Call them up , nobody pick up the phone, finally reach somebody, said out of stock, ask me if can wait or cancel the order. i ask why nobody contact me for this issue if i am not call them first. It seems they don't care customer, then i won't care them either! DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

DON't BUY any thing from this merchant!
They sent me a defective product, their online RMA system doesn't work.
Try to contact them in the last 4 days, no response at all!

I ordered a Soyo Dragon 2 Motherboard Sy-P4I875P
which was received damaged from Fed-Ex on Jul 2, 2003. I Contacted Knowledgemicro, after speaking with Soyo tech support, and was told a new board would be shipped out after they received an e-mail w/photos showing the shipping damage. I sent the E-mail to support@knowledgemicro.com and waited a week and did not recieve my replacement. I was then told I had to wait 2 weeks for fed-ex to schedule a pickup -- I called fed-ex and they picked up & examined the item on july 15 and returned it to knowledgemicro on july 23 2003. I contacted Knowledge micro again and a week later they still refuse to either credit back my visa or ship me a replacment product -- they say they are evaluating it. The shipping carton had a foot sized hole in it which hit the motherboard directly - what is there left to evaluate? Fex-ex has, as I understand it already paid them for the loss. I get a different story every time I call, that is when they do answer their phone. I'm out $192.51 for the board & $36.43 for shipping.
I've ordered a replacement from another vendor for $215.11 w/Fed-ex overnight shipping. This seller is clearly at the bottom of the food chain and is to be avoided at all cost! For $700+ comercial order you would think they would be more helpfull, but I guess not. I've notified my comercial visa of this fraud and will file a claim, I guess with vendors like this the $50,000 in fraud protection comes in handy. Beware DO NOT buy from KnowledgeMicro!

Buyers beware.... this seller sends defective warez then refuses to RMA and stops communication. Refused to respond Square Deal and took me for over $100. Had me return the unit, then refused the RMA, then didn't return the unit or refund my money. Never heard from them again despite several attempts. This is what they warn you about online purchases.

My worst experience so far. I have never come across such an unprofessional team. I ordered a laptop worth $1700 it took a month of repeated telephone calls(never returned) and emails (which were never answered except on three occassions) to hear to different stories every time and ultimately for me to be able to cancell my order. It took another 2 weeks to confirm that actually my order has been cancelled at last as i was given a different story on every phone call that i made to follow up. Apart from a couple of times it seemed everyone in the sales department was trying to con me and on two occassions actually laughing at the situation! Only got confirmation of cancellation after i repeatedly threatened to complain and involve my credit card company. I am still waiting for my money to be returned. I feel really disgusted and angry the way they handled all this. I would advise avoid any business with them or be prepared to face the worst.

I orderd 4 ABIT NF7 motherboards.Package came...no damage until I opened it. One box was crushed.Motherboard was damaged.I called for Rma#.
I sent the damaged motherboard right back. It cost me $12.00. I assembled the other 3 systems. I had trouble getting the 3rd system to work. Finally the replacement motherboard came after waiting 16 days from the time they received it from me. I changed motherboards with the system I could not get to work. It was a bad motherboard also.I contacted Knowledgemicro and they told that because it was past 30 days I would have to contact ABIT to exchange it.Went online for RMA# With ABIT. They told me that because the motherboard did not have a SERIAL NUMBER I would have to pay $25.00 to exchange the motherboard.
Somewhere along the line it looks like I got a REFERBISHED motherboard for the price of a new one.

Ordered a case for $25.00 after website advertised free fed ex ground shipping. Here is the e-mail I received the next day:
Dear customer,
The total cost for your order should be $29.95 as we advertised on pricewatch.com. This includes the cost for the item $25 and the shipping fee $4.95. We didn’t charge you for the $4.95 shipping fee on your original web invoice because our system was updating at that time. It didn’t add the shipping fee to the total. If you still want to purchase this item, you need to pay the total of $29.95. Please reply to this email as soon as possible so that we can process your order.
Knowledge Micro Express, Inc.
Website still has lots of items w/ free fed ex shipping, but seller demands money for shipping now. Beware of this online store!

Ewiz/Superbiiz/MaLabs whatever you want to call them... I have been using this company for a number of years as a system builder and now just fooling around helping friends.
Here is the thing about MaLabs, as a provider to the VAR/OEM market they are OK, there prices are usually a little better than you can do elsewhere and there tech support people are willing to answer questions, and the sales staff will bend over backwards to expedite your order.
But that is where the good ends. If you ever have to RMA, DO NOT hold your breath waiting for it. They literraly make you ship the item back to them, then they will ship the item to the manufacture and once they have your replacement from the manufacture then they will send it back to you. I would typically wait 8-10 weeks for a motherboard to be replaced. Imagine trying to run a business where your major distributor dealt this way. Oh and I don't think they know the meaning of "I want my damn money back".
Seems they have carried these policies over to there retail website at ewiz. Plus at ewiz you get to wait for days on end before they ever ship your product. Funny thing is they have wharehouses in Atlanta and New Jersey, but being the ultra tight wads that they are good luck on getting a shipment from somewhere close to where you live.
Bottom line is if you can live with the longer than expected wait for your products, and if the products you buy will honor RMA's direct from the end user, you can save a few dollars buying from these guys. If not and customer service is what you are really after then go to Newegg, or Zipzoomfly, or Directon, or Mwave.... You get the idea. This review was modified by its author, woodscomp, on

Purchased a Sound Blaster Audigy 2 card from their ebay auction site. The item arrived within a week, but the firewire connection was defective. Emailed the company twice for a return authorization, and received no response. Did not want to leave comment on ebay until issue was resolved, but after requests for return were ignored, I left negative feedback. The next day, I received an RMA form. Their return policy is ludicrous and nearly impossible for the average consumer to adhere to. I only had 4 days to return my item to their facility in CA, and I live in MD, so I was forced to spend more money sending the package 2nd day so it would arrive before the deadline. Once the item was returned, I tried contacting them to find out how long it would be before I got a replacement or a refund. Over a month went by, with three phone calls and three emails (no reply to any). A complaint to the California Attorney General's Office finally got some action, I received confirmation that the item had been shipped, and I received it a week later in working order. I will never do business with Knowledge Micro again.

It was great!, It's very fast and you get everithing you ask for and it's very organized.
My Experience was perfect, in less than 48Hrs after I ordered, I recieved what i asked for in perfect shape, very well protected and nicely wraped, plus you can get very good deals.
What I liked the most is how you can track exacly where your package is, from the moment is shipped till you get it on your hands.

BUYER BEWARE! I am a computer retailer. I found this company by doing a price search and they had a 3 star rating on CNet. I purchased a Zip750 internal drive. It arrived defective. The appearance of the drive was fine but non-functional. I asked for an RMA. They stated it would take 2 to 4 weeks to replace the drive. I opted to pay their 15% restocking fee and return the drive for a refund. When I received their email containing the RMA it stated I only had 5 days from the date of issue to return the drive. This was NOT a typo as they listed the RMA issue date as 7-11-03 and the date after which the return would be refused as 5 days later. This was stated twice in their email. Their RMA form specifically states you have 15 days to return the product. Now that I spent $26.83 on UPS next day freight from Virginia to California and they have received the drive I have a new problem. Knowledge Micro now states that the drive "appears" to be missing a part. It is NOT missing anything. They now refuse to refund my money and insist they will only replace the drive. I can not wait 2 weeks for the replacement and in fact have already replaced the drive with another solution for my customer. If you do business with this company you are asking for trouble!!! I have owned and operated a computer retail store for 9 years. I've bought millions of dollars worth of products for my customers and I have RARELY encountered such a hateful and crooked company.

I purchased 2 items from Knowledge Micro on eBay - an Abit IS7 motherboard, and a Pentium 4 2.4GHz 800FSB processor. I used Buy it Now on both within minutes of each other, and did a funds transfer from my bank account.
I waited a day or two to ask for tracking numbers, towhich I never received a response. After a while, I did get the automated mails with my tracking information. Both orders were placed just after midnight Pacific Time on Thursday the 17th. I paid extra for FedEx 2 day shipping on both. Neither left their warehouse until Monday, the 21st.
One order actually got the 2 day shipping I paid for, the other was shipped FedEx home delivery. I will get neither package until over a week after I ordered it.
I sent an email to support@knowledgemicro.com, customercare@knowledgemicro.com, and sales@knowledgemicro.com requesting a refund of the upgraded shipping charges. No response.
So, to sum it up, not only were my orders not combined into one shipment, they weren't even processed the same day, regardless of the fact that they were made about 5 minutes apart. The payment was made to their terms for faster shipment, the invoice I received indicated I paid for faster shipment, but instead, I got slower shipment. And to top it all off, their communication isn't bad - it doesn't exist at all. There is no way I, or anyone I know, for that matter, will ever make another purchase from Knowledge Micro.
Now, I just have to hope and pray my items do not arrive DOA - I bought two brand new retail packaged units, but only time will tell, right? This review was modified by its author, wmichaelis, on

Dear Customer,
According to our record, FedEx picked up both shipments on 7/18/03. We did receive your e-mail regarding refund on the upgraded shipping charges and we went ahead credited the difference. It does take up to 24 hours before the credit will show up on your account statement. Thank you

DO NOT buy anything from them!! I had my worst experience with them. I ordered an Inkjet color refill kit from them. First of all, there were only two (2) color ink bottles in the package. After talk with customer service people over there, they agree send the third color to me at the day. Two weeks later, I called them again, and was told that I made the wrong order myself. I have to pay the shipping fee plus 15% re-stock fee to get the replacement. I have to take the responsibility of the mistake they made.

I placed an order for a motherboard, processor, ram, case, and heatsink/fan - got it in a somewhat timely manner. (FedEx "Home Delivery" sucks... just get ground or air.)
Put it all together, wouldn't work. Tried different RAM (my new ram in different slots, roomies ram in new board, my new ram in her computer (which booted fine). Tried switching power supply. Tried reseating processor. Nothing worked. Called Tyan tech support, tech said it sounded like board was bad after I explained to him the situation and we went though a few checks.
Okay, well I couldn't wait 14 days or so for another board - needed my computer to work so I could work. Went to local store, bought an AOpen (bleh) and dropped the stuff in, and it has been running like a charm.
I (after 3 attempts) finally was able to get an RMA number from KnowledgeMicro, but they want to charge me 15% for a restocking fee. On a motherboard that doesn't work? Give me a break. I've been trying to get in touch with them to see about the fee being waived since the board is defective, and they have been very unhelpful. I've been told I would be called back three times now, which hasn't happened. I've sent 5 or 6 emails which have been responded to with such replies as "Dear Customer, please send package ASAP."
