I ordered some Adams golf clubs (1" longer than standard) from Brian at 6pm central time before I read all the review about BHM. Once I read the reviews I decided to cancel my order, so I sent BHM an email about 8pm that same night and asked to cancel my order. Brian wrote back the next day and said it was too late because they had already shipped. We emailed back and forth and he kept insisting there was no way to stop the order because it was already on it's way. I called my credit card company and he had not charged my card yet so I told them to cancel my credit card number and reissue me a new card. The next day I get an email from Brian saying that I could not order the clubs with the 1" extension like I wanted so he would cancel my order. Not sure what kind of game he is playing but I would not do business with this company. Pretty shady...  
 
Right... He's telling the truth and all the people who have written in here went out of their way to make up lies about BHM. I just hope if you are reading this you strongly consider taking your business to a reputable seller. There are lots of them out there to choose from

customer inquired about a price of adams package set. it does not exist. this customer went beliagarnt toward BHM GOLF and we did not answer his phone calls. We attempted to try and take care of him with a price but he told us a retailer was offering him a custom set of packaged set that does not exist at the company. They do not offer the set at all, I informed the customer and the customer went bilagarant and started to yell and scream at us with foul words. We have cleaned up alot of action and are under new management. This customer was not only lied to by the retailer that was taking their money but placed a custom order with BHM GOLF and BHM GOLF the order was non cancellable. He then wanted the order 2nd Day air. and we placed the order immediatly with our sale rep outside. he stated 2 days later the set was not available. We never charge any order in 2009 until we know we shipped the product or it has shipped or is available. We do apologize for the wrong of this customer, but this customer is in the total wrong. he cancelled the order with BHM GOLF because of what he read.  
 
BHM GOLF IS NOT DOING ANYTHING. THE CLUBS ARE NOT AVAILABLE THRU THE MAKER OF THE COMPANY. THE OTHER RETAILER WOULD PUT PLUGS INTO THE END OF THE CLUBS. THIS CUSTOMER IS A BEGINNER AND DOES NOT KNOW MUCH ABOUT GOLF AND WE SPENT 30 MINUTES TRYING TO HELP HIM OUT.

I ordered a sun mountain speed cart v2 on bhmgolf.com. After my order, the site informed me that I would receive an email with the tracking number. Three days later, I called bhmgolf.com and the person that answered the phone was rude and cursed at me. When I asked him if he was cursing at me, he replied, "No. I was cursing at my doctor!" As we continued, I informed him that I did not receive an email with the tracking number. He informed me that it would probably be in my spam folder. So, I checked that and did not find an email from bhmgolf. When I called him back he start cursing and yelling at me, which caused me to respond back at him. Finally, he ended up sending me 4 copies of my invoice that contained the tracking number.  
 
Although, he called me back to say that he was at the doctors office in severe pain and apologized, I decided to look up bhmgolf and to my surprise found that I am not the only person he has treated this way.  
 
Finally, he did not send me my free hat that was advertised with the purchase of the cart.  
 
****UPDATE****  
Believe Brian if you want, but it was he who called to apologize. If I had provided a wrong email as he claims, then I wonder how was it that he sent me notice of the order the same day that stated, "upon shipping, we will send you a ups shipping number.", then 3 days later claim I typed in the wrong address in my order. In fact it was he that read me my email back. I never told him this over the phone. In addition, what I read about BHM golf was after I had exchanged profanities with this guy.  
 
Also, he threaten to have me arrested for harassment for calling him and text messaging him. However, it was he who initiated the calls and text messages, calling me at 1:30am his time and texting me. Believe me the attorney general will have all of this evidence.  
 
What a disillusioned individual!

let me tell you the story about this customer. this customer order a v2 cart on the same day and BHM GOLF shipped the unit the same day. UPS sent the ups tracking number to the customer's email address from UPS not BHM GOLF. It is in his spam filter I told him first. Then I find out after customer was cursing BHM GOLF out, that he wrote the wrong email address down on the order id on the order form used to order goods on the internet. BHM GOLF told we had emergency and was not in the office. Customer went beligant at BHM GOLF and starting swearing. JUST because he reads something doesn't give him the right to do to this to a merchant that has made strides to improve. This customer was wrong and he later apologize Firday , august 14th, 2009 and said I am sorry because he noticed the email address wrong on the website. He only rec'd the emails after he gave BHM GOLF the correct email address over the phone. BHM GOLF took alot of abuse from this customer

BE AWARE ! Called to see what was in stock and was essentially yelled at "THIS IS ON MY WEBSITE". Was so rude I hung up. He called back my number and SCREAMED PROFANITIES for hanging up, he then threatened me personally, do not call this number or he will swear and harass you. Am reporting him to the Better Business Bureau, his attorney general.

Brian is a crook full of misinformation and lies do not do business with him. I can bore with a long story but it is the same as you can already read in the cases above. Best plan is to cancel your order, demand a refund, post your experinece here, refer the case to Illinois Consumer Fraud Bureau, and dispute the charge with your credit card company with the details.

as you can tell Brian has finally found this website and wants to continue telling his half truths and lies... Brian if you will send me a ups call tag, (as I have told you in many emails and phone conversations) you can have the wilson clubs you sent... Yes that's wright folks he sent the wrong clubs. Clubs I never ordered, clubs I don't want, and they are still in the box sitting in my garage waiting for a ups call tag. This was after you promised, promised, and promised the set of TopFlights would be here soon/nextday/etc.. You tried to get me to take wilsons I said no. You sent them anyway! Your problem not mine. I am dam sure not paying to ship them back to you. I ordered TopFlite's from Dicks, the same clubs I originally ordered from BHM that were "in stock" lol, got them in two days from Dicks! Brian give it up all your responces sound alike. If everyone is so ridiculous and your so great why is the state after you and their are so many compliants against you. If I don't get a call tag from you within 30 days you will forfiet your clubs for the storage fee.  
 
Call UPS send the Call tag I am done with you. I suggest no one ever order from BHMgolf!

I am ridiclous now that is funny. You have never sent me an email with any call tag. I wonder what UPS would say about your claim??? I cannot believe you are still trying to get anyone to believe that in today's online world that if I order something from your website that you would not already have my email. Your website does because when I made my complaints there I promptly got emails back! So once again Brian is not telling the truth. You never tried to even fill the order I placed with you much less please me. You have been rude to me and my wife on more than one occasion.

BHM golf took my order and credit payment in Feb. 2008. I never received the merchandise. There was always an excuse about the supplier or the standard,we will mail it by Friday. Needless to say the push cart that I ordered was never sent Finally I contacted, The Better Business Bureau of Illinois (BHM never responded to the inquiry)and my credit card company to proceed to obtain a refund. It was beyond frustrating dealing with this company.

The biggest bunch of knuckle heads on the planet! They're not only the most rude people I have ever dealt with but the most untrustworthy.  
 
I ordered a golf bag online on 12/2/08. After waiting one week for shipment, I called; only to be told that it would be shipped that Friday. Another week went by..still no bag. Called again, another person w/o any home training answered and told me it was shipped that Friday (it had mysteriously been back ordered). Waited another week. Another person tried to "find" the order. I was told it had been shipped that day. I then was delivered a Tracking No. from UPS...w/ little info, plus it was being shipped to billing address - not the shipping address. I then tried for over a week (Christmas holidays) to track this Christmas gift. It was a NO-SHOW. Called on 1/6/09. Not only was this guy pathetic, he sent me an email telling me he had returned my money - but was for another person that he insisted was ME! Finally after much of flake talk, he found where the order had actually been canceled weeks earlier!!!!  
 
In a time where not many people are eager to spend money, one would think a company that uses Ben Hogan as a moniker would be responsible & more eager to take my money!!  
 
IN REFERENCE TO HIS REPLY BELOW. I HAD TO EVENTUALLY GET MY CREDIT CARD CO TO DISPUTE THE CHARGES IN ORDER TO GET MY REFUND. HE ALSO NOTES THAT I RECEIVED MY ORDER...TOTALLY NOT TRUE.  
 
AND WHAT DO YOU THINK OF A BUSINESS THAT WOULD POST YOUR ORDER INFO!!??  
 
THIS GUY NEEDS LOTS OF PRAYERS!

This web site is a total rip off...DO NOT DO BUSINESS with these people. To everyone that is having difficulty getting a refund...BE PERSISTENT!! Please contact the Villa Park Police Department to let them know the situation. They helped me get my refund. Brian will play games but don't let him. Keep after him!! It took me 1 1/2 months to get my refund! BUYER BEWARE!!  
 
This is response to BHM's reply...My order was cancelled(by me) and never delivered(because I did not want the set)...so, I never received any merchandise from you(thankfully) and you finally refunded my credit card after a month and a half ordeal of unpleasant phone calls and email exchanges. You know that's the truth...Check with UPS, they will also tell you the truth...Mr. BHM, your delusions are amazing!

Glad I found this website. An earlier posting turned me on to the Illinois DA's Office (http://www.ag.state.il.us/pressroom/2007_12/20071228b.html). This was the only way to get Brian's attention. Still owes me a partial reimbursement. Hopefully, when we all file a claim with the DA's office, we'll get paid when they shut him down.

BHM GOLF had problem with Sun Mountain bags as supplier and we have resolved this with Ben Williams and has sent him $150.00 dollars worth of golf balls and he has dropped any complaint he has had with the Attorney General.

I also wish that I had known more about this guy before odering from him as I have just been through a similar ordeal as many of those described.  
 
I ordered a 15 piece top-flite set over the phone from this guy for $199. A few days later when I was checking my credit card statement on line I see he has charged me $339. I immediately called him to find out what had happened and he said he thought I wanted the 18 piece set at $339. He told me he would correct everything and refund the difference.  
 
Several days went by and the $339 charge was still there so I emailed to find out what was going on. I got a very confusing email back saying the 18 piece set was shipped and I should get it in a few days. I called him and told him I didn't want the 18 piece set and he said "yeah I know, I ordered you the 15 piece set and you should get it in a few days". I asked him if he had processed the refund for the difference and he said yes.  
 
A few more days passed and I get the 15 piece set by UPS, but he still hadn't refunded the difference for charging me for the 18 piece set so I called to find out why. He told me he had and that it takes a few days to post. In the mean time I happened to google this guy and found this site with all of the complaints, so I immediately called my credit card company and explained what had happened. They started the dispute process for the overcharge and I continued to wait.  
 
I continued to call Brian and was told the same thing each time, that he processed it already and I should see it anytime. Then a few phone calls later he tries to tell me that he processed it for another guy with the same name in Canada and that it was his mistake and he would take care of it that day (he must think we are all idiots!).  
 
So a few days later I see the refund for the difference and of course think that he has finally come through, so I call the dispute claims department of my credit card company to tell them I got the refund. They inform me that THEY processed it to my account because I had provided adequate evidence that I was overcharged and that they were now handling it with him.  
 
Great! I thought, this is all done. Well 5 days later I get an angry phone call from Brian saying that the credit card company took all $339 and that I needed to pay him $199! I told him no, they had only given me the difference for being overcharged. He insisted that I was wrong and that I needed to pay him $199 or send the clubs back, or that he would have to sue me! Ha ha ha, what a joke this guy is!! He even asked me "do you want the cops to have to come and knock on your door?" What an idiot!! I told him to do whatever he thought he needed to do because as for me, I got the difference refunded back by my credit card company and he would have to deal with them.  
 
Well, after hanging up with Brian I call the credit card company and tell them everything that has just happened. They actually laughed and said not to pay attention to this loser. But just for fun I asked them if they could conference call him so they can tell him that he is wrong. . . he practically cries on the phone with them and tells them they are ripping him off and hangs up!  
 
I just can't believe this guy is still in business after all of these complaints and the Illinois attorney general suit as well.

this customer has the product from BHM GOLF and has Full money back from his cardholder. BHM GOLF needs the money back for the merchandise this consumer never returned to BHM GOLF. He seems to write how we did not do anything, but now he has the merchandise and his full money back.

This guy is unbelievable! I ordered a Sun Mountain C130 bag. Immediately received notification it shipped. However, when it was received, it was an SCB, not a C-130. Called this guy and he tells me I can keep it, it is worth $40 more than the one I ordered (which on his own website is $10 less, so he must have thought I was an idiot!). I told him it was not the bag I wanted, so he said I needed to return the item and place a replacement order. So, now I've paid twice, and all I have received is three shipments of the original wrong bag he sent me.  
 
When you call him, he is rude and pretentious. I've been trying to get my money back for weeks now to no avail. The credit card company is trying to recoup the payments, but what a poor business and even poorer excuse for a human being! Do yourself a favor, don't buy from BHM!

We apologize for our Sun mountain vendor at the time. They often shipped the wrong items direct to customers and customers got upset. Then they told us they were taking care of the problem and they continued to mess up. That really messed our reputation. We apologized to this person and offerred him a solution. He wanted his money back and we issued refund on all monies charged by BHM GOLF

I placed an order 07/25 for a Sun Mountain Speed Cart V1. He jerked me around for a while. But since I paid for it with PayPal, I opened a complaint in the Resolution Center which included my incomplete transaction and comments I found here. Within an hour he called and said the money had been refunded. Two minutes later he called again and asked why I said those things and hung up. Pay with PayPal. But then again, don't order anything from this scammer!!  
 
08/01/2009 It's funny and sad how his response indicates that I'm not a valid BHM customer, and its not a valid invoice. It was my first and only order from BHM. And if you delete this information, of course it's not valid..... Brian, do us all a favor and get out of the golf equipment business. Go into something more in line with your natural talents like selling compost bins or manure........

I ordered a golf club from them and they said it would be delivered in 10-15 days. They charged my credit card without sending the product. It's now been over 45 days and I still haven't received the product. When I call them, they say it was "just shipped" and then it never shows up. Then they say the same thing when I call back a week letter.  
 
UPDATE: After informing Brian Meyer that I was reporting him to the Illinois District Attorney's Office, he admitted that he never sent me the product and issued a full refund. I now consider the matter closed and will take my business elsewhere.

like most of you who read these comments about BHM golf I am totally disgusted that he can get away with it.At the moment I am bombarding him with insulting e-mails,which is a bit sad if I am on my own but if everyone who has been ripped off starts to do it we may make his life a bit more miserable than it is and with luck tip him over the edge into the pit he rightly belongs.  
 
I e-mail his 3 accounts including his blackberry.As I live in Spain I can do it quite comfortably in the middle of his night...morning coffee time for me.  
 
I would telephone him as well but it is a bit pricey from here unfortunately

for those of you new to the BHM rip off store register a complaint with the Illinois DA"s office  
 
BHM have posted a reply which is total fabrication...they never sent the 3 wood or the putter I ordered by UPS or anyone else.He is now trying to say that I refused to pay the excise duty and /or taxes.NOT TRUE any import taxes would be paid here in Spain and anyway this is the first time it has been mentioned.A poor attempt at an excuse to justify his rip off tactics.All you have to do is to follow the threads to see how he rips people off.What he is trying to do now is damage limitation because he is being sued by The Illinois DA office.  
 
I have just ordered a Cleveland Driver from Rockbottom golf..a great price,delivery to Spain in 4 days at sensible price,no hassle,no bullshit,no "taxes or duty".  
 
Still waiting for Mr Rip Off at BHM to return my money.  
 
Hope the DA'S office now moves in on him

BHM GOLF is not a rip off store. This customer is from another country and BHM GOLF shipped the product , a macgregor mac tec 3 wood. This customer refused to pay duties and taxes and wanted BHM GOLF to pay. BHM GOLF refused to pay because no where it states on our site we pay duties and taxes into the country of the customer. That is the customers responsibility. Now he has filed a complaint with everyone. We still want to try and resolve the matter. BHM GOLF is out the golf club and shipping of the merchandise over to Christopher Strickland.

This site is great. I only wish I would have seen it before I placed an order with BHM. I feel badly for those on this site who got burned, but at least I'm not alone. Some of the comments are downright hilarious. I especially like the suggestion that you order a bag of tees from this guys for like $10, get your friends together, call this guy on speaker phone, and listen to him go mental. I may get my order, after waiting much longer than he promised to ship item he sent me a tracking number. Not sure if its the actual tracking number for my order or just some random number he used to throw me off. Guess I'll find out soon enough. I'll give it a few days and if no delivery I'll try to cancel through my credit card. I called him at 7:00 p.m. PST and he didn't answer but called right back. He sounded paranoid. He wouldn't let me finish a sentence. Advised "its really late out here" (it would have been 9:00 p.m. CST, I suppose that's late if your 85 years old). Asked him for the tracking number and he said, "its your email address." I advised that doesn't sound right, and he said he'd send me an invoice containing the tracking number. I got the email but there was no invoice, I emailed him back advising the same and he sent another email this time only containing a tracking number. I put the tracking number into the UPS site and per UPS it was shipped 2 days ago. Again, probably a bogus tracking number. I read the report from the Illinois Attorney General about this guy. I'm a lawyer in Las Vegas, I can only hope the Illinois AG is more aggressive than the Nevada AG because in Nevada this guy would never face the music. Even if he's prosecuted in Illinois he'll likely never have to pay any restitution to the thousands of people he's likely screwed. Oh well, live and learn. In the future I will always, always, google search for site reviews before placing an order.
