I will not order from these people again.  
I ordered an item on 4/25/03 and printed the invoice and web page out. The freight on Pricewatch which was listed at $4.86 to $9.24 had risen to a minimum of $23.82 on the website.  
They emailed a shipping confirmation. When I tried to access that link it could not find the order. I called customer service and got Sophia. Sophia said they were out of stock, that they would get more in a couple of days or I could order something else.  
By 5/09/03 I still had not received the order or heard back from them. I called customer service to check the status of the order.  
When I called the price had "gone up". I was told that they would not be honoring the invoice. The customer service rep would not provide his name.  
I have reported the details of this transaction to the Texas Attorney General's office.

knowledgemicro is probably my favorite online computer hardware retailer. They have consitantly good prices and reliable shipping.  
 
I have ordered from them several times in the past two years and have had no problems with any of my orders.  
 
I have built 4 complete systems for myself and my family from hardware purchased at knowledgemicro and I have yet to have a any hardware prove defective.  
 
I have no experience with customer service or tech support as all of my orders have been prompt in shipping and complete.  
 
All boxes I have received from them have been packed VERY well.

At the end of Dec 2002 I was looking for a new Samsung combo drive that hit the market, the SM-348B. I browsed the net a bit and found KnowledgeMicro to be the only ones to have the drive. Not only that but they were selling it a lot cheaper than other sites that were still awaiting shipment. So I called in and spoke to someone to make sure it was not an error. They verified its OK so I ordered.  
I was expecting to recieve on Jan 7, 2003, and I did. Drive worked, I was happy. I love this drive. Check them out.

This is the second time we buy, the first one we had the wrong number of items shipped but the problem was solved.

Purchased from vendor via ebay sent company an email asking a couple questions they told me to go to there website and purchase the item instead of answering my questions. My question s were what all was in cluded and when do they exspect to ship my item as i have already made payment

I purchased a Intel processor from them, but I then found that there were many complaints against them at resellerratings.com AND EVEN MORE IMPORTANTLY they had an unsatisfactory rating at the Better Business Bureau (see the Better Business bureau website listing for them at: http://www.bbbsilicon.org/common.html?location=/home/common/www/bindr/report.php&bureau=sanjose&compid=211721).  
 
At that point I decided to see if I could cancel my order and eat the re-stocking fee if any. They are listed on their web site as phone no (408)-941-8222, street address 2075 N. Capitol ave, San Jose, CA. They didn't pick up their phone, and I began to panic.  
 
Since they wouldn’t pick up their phone, knowing only their physical street address, in desperation I used a mapping program to look for anyone else listed at their street address of 2075 N. Capitol ave, San Jose, CA. I saw the listing MA Labs, and out of desperation went to the MA Labs website, obtained the MA Labs phone number (408)-941-0808 and called them. They promptly switched me to a KnowledgeMicro representative identifying herself as Sophia Kim (ext 401). It was a bit difficult to talk to her (I asked her her last name and after 3 tries I thought she said "Kin" but I found out later it was "Kim."  
 
She was pleasant enough and agreed to refund my money to my credit card and agreed to send me an email confirming our conversation. Several hours later when I did not receive the email I called back (I had to call back the MA labs phone number again to get through) and was switched again by MA labs to another KnowledgeMicro representative who could barely speak english, and eventually transferred me to Sophia. I waited on the phone while Sophia sent another email, the confirmation that my order had been canceled and my money refunded.  
 
Out of interest, I analyzed at the extended header on the email Sophia sent me, and discovered another IP address within the KnowledgeMicro email header for another company called 9wisdom.com, and sure enough at the 9wisdom.com website they have the same phone number as the KnowledgeMicro, which is (408)-941-8222 (the KnowledgeMicro phone that they don’t pick up). I also notice in the email header there is listed “194.malabs.com” so I suspect the companies are related, and called MA labs to see. The explanation I received from MA Labs didn’t convince me one-way or the other. By the way MA labs has a notice on their web site that they are moving on May 1st 2003 to 17901 East Ajax Circle, City of Industry, CA 91748.  
 
I would not recommend a company like this.

UPDATE: They sent the item even after they said they canceled my order and wouldn't send it. I refused the delivery from FedEx.  
 
I then tried calling Sophia at KnowledgeMicro (naturally by having to use the MA Labs phone number) to inquire why I was sent the item after she specifically said my order was canceled. I got a recording at her extension saying she wasn’t there and her mailbox was full so I couldn't leave a message. Par for the course I guess.

I placed my order 7 days ago. Still no response from the company. No one answers the phone. I cancelled my order. This company sucks. Newegg.com already got my parts here4 days after I ordered. This company sucks. I will tell all my friends to avoid this company.

I ordered 512.51 in computer merchandise. Found them through Price Watch and their web site prices met the prices on PW. I do all my buying over the web. Without question this has been the best experience ever. FedEx delivered on Saturday with everything in perfect shape and just as I ordered. The web site is so easy to use. I will go to KM first for all my future computer orders. Highly recommend them to anyone.

Ordered a low-profile heatsink/fan on eBay from Knowledge Micro, sent them payment right away, and they shipped my item right away. I highly recommend them as a fast, reliable seller!

Received dead motherboard. Shipped back to seller at cost of $30. Received same dead motherboard back. Not at all happy. Would not do business with this seller again.

Excellent supplier. Knowledgemicro.com has an amazingly intuitive web interface and system, fast response to enquiries, immediate dispatch of products and finally, very careful packaging.  
I would recommend this supplier to anyone.

I bought 1GB of samsung PC3200 memory priced very competitively. Items arrived exacly as expected and fast. I just bought a samsung cd-rw/dvd from them and plan on buying some speakers also. I dont know why so many people had problems with this company. They seem very proffessional and provide good service. Thank KM!

I purchashed a motherboard from knowledgemicro.com that was clearly listed as having onboard RAID. I eventually received a completely different motherboard that had no RAID at all. After a series of frustrating e-mails with a person who obviously doesn't quite understand English (and insisted that the item description which said "RAID" and had pictures of a motherboard with RAID on it did not mean the board had RAID), I was given an "RMA number" and told that I had to have the package in his hands in 5 days or else I would not be able to return the motherboard. And even though the person initially agreed to refund my return shipping costs, it was a serious hassle getting him to first refund ANYTHING, then he refunded the original cost but not my return shipping costs, then finally after more e-mail I got the return shipping costs back. I'm relieved that knowledgemicro.com DID take the incorrect item back and refund all of my money (as could reasonably be expected), but it goes without saying that I will NEVER do business with these people again, and I don't recommend anyone else do so either.

I attempted to place an order for $362.01. Apparently, my credit card was declined or unauthorized (other purchases made the same day were successful) and my order was cancelled with no notification to me.  
 
I waited in vain for my product to arrive, until finally I telephoned them to ask for the tracking number. They informed me that the order was never shipped. I asked if they could simply re-execute the credit card transaction, and they informed me I must re-visit the web site and re-enter my entire order. They could not resurrect the existing order.  
 
I informed them that if I needed to visit a web site to get the order going again, I would be visiting another merchant's web site as they had wasted enough of my time already.  
 
I would not buy from KnowledgeMicro in the future, and recommend anyone else seriously consider whether they will get their product on time.

Very disappointed. This is my second attempt to
