I ordered a GP2X Wiz as well as an 8GB Kingston Micro SD HC card. Upon receiving the card it wouldn't work in any reader I had, including using it with the adapter it came with.
I chose to use kingstons RMA service as I've used it before and they have excellent support. I got a call back from kingston stating the card I got, that had the name on it was a fraud, some chinese ripoff. Told me about the missing markings from the genuine card so I looked it up, sure enough theres a couple markings missing including the 8GB tag as well as the class number 4 tag.
Consolesource.com is selling fraudulent SD cards and you can look up the pictures they have of theres and compare them to genuine kingston cards.
I was issued a full refund without having to send the product back but regardless, consolesource.com should be looking at there sources and products better. This isn't ebay.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.
I've been also trying to get them to replace my USB cable and I've been getting a run around like no tomorrow, there live chat isn't even part of consolesource.com, they refer to them as "them and they". They will have to do this, It's up to them to do such n such.
I still don't have a replacement USB cable for my GP2X.
I will also be contacting the authorities as well as making the reports about this on numerous boards as a warning.

I am very not impressed with my order so far. I did not receive and instructions with my 2 R4 Slot-1 All-In-One w/ 2GB Micro SD Cards that i ordered and no cases for them. And without the instructions i have not been able to figure out how to use them. I've found instructions on-line and tried to use them to try to figure it out and i still can't upload the files on to them to even get started to uploading games onto it. And i am usually very savy and can figure anything out, so far it seems that i just spent money i didn't have on something that is not working for me... Very upset.
I received the wrong case, and it was damged in shipping. Shipping took about twice as long as I expected. This is my first experience with the company, and at this point, I don't know if I would do business with them again.
This seller is full of crap. I TOLD them their description said the box was clear. They ignored what I said. I have said since the beginning that the case was damaged, and that is why I wanted my money back. BUYER BEWARE!

This customer has acknowledged he received the exact case he ordered. There has been no mention in prior communications of damage. However, a full damage claim can be put in with the shipper if this was indeed the case? This customer ordered March 23 and the package was delivered on March 31. Five business days in transit, just as advertised.
The reason for this review is to just get the word out on how truly terrible the customer service is for this retailer. I put in my order on March 11 and ended up choosing to cancel the order on March 27. My reason for canceling is partly due to the extremely slow service, but mainly because the guy (one single person from my experience) who runs this operation has the worst customer service skills I have ever seen. Honestly the people that gave the 5/5 reviews could not have dealt with this guy. Three times I called and spoke to the same person each time. The first time he told me that the products would be arriving soon. The second time he told me that the products HAD arrived, they were filling back orders and that I would receive my order within the next few days. The third time he told me that the the items HAD NOT come in and then asked me if I would like to cancel my order which I promptly did. I would have been very understanding if he had told me the truth, that there were some problems, the items would actually arrive in a couple weeks. If he had taken any responsibility and offered some encouragement to me that he had the situation under control then I definitely would have waited it out. All I can say is that if anyone decides to do business here, I hope you never have to interact with the guy that I did.

Indeed, the supplier was sending some mixed messages regarding stock of the backordered items in question. This info may have been inadvertently passed on to the customer. However, as soon as the customer expressed their desire to cancel the order a refund was issued ASAP.
DISSAPPOINTED I ordered five items from consolesource and two of the items came damaged, I ordered the Xbox 360 clear replacement shell, the see thru dvd drive lid, whisper fan, twilight flow, and aurora light kit. They had the crystal flow for the xbox 360 listed as "out of stock", so I ordered the twilight flow as a replacement since it was listed as "in stock" because I didnt want to wait. They take my money right away but when i go on the web site it said my order is queued. I ask them why it is taking so long for the order to be sent to me and they tell me THE TWILIGHT FLOW IS OUT OF STOCK! I only ordered the twilight flow because the item I originally wanted(the crystal flow) was listed as out of stock and the twilight flow was supposedly in stock. So I bought the more expensive item just so I could get it sooner and I still had to wait(took 2 weeks). When I recieved my products, the box they were shipped in was in very good condition, so I didnt expect anything to be damaged, but One of the plastic tabs on the replacement shell was broken. And one of the LED's on the aurora light kit was broken. So when I opened everything up and began installing it, I noticed that one of the LED's on the aurora was missing(looks like it broke off), so i looked at the packaging, it was smashed right about the same place where the LED was. But the outer package it was shipped in was fine so that leads me to the conclusion that this item was probably Broken before it was even shipped. Also my old Microsoft faceplate doesnt fit well with the Xcm Case(im just saying that so everey one else would take that into consideration when placing their orders)I placed a ticket and described my issue with the light kit and the broken piece and they got back to me right a few hours later and stated they would replace the damaged items at no cost to me, which is a big relief.
(edit) As soon as i recieve the replacements I will post it,
(edit 04/02/09) I recieved a replacement case for the broken case, and since they said they no longer carry the aurora light kit they said they would refund my money or give me credit towards another item. that was fine, I had them send me a blue core cooler. I get the items today and since My 360 has the extra heat sink, the core cooler will not fit. I called consolesource immediately and explained that on the website it says it is for the 360, I spoke to scott at consolesource and he spoke to me like I was some kind of an idiot. He asked me why I ordered the core cooler, they dont even make them anymore? WELL IF THEY DONT MAKE THEM ANYMORE, AND THEY DONT WORK WITH THE XBOX 360, THEN WHY WOULD YOU SELL IT TO ME SAYING IT WILL WORK WITH THE 360? I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND CONSOLESOURCE TO ANYONE

okay, I placed my order on 1/24/09 and I have yet to receive any response at all. My order has been "Queued" since about day #2. I've tried e-mailing and gotten no reply, so I've tried calling numerous times and have never gotten to a real person. In the mean time, my credit card has already been charged 1 1/2 weeks ago, and yet there has been no sign of any activity dealing with my order. Customer service is severely lacking here...
First off let me say the site is nicely done and all. Easy checkout system and reasonable shipping charges.
However this is my first time to place a order and I am not too pleased with the way it is going. I ordered a Black Ice Case for the Gamecube along with the security screwbit to open the gamecube case.
My order has been in queue since the day I placed it on 1-23-09. Come to find out the case is on back order and can take 2 to 3 weeks to ship out. The product information page clearly states it is in stock which is why I ordered it.... so I could have it fast.
They need to address this issue so allot of other people are not disappointed as I find myself now unable to complete my project for the next 2 - 3 weeks at least. If I had of know the above information I would have went somewhere else
I feel that I may be jumping the gun on this review, considering after numerous attempts to make phone contact over the past week, I've only just resorted to submitting a ticket online to ConsoleSource regarding my order last night. But judging by the reviews that have been posted on orders in the same time period as mine that have been positive, I'm wondering where mine went wrong.
I ordered a cyclods Evolution + 8gb card on Dec 26th. I placed the order while out of town, and it would still be several days before I got home. I let it slip my mind, expecting to be pleasantly surprised when I got home to see my order waiting there. I decided to check my order status online, and it says it's "Queued". The payment came out of my account immediately upon ordering. The item was and is in stock. No one answers the phone, so why have one? It has now been over a week that my order has been "Queued", and their own knowledge base quotes 24 hour turnaround on packaging and shipping out. Based on the non-existent communication, and the less than expedient order processing time (as in, it's still in process) Two thumbs way down. Biggest disappointment and waste of $85. I should have stuck with Divineo, which is who I ordered my first cyclo from.
It is now January 7th, and I've submitted two support tickets. I have yet to hear back on either of them, and the 800 number has gone from no answer to always busy during business hours. Is this how they deal with phone calls? Once people start calling wondering what the hell they paid for, they take the phone off the hook? This is seriously the worst customer service I've ever had to endure. Actually, that's giving it too much credit, as there has been NO customer service. Completely nonexistent. If this continues, I'm going to file a complaint with their local police considering I've essentially been robbed. They have my money. They haven't delivered anything or bothered to communicate with me in any way.

ConsoleSource.com was closed for the holidays from Dec. 23, 2008 until Jan. 5, 2009 all inclusive. This would explain why this customer's phone calls and email queries were not answered during that timeframe. This customer's online query was answered Jan. 8 indicating that his order has indeed been processed and would ship once all stock was secured. That was completed on Jan. 8 and the order shipped the same day.
The order is currently in transit and should be delivered according to CanadaPost's terms of service standards. Details can be attained here:
The delivery took forever, and the product didnt even work. I was very dissapointed with the time and product. It was overpriced and not worth the price that Console Source stamped it as. Also when i sent an e-mail about returning the item, i never got an answer back and it has been well over a year. Non-existent customer service
Worst experince ever. Item never arrived. I had to fill a claim with my credit card company in order to finally (after 3+ months) receive a refund of what I paid. Phone service is extremely poor. Email service is non-existent. They have a claim system that didn't worked for me. Filled a claim more than 3 times only to have them closed the next week. The only 2 times I was able to contact a representative, I was told the item shipped on different dates while the truth was the item never shipped (which was later confirmed by them upon giving my refund). Will never buy anything again.
I'm from Sydney Australia and I know I'm not entitled to the free 2GB micro sdcard, however I couldn't miss the oportunity to say how completely appalled I am by coonsolesources disgraceful customer service!!! At first the lack of response made me think that I had been taken by a scam and would never receive my mod chip. I had a look on google and other people had similar concerns, but after enough reading I saw some people claim that console was complete deficent in terms of customer service. Please google to see some of the feedback on how terrible their customer responses have been in relation to late shipping. When I actually spoke to somebody from console source on the chat facility, they off handedly said that the chip had been shipped yesterday without any recognition that it should have left two weeks before. With this kind of response I dread the thought of ever having a problem with any purchase and would never choose to do business with such an tardy non communitative bunch of people. I would appreciate knowing that my survey has been read and acknowledged so please let me know via email at payback0@utopia.cable.nu
I was unsure about the product I wanted to purchase. I logged into the online support system for additional information. They assured me that the product I was considering purchase was capable of performing a particular function. Upon receipt, I found that the product was not compatible with the application I was interested in. I contacted the company further and they were unwilling to make arrangements for fixing the problem. I told the support staff that I was upset and would no longer use their services. In addition, I had been letting friends and family know about the company because I felt they were reliable. I no longer advocate this company.
Complete dissapointing !
