I attempted to place an order for $362.01. Apparently, my credit card was declined or unauthorized (other purchases made the same day were successful) and my order was cancelled with no notification to me.  
 
I waited in vain for my product to arrive, until finally I telephoned them to ask for the tracking number. They informed me that the order was never shipped. I asked if they could simply re-execute the credit card transaction, and they informed me I must re-visit the web site and re-enter my entire order. They could not resurrect the existing order.  
 
I informed them that if I needed to visit a web site to get the order going again, I would be visiting another merchant's web site as they had wasted enough of my time already.  
 
I would not buy from KnowledgeMicro in the future, and recommend anyone else seriously consider whether they will get their product on time.

Very disappointed. This is my second attempt to  
order from KnowledgeMicro. First attempt was  
cancelled by them because they were out of stock.  
Second try failed too. I first called and they  
said they were waiting for stock, then I called  
today and they said that the shipping charge  
was wrong and they cancelled the order.

The product was very competively priced, the web page was clean, easy to navagate and all the automation tools I used, worked. Shipping costs were also reasonable. I'll be able to rate KnowledgeMicro more completely the next time I buy from them, which will be in the near future.

I can't believe I got my order the next day. Late afternoon on 4/24/03 I ordered a Logitech Elite Duo Cordless Mouse and Keyboard. By 11:00 the next morning I had it. Shipping was $1.29

I bought a Mother board, Case , Floppy drive and a Modem and asked for free assembly. The Package was shipped the same day(18th apr 2003) eventhough i order at the last minute of the Business day and a Friday. Deliverd as promised on 24 th. Only thing i did not like is the update of my shipping information. i have to call them and they gave the tracking number on 23rd. But i will Work with them again. Gave me a Great great Price. Little more on shipping but compard to price of products that is ok. they assembled the Product very welll and neatly. Well package. Great Seller

I give these folks the highest recommendation! This is my first order with Knowledge Micro and is the best of my last 7 online orders!  
 
Ordered 6 different items. All were correctly sent. Had to call first to find out a color - got the extra measure of help from Sue. Order received 4 days after I placed it online. Prices are also about the lowest overall.

I purchased an external hard drive enclosure from their website. I found it on Pricewatch and it had a lower shipping than the site said. After I had made my purchase, and received the email invoice I emailed them stating that I would like to receive the lower shippin rates that it had posted on Pricewatch. They credited my account immediately. The Delivery was very prompt via FedEx, and the item was packeged very well. The price for the item was the lowest anywhere. Definetely a very satisfied customer.

My first order was cancelled because they wouldn't ship to a different address than my billing address even though the address was on file with my bank. The order was not deferred, it was CANCELLED. After haggling with a sales rep who could barely speak english and having my calls and emails blocked, I resigned to reordering but the price had risen significantly. A few days later the price was down again (still higher than my first attempt) so I placed a new order and it too was cancelled because of miscommunication with my bank. I was polite, persistent and accomodating but apparently, knowledgemicro.com doesn't want my business.

There were THREE! Two of them are 235499 and 235500. I will guess the other one is 235498. Does this mean I get to vote three times?  
 
How about the ebay item number - 3412554195? How one winning bid turned into three seperate purchases is anybody's guess, but I now have to eat both the shipping charges for the two items I never ordered, but also the 15% restocking fee that customer service (or rather, no-service) informs me that I will still be charged for. The supervisor, of course, was in a meeting - how convenient!

My first attempt to order from this company ended with an e-mail two days later that my credit card was expired. I wanted these parts and tried again, after waiting for over a day for some acknowledgement of my order and repeated checking of my account and their website I figured I didn't have an order with them. Since time was an issue with this order I ordered the same items and received them before the weekend .  
I received an email confirming my previous order 2 days after I had tried to order. The website says it "may take up to a business day for the order to show"  
Six days after the order was shipped to me and the shipment hadn't arrived, that part doesn't bother me as much as when I requested an RMA they responded with one and gave me five days before it expired and it hadn't even got here yet. Also I was told they were charging me 15% restocking fee, this I feel is unfair as it is the inadequacy of their ordering system that has caused the problem of not being able to know if you have an order, time is money and they wasted mine with very unprofessional handling of the whole process. The email confirmation I finally received was indistinguishable from all the junk email a person gets as the senders name doesn't even mention the company, luckily I was checking and found it. Looked like junk mail (spam)  
 
I was able to refuse the shipment and Fed EX is returning it however I know it will not get there in five days!  
I am willing to pay for the shipping and handling but the restocking fee was used as an attempt to make me take the order as they are stiffing me for over $50.00 plus shipping and handling.  
The products are being returned, unopened and I haven't even seem them.  
I have shopped many on-line retailers and this is my worst experience ever, they have no concern for their customers and do not care about repeat business. I would not recommend this site to anyone I know.  
Reading through all the letters there seems to be a real trend of dissatisfied customers.  
 
Update May 5th 2003: It's now 2 weeks after the order was returned by Fed EX undelivered (verified-on-line tracking).This transaction started almost a month ago! I still have not received any credit on my charge account.  
They had no trouble billing me immediately. If I ever do see a credit they are charging me a 15% restocking fee for an item that was never delivered, plus shipping & handling.  
 
Next stop Master Card -customer service,  
then the Better Business Bureau  
 
 
Also I think the customer is always wrong mentality that shows in the responses posted to the dissatisfied customers just reinforces my statement that this company is one that's not worth dealing with.  
Go to New Egg or GoogleGear if you want customer service if something is wrong, their prices are about the same if not better and the service is outstanding  
Update 6/8/03  
Finally after almost 2 months I have a credit - minus what looks like more than 15% and only after the help of my credit card company.  
 
Instead of giving me a credit at first they charged me again a $206.00 charge appeared on my statement even though I was still waiting for a credit they promised a month earlier.  
 
This company doesn't care about it's customers! and I believe that half of the positive reviews here are made up by the staff- what a joke!

According to our database, you placed your first order on 4/9/03 and the order was voided due to you have provided an expired credit card. You placed another order on 4/10/03 and it was shipped out on 4/10/03. You have selected Fedex home delivery which will take 5-7 business days to arrive. Although, we did stated on our website that it might take up to a business day for the order to show up, but we did our best to ship out your package on the same day. Once the Fedex got the package, it is beyond our control when the package will arrive in your hand. Next time, if you need your package in a rush, maybe try to select Fedex 3 days or 2 days services.
