They have good products BUT thier delivery times are the worst I have expierienced. Ordered an order of calbes and switches on Monday and will not recieved until a weeek latter. On the same day and time ordered a NAS drive form buy.com and it was at my office the next day, less than 12 hours from ordering and to add insult buy did not charge for shipping. I really wish monoprice would do something or talk to UPS. They are losing buisness and causing customers to find other suppliers. Mono you should fix this if you do not want your competitors taking away your customers. Still waiting for my order as I write.

Status shows shipped, overniteexpress.com says the tracking # never registered in their system, no phone call from monoprice.com regarding issue.  
Cables were to be drop-shipped to a customer of mine, they never received them. Should have stuck with cat5ecableguy.com as you can call them and speak with a human right away.  
 
Very unhappy customer right now.

I am EXTREMELY disappointed and frustrated withMonoPrice. They caused me a HUGE inconvenience by misrepresenting their stock levels. In addition to this, I placed this order and paid extra for Overnite delivery and they sent me an email telling me it would be delivered today. I received no delivery today, and then they bother to contact me at 3:58 pm to ask me what to do about their frigin stock problem? I now have to go down to a local store and purchase a replacement for their f- up at full retail and kiss any margin I have on this item goodbye. I also need to explain to my client why none of the things I ordered from them were able to get installed because guess what, they didn't send them "Overnite". MonoPrice has royally screwed up!!! I have been purchasing quite a bit from them lately and was planning on structuring some of my operations around using their services. Well they can forget that now. MonoPrice has proven itself to be unreliable and I can't work with that when I am guaranteeing myself to be reliable to my clients.  
 
Great pricing guys but f- up service!

I recently purchased 5 highend HDMI cables from monoprice. I had read many good things about both their products and customer service. Upon installing one of the HDMI cables, it actually made the picture on my HD TV a bit worst. I reinstalled the thinner gauge monoprice cable that came with the Verizon FIOS cable box, and the picture improved. I did this a couple of times to be sure the new cable fit properly. Each time the result was the same.  
 
I requested and RMA number and got an email from Customer Service Rep. Howard Hong. Howard wanted to debate the fact the cables worked and was not inclinded to take the cables back. I explained the situation and he wanted to debate the fact that their cables cannot make a picture worse as the HDMI signal being digital either works or it does not. After a series of 4 emails back and forth with Howard becoming more combative each time, I stated all I wanted to do was return the cables. I had tried one and the others had not been opened. He finally agreed to allow the RMA return. TO add insult to injury, 2 days later I got another very long email from Howard explaining I could not possibly have seen a degradation and included 5 weblinks to prove it.  
 
Howard forgot one factor. Surrounding signal RF interferance and a potential of faulty cable construction on the performance of the cable. But he wanted to prove that he was right and the customer was wrong.  
 
I will not buy from monoprice ever again.

Avoid this company! The product advertised was NOT described correctly and the tech and customer service "live chat" was completely unhelpful and useless. Several email exchanges showed that they were not listening to what went wrong and they (surprise) did not post my honest reivew of the company or product on their website. Beware of their product rankings...they only post what they want you to see. The company encouraged me to waste another 40 bucks on shipping on another product that would take 5 days to get to me (well past me project date). The worst online experience EVER!

Not worth it! This company is very difficult to order from. They do not keep sufficient inventory on hand of common items or uncommon items both. It is a first come first serve environment and one's window of opportunity is about 2 nanoseconds. They are constantly out of stock on the majority of items one tries to order. They offer the opportunity of receiving Email alerts when an item comes back into stock, but it does not help because by the time one receives the alert to place the order, the item is gone again even if one places their order immeadiately following the email alert!  
I can not speak to the quality of thier products as I have been trying to place an order for 30 days now and still no success.  
Their customer service is worthless as well.  
If you want to order one piece at a time, can move faster than anyone else and want to pay high shipping costs by doing so than order from this company, but your not saving any money. If you don't like practicing frustration, have a real need for any of these items and want to get something going then you are better off even shopping at an upscale electronics store and paying $100 for your HDMI cable and what have you. At least you stand a chance of actually purchasing and receiving your product in a physical store.

While it is not our intention to have limited products at any given time, it is unfortunate that we can not keep our supplies in hand to meet with the demands for our products.  
 
We are aware of this issue and taking neccessary measures to reduce/eliminate the down time of product being out of stock. Such as expanding warehouse space, limiting a sale per quantity so that number of limited customer does not buyout any of particular item and have the item available for everyone as long as possible, increasing the purchasing volume and the earlier order of the low inventory items.  
 
Even with these precautionary steps, we are still facing the same issue, and we are continuing to look for other possible ways to reduce these hassle.  
 
I understand that shipping is one of the major concerns as our customer would have to make multiple orders if a particular item they need might not be available with others.  
 
If you can provide me with a shopping cart of the items you are interested in purchasing as well as the item which you are unable to order, I will be able to get back to you to see if there is anything that I can do to fulfill your order without paying multiple shipping costs.

Monoprice won't post my review on their website because I'm not giving 9 or 10 of 10 rating. Now I understand why all you can see on the product page is 10 of 10!!! That really annoys me. When I purchased the product (HDMI cable), I relied on excellent reviews and I didn't know I'm looking at biased and censored reviews.  
Update 2/24/09: As of now they haven't posted my review but posted another 10 of 10 review!!

Same day shipping my ass I got a shipped notice on the 5th then on the 7th I got a notice that it will not ship until the 21st so which is it? either way they are lying. The two weeks wait kinda kills the point of the priority shipping I paid for.

poor service...on the website, it says 3-4 business days for USPS priority...emailed twice after waiting for a week from shipping date...no response...called-put on hold for long time...got standard excuse-"wait for 8 more business days and call back"...excuses, excuses...no resolution nor discount.  
UPDATE: After the above posting, shipping charges were refunded.

Wanted to buy a USB cable for my new Razr2 V9. Ordered it 11 days ago. Got an immediate shipping notice. Was ecstatic. Fast forward to today, July 3rd. Still nothing. Looked up USPS tracking# and it said they were notified to expect shipping but that was all. Doesn't even look like the item shipped yet. Looked through their store tonight and see it's out of stock. So what seems to have happened is that the item was out of stock, someone screwed up and did not update the site, let my order go through, AND never even let me know if my item was out of stock. Am I just supposed to sit here and wait and am responsible for finding out whether it's out of stock or not when I've already gotten a shipment confirmation?? Completely ridiculous. Would not order from them again.

So i've been a customer of monoprice since 2003 and have tons of easily successful orders with them. the most recent before my nightmare was in april and everything was smooth sailing even with a new mailing address. i decided to upgrade my TV to a 50inch pioneer and needed a wall mount so of course i ordered from monoprice. They shipped it to an old address somehow even after serveral orders to the new address that i've been at since november. i contact them about it and get the run around. the item was delivered with a signature confirmation of "front door". they don't know where it is and neither do i. i still have no mount from them and i'm out $93.91 for the mount. i've contacted them numerous times to get this resolved and to date nothing has been done. it's been over a month since i ordered. i expect a lot better from a company like this. i guess i'll have to start ordering from a competitor, maybe they will have better customer service.

Fraud is their middle name. They advertise "Same Day Shipping"...however the cut off time is 6AM, So in reality unless you are an insomniac the shipping is, at best, the following business day.  
 
However they could not even make that! I placed my order on Friday @9:34am, I and any other reasonable person would have expected the order to be shipped on Monday...NOPE! The only thing they did on Monday was charge my CC!! I received an email on Tuesday afternoon advising one item was out of stock. They offered to replace the OSS item with one of a different color.  
 
I wrote and told them I had no interest in continuing to attempt to do business with them, cancel my order and I expected a refund as quickly as I had been charged.  
 
I then received an email on Thursday asking if I REALLY wanted to cancel. On the seventh day of this "same day shipping" company they said my order was canceled.  
 
They are, based on my experience, Frauds and liars.

Monoprice's product and quick shipping have been good to me for years, but when I finally need some customer service, it was very lacking. There was a problem with the shipping address of my order, which I tried to correct as soon I I realized it about 15 minutes after the order was placed. I sent an e-mail to the customer service to confirm the correct address to ship to, but the response a few days later seemed like they did not read the message at all. I wrote back reiterating what my previous message said and was returned with accusations that the only reason they would have an incorrect shipping address is if I typed it in. It probably was my fault that the address was incorrect, but it does not help solve the problem to blame people. We went back and forth with more e-mails and I also called hoping to get some help, but there was no help there as there seems to be only one person in customer service, and I got the same person who I have been going in circles with on the e-mail. Ellie H. is the person who have been particularly unhelpful. She repeatedly blamed me for the problem vs trying to help me solve it. She made empty promises like saying someone will call me back to help fix our issue but never had anyone do it even after I e-mailed about it twice, or she was just saying that to get off the phone with me. Very unprofessional and unhelpful customer service.  
The last message I received from Ellie wanted me to go to the address that it was sent to(about 45 miles away in another city) and see if I can get it from the people there as that is where the post office left it I guess. Nice. Worst customer service I have ever had.
