Do not order from them. There are plenty of resellers who are more trustworthy. Their return policy is terrible and unscrupulous. They will not comply with their return policy and seem to do whatever they can to avoid refunds.

First of all, their shipping service and the way they process the orders is extremly slow.
I purchased a gtx 260, gigabyte motherboard, a phenom x2 cpu on august 14th 2009.
and it took them 3 days to pack the package the send it out.
after that, it arrived at August 24th, 2009, that is a total of 10 business days!! from CA to NY, that is completely unacceptable!!
Second of all, their product have serious problem. After I received my package and upgraded my computer, I was not able to power it up. When I check the hardware 1 by 1. I found that the video card had a corrupted GPU. And the motherboard also doesn't power up at all. That's right, 2 out of 3 items were in bad condition. I mean I am not buing any refrubished items. I shouldn't having any chance of getting any broken item. their items are really horrible. So I decided to return all of them and demand a refund.
Third of all, their returning policy is a BS. So, I emailed to them and said that I want a REFUND. And I also shipped the items back to them by fedex. Not to mention that they do not give back the returning shipping fee. They even do not give back the refund for the shipping fee that I orginally paid for the items. After they received my items, it took them 5 days to test them. yes 3 days, if I am the technichan, it takes less than 1 hour to test them all. And you need 3 days for that? maybe you should fire your technichans and hire me instead. Later, they sent a email to me and say that the RMA apartment approved the refund. I was like OK, Finally. Now it takes them 8 business day to give me the refund credits of only 2 items. And they send back the cpu to me. I was like WDF. I have told them that I want a refund for ALL 3 items no matter the cpu is in bad condition or no. Now, they just ignored me? what is this about? you don't understand english huh?
DO NOT BUY FROM THEM UNLESS YOU ARE SURE THE ITEMS WILL HAVE NO PROBLEM BECAUSE THEY HAVE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICES.

The customer returned a Retail CPU that was opened and used. We also tried to explain the turnaround time- that his item is not the only shipment we receive daily but he refused to understand. |

Pros.
Good pricing, lot's of selection.
Cons.
Slow To Ship out the door.
Did not ship the same day. Ordered pretty early in the day. Even made it to the Warehouse, but didn't ship till the following day.
Bad Packing.
The memory was packed well in a seperate box & sealed shut, placed inside the larger box.
But the Power Supply (InWin) was placed in a Seasonic box /w no packing. You could literally pick up the box and turn it over slowly and hear it move 4-5in. "Clunk, Clunk!".
We'll see if it survives, if it doesn't I'll just RMA it through InWin. This review was modified by its author, ynotcomputing, on

Bottom line is this merchant is shady as hell. What kind of business gives itself multiple names? Buy at your own risk. I ordered a new motherboard which turned out to be a used one repackaged. This was obvious because it arrived filthy and opened. I have photos of it before I spent 30 minutes cleaning it with brasso and alcohol. The board would POST with my existing hardware but it would not let me install video drivers once I installed Win7 or XP. I did everything I could and ended up bricking the motherboard thanks to the piece of crap MSI webpage + BIOS mess. I've flashed dozens of BIOSes, by listing the wrong ones MSI sure made it simple to brick this board. Their BIOS recovery method is poorly documented, it's not in the manual, I had to spend an hour online in their forums to find the information. Of course following the directions step by step yielded no result. The board is toast. Now I instructed ewiz in the RMA message that I removed the serial number sticker and placed it in the manual because it was this giant 3x3" sticker insulating the bottom of the board. So even though their return warehouse is less than 10 miles from my house I still had to pay $7 shipping because they refused to let me drop it off as a package. So days later they send some courier down to my house to hand me the motherboard back. No RMA, no refund because the serial sticker isn't where it should be; all over the motherboard. I've done the wise thing now and ordered a reliable brand like Asus from a reliable store. (Store named removed due to the Customer Service Conspiracy Act of 2009) I guess I have to battle MSI now so my money wasn't just handed to ewiz with nothing to show for it. Dear Customer,
We apologize that you are unsatisfied with your shopping experience. In almost all industries, the removal of a product's serial numbers will automatically void its warranty. Without a serial number it is impossible to tell where and when the product was purchased, even the manufacturers of the unit won't honor any warranty if the serial number sticker is removed. While we do apologize that we cannot honor your request, we have confirmed that the unit that sold was brand new as it is strictly against our company policy to sell a refurbished product as brand new. Please let us know if you have any questions. Thank you.

E-wiz/Superbiiz RMA/customer service does NOT fulfill their promise I strongly recommend buyers seek other suppliers. Buying from this company has cost me far more time, trouble and money than if I had bought from most any supplier. Manufacture more responsive to customer than supplier, this is unacceptable

I ordered an Acer netbook from these guys on August 10th and the money was immediately taken out of my banking account (debit card). Several hours later I recive an email from Lynn telling me that the item is out of stock and it would be next week before the netbooks come back in....or she offers a refund. I opt for the refund since I can't wait a week to hope the laptops even come in, and now I have to wait 3-5 days for the money to get back in my bank account so I can reorder. I check online to see that netbook in question is still IN STOCK and FOR SALE on their website....what is up with that? I was told there is a 5min delay in their stock order verification vs the charges, but obviously something is more screwed up on their end than that. I googled Ewiz/SuperBiz/NewBiz and found tons of other people with the same set of problems and issues. I will be sticking to the other big etailers from now on, instead of taking chances on companies with bad customer service. How about don't charge me for something unless you're sure it can ship out? How about offering the customer a viable replacement after realizing the inconvenience? Is that too much to ask for? Now I see why you keep changing your name. Paid extra for priority shipping but item was shipped in a padded envelope using first class postage. I ship on a regular basis and know postage for a 4 oz package is less than $2.00 versus the $7.45 I paid. Will not be ordering from this company again.

Send me opened CPU fan (factory plastic packaging torn open), and dead CPU. Taking their sweet time to get me an RMA. I'd recommend shopping else-where.

This company is a joke, I wish I had never found them. Maybe I can save other people the trouble though.
I ordered a Promise FastTrak RAID controller card from eWiz on May 8th, it shipped on the 11th. I got the card, used it for all of two weeks, then decided I didn't need it for my setup. The only thing I used was the card, I never took out the manual or cables. I requested an RMA from eWiz online, and got a call from them shortly afterwards. I spoke with a person named Rocky who, in my eyes, basically tried to scare me into not returning the card. He said I had to have the card back at eWiz before the 10th, which would be my 30 days. The website says the item simply has to be returned in 15 days, so who's right?
The card ended up getting back there on 10th, it took eWiz all of 12 days to examine it, and I got an e-mail. They said they were denying my refund because the PCI card bracket had a miniscule scratch on the top, which on the picture they included looked like it was about 1/8" long. They denied the refund because of this scratch and claimed the card was not in unused condition. The fact that they considered that a deniable cause is mind boggling. I replied promptly to the e-mail (which was sent by Rocky) stating the other problem I had with this was the fact that the product was not sealed from the manufacturer, so this "micro-scratch" may not even be from me. It could be from another customer who bought and returned the card and it some how got past returns the first time. Well, I never got a response from the e-mail, or a call, but the card eventually turned up back on my doorstep, thanks for nothing eWiz. I should have known from the start, from the fact that they charge a 15% restock fee even when they require the product to be sealed/unused. 15% for someone to take 30 seconds to place it back into the inventory system? What a scam. Other retailers charge a similar fee, but at least they will take back open box items.
Now I'm stuck trying to sell this card over the web, as I have no use for it. Take my advice, don't be suckered by eWiz, or the other two aliases they sell under, because once they have your money, you don't mean a thing anymore.

Dear Customer,
Thank you for your feedback. We apologize that you are unsatisfied with your transaction with us. However our return policy indicates that non-defective returns are only accepted on brand new units without any physical markings or broken seals. Since this unit was previously installed and had a screw mark across the top of the bracket, we can only provide for you a refund if the unit is defective or misadvertised. Thank you. |

Ordered a CPU from them on the 17th, it arrived on the 24th a Friday, now 7 days seems quite slow for shipping as most items I've ordered arrive from Ca in 3-4 days tops but no problem I can deal with that however when i get home I find the package is not waiting for me because they require a signature for the package to be left...
I contact UPS and they tell me the earliest I can pick it up is Monday the 27th. I couldn't wait this long so purchased a CPU locally. Put in for an RMA with EWiz explained the situation, told them the package they sent me was still sealed and they reply stating they will charge me a 15% restocking fee to return the item. So now for a $265 CPU I have to give them 40 dollars to take it back when I never even opened the package... .
I have never had a company charge me a restocking fee for an unopened item before therefor I will never do business with this company again Very slow shipping and very poor service they even put a note on the email they sent stating not to respond to it and giving no alternate email to respond to so I cannot even discuss the restocking fee with them.
Never ordering from Ewiz again.

It was ok. Took 7 days to deliver (i am in midwest), which is fine - not the best, but fine. There were some software problem with their system so they could not email me a tracking number. This review was modified by its author, xalexandersun, on

I have ordered from Ewiz a number of times and while their prices are quite excellent, this isn't what this review is about.
My most recent order included a 6GB set of Super Talent DDR3 RAM. The RAM package was placed into a box smaller than the RAM package itself causing the plastic RAM package to be bent to an extent of it opening. When I opened the box I found all three sticks of RAM freely lying around as a result of the broken packaging. I don't know about you but I will not accept RAM that has been banged up during shipping.
Now Ewiz does offer a return service but I have to pay shipping to ship the item back. They will then most likely send another set in an undersized box. Just a big waste of money and time. I have honestly never seen such amateur packaging from a company in my years of online shopping. This review was modified by its author, ancalime, on

This company has poor communications: Their website states:
OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE
We put our customers first. Our qualified sales and customer service team are available to provide our customers with expert product selection assistance and support. We try to keep an open dialogue with our customers, so feedback and suggestions are always welcomed and highly appreciated."
Ya right, I purchased a video card in January, 1 day later the price dropped, I email and asked for a refund of the difference, no reply at all. Calling is hopeless because your always stuck on hold.
Also after I originally ordered the card (tried to have it shipped to my office) they sent me an email telling me my CC did not have that address on file, which is total BS because I have items shipped to my office all the time using the same CC and I've talked to Amex multiple times and my office is listed as a secondary address. I also had ordered from Ewiz before and they also shipped to my office, not sure what made this any different.

Good product selection and low prices, but poor, outsourced customer service with horrendous return policies. Be warned: if you must return an item for any reason, expect to lose a good deal of your purchase price. For example, after needing an exchange on an external enclosure -- $24 with shipping and tax -- I was only credited with $13 as a refund. And that's not including the $6 I also had to spend to ship my item back. So out of $30 spent total, I got $13 back! Only order from eWiz if you are 100% positive you will not need a refund or exchange.
