactive in the problem resolution process. Each response was timely and to the point.  
I'm definitelly shopping here again. I haven't seen such level of support in a long time. Keep up the good work guys!

I ordered a reconditioned eMachines computer. I phoned first with a couple of questions that were answered promptly and accurately. The computer arrived promptly and is as advertised including the new Windows 7 installation. I am completely satisfied.

As for the machine, it's great. The video driver provided by the MB people didn't work with XP Pro, but I was able to get the current one from nVidia. Perhaps it had something to do with the fact that in addition to that one, I had a PCI video card as well, but I find that hard to believe.  
The machine came VERY well packaged: extra packing material all over.  
It took a little longer than I thought to arrive. I ordered it on the 6th and it arrived on the 12th. I had expected (I don't know why) a 2-3 day delivery, since we're in the same state. When I emailed, they were courteous and gave good information.  
All in all, I was very satisfied with the purchase, and I will certainly consider this company first when I need a barebones PC.

I was looking for a specific mother board that has gone through many number changes that reflected significant changes in how it could be used from my standpoint. Other website kept displaying the wrong one and were out of stock on the model that I needed... This websit (AscendTech) had the coorect item rightaway at a good price..no bate and switch...Thanks
