The Sharp TV I purchased from TVSDEPOT.com is a excellent TV and I am very happy with the product. But I was very disappointed with the technique this website used to sell the product.  
An Up-Convert DVD was offered as a promotional item to purchase this TV ( a very expensive TV).  
Initially this website did not even ship the promo item and I had to call multiple times to get them to ship the item which I received 5 weeks after purchasing the TV. When I received the promo item it was a very cheap off-brand DVD which NOT a up-convert HD DVD player as was advertised by the website. When I called and as for the appropriate promo item to be shipped, I was told I had to accept whatever item was sent and that they were not required to send the advertised item. What a rip-off! I will never buy from this website again.

This was a terrible company to deal with - cancelled my credit card for this order. Very coercive selling tactics - website showed $199 shipping fee, they changed it to $399; receiving multiple emails each day in a harassing way - asked them to cease and desist, they have not; said I cannot cancel in the way I did, that I must call them; I have sent multiple emails to tell them I would report to the Attorney General's office and now they send multiple emails each day; I have filed a complaint with the BBB in NY. This company does not have good ethical standards - advertisement, selling tactics.

The saga continues! I bought a additional 2 year warranty with my Samsung Home Theater (read below) and the warranty company is now giving me the runaround and telling me that they will not honor the warranty. They are in cohoots with RiteBuys and hopefully the NY Attorney General will do something about this!

usual bait and switch, i wanted to buy xti for 459, got an email to call to confirm, i did, and their service rep said that the camera didnt come with a battery or charger, and that it was 200 more if i wanted it. I said no, so then he said that camera was out of stock, so i asked when they would get it, he said they wont have it anymore. I called their sales person, who told me they have everything thats on the website, so i called the other guy back told him that, and he said that the sales people dont know what they have, only he knows.  
 
So i cancelled my order, then called the credit card company to cancel my card after read reviews that said people had unauthorized charges posted to their account (happened to my friend who bought an xti from 21 century electronics with a debit card, now he lost all his money).  
 
stay away from them. just read the reports on BBB

FotoConnection - Great Price - if the camera lens was ever even available. After ordering on-line, I had to call - they then tried to sell me other stuff, even go with a different (cheaper quality) lens. 3 days later the item was not yet shipped. I called (3rd time) asked for a supervisor and only then told the item was on a 7 week back-order. I'll never shop there again.

I am not certain if this is Ritebuys.com, but it appears there is some connection to this merchant and ritebuys.com. RITEBUYS.COM is a scam company and practices BAIT and SWITCH, and does not sell what you believe you bought. I purchased a SONY digital camera, and then received a phone call that the camera I bought was not a US model, and only came with a 30 day warranty. They then tried to sell me the US model for nearly $100 more and about $40 more than retail stores were advertising. STAY AWAY. I am contacting SONY, my attorney general, and my Credit Card company. SCAM ARTISTS! BEWARE!

THESE GUYS ARE PROFESSIONAL SCAMMERS!!! Do not buy anything...even a mouse pad from these crooks! Don't learn the hard way like I and dozens and dozens of other people are finding out everyday (I wish I would have read the reviews before placing the order!)  
 
These guys are trying to con me on $2,637.97! They are quick to pickup the phone when you are placing the order...(2 mins) but to talk to customer service it takes upwards of 25 mins. Even then, customer service seems like they deliberately try to be RUDE to you and are of no use. I wonder if these guys were trained with the mindset to scam us poor consumers...F*CK, I have to hand it to them...they are really good at what they do! I've filed a chargeback with my credit card company..I suggest everyone does so we can shutdown these scammers...  
 
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING, I MEAN ANYTHING FROM THESE SCAMMERS!

I am EXTREMELY UNHAPPY AND DISPLEASED, AS WELL As UNSATISFIED with FotoConnection. I had a big problem with shipping and a supervisor at Foto Conn agreed to help me with it, but that was over one month ago.Iit's obvious he NEVER planned to help me, so your co. is a scam to me and anyone else that I can tell and WILL tell is DO NOT ORDER or do business w/them!!!

I ordered a Canon SD630 Digital camera and after the call to verify order, I agreed to purchase an additional battery. Received camera minus extra battery. Also noticed the camera is a "refurbished" model from third party. (Verified by E-mail to Canon)Obviously no warranty. Web site states brand new sealed from factory and 1yr warrant. I called to see where the extra battery is. They told me camera doesn't come with battery and the one I got was what I purchased.(Per Canon, battery is included with camera inside box). The battery was included in camera box. Now I paid premium price for a "refurbished" camera that has no warranty. This is pure fraud and should be investigated by Attorney General of NY and the Federal Trade Comission.

Price was good! Don't know why it took to long to ship when I live near the seller. Paid alot to ship a few blocks away. Delivery guy walked a hand truck to my house, did not even take a van to deliver my item. Would not shop there again.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! THE WORST BUYING EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD.  
 
Order placed December 29th:  
After shopping around for a few days for a Sony Wega 42" Rear Projection LCD TV I found that Inoax.com had the cheapest price including shipping $1399 + $169. The next day got a call on my cell phone to verify the order and they offered a HDMI cable & 4 year warranty which included 3 bulbs for the TV. For TV\Shipping\Warranty\HDMI to HDMI cable I was charged $2018.98, a great deal in my estimation. I recieved the TV via UPS on January 4th.  
 
That is where the hell of dealing with this company begins...  
 
The packaging was terrible. It was the stock Sony box packaged BUT inside an unmarked box with the Packing slip and label on what would be the side of the TV. No "this side up" or "fragile" stickers.  
 
The TV was completely damaged, whe whole screen shattered. I immediately called Customer Service, they said they would arrange for UPS to pickup and a replacement would be sent when UPS verified pickup. They said UPS would be in touch to arrange. Easy enough right?  
 
January 12th rolls around and still no word from UPS. I call them and they have the pickup order, only Inoax provided them THEIR claims department as the customer contact. UPS said they left 3 messages at the number provided and were never contacted, that is why pickup had not yet been arranged. We straightened than out and scheduled pickup, which took place on January 16th.  
 
I called Inoax to ask for a shipping refund, they refused, when I asked to speak to a manager, they refused. I mentioned how they provided UPS the wrong information and they told me that UPS lied to me. I mentioned the poor packaging and they again blamed UPS. (the outside box had damage but the inside, stock sony box had none which made me question if the shipment was sent broken) I told them I just wanted a replacement shipped. They said they can not until they get verification of pickup. It was going on 3 weeks and I still didn't have my TV, I was getting fed up.  
 
When the TV was picked up I kept calling asking if my replacement was sent, their story kept changing. 3 times I was told a replacement was sent out. I finally ask for a tracking number and what they gave me was for the ORIGINAL SHIPMENT! I told them UPS said tracking numbers were never duplicated and they had no record of anything coming back to my address. Inoax's Customer Service told me UPS was LYING and that I had to work it out with UPS because the replacement is in their hands. It seemed I had to do all the communication between the shipper and the shipping company.  
 
I contacted UPS and they informed me that they were in the process of inspecting the damages of the original, which they would ship back to Inoax after. When I got back to Inoax to tell them to ship the replacement out they again said they could not (finally admitting they they never did ship a replacement), this time because they need the return back to their location before sending a replacement. I asked them to cancel the order and they told me they can't until they got the shipment back. When UPS's tracking system said it was delivered back to INOAX I called and they still would NOT refund because it was "not in our system yet". They left it at making the refund once "it gets in our system". I don't trust it will happen as all I have been given is lies.  
 
I filed a complaint with the BBB and also a dispute with my credit card company just incase.  
 
Over the time from scheduling pickup with UPS and now (February 3rd) I have been in touch with INOAX several times. I was lied to, hung up on, and misled. I was told I'd be called back for information at least 4 times and was never contacted.  
 
This place should be shut down.

These guys are crooks,cheats and worthless businessmen. They advertise low prices for non existent merchandise. I called several times trying to get shipping info only to find out that nothing was processed. When asked to expedite the order the person got angry and cancelled the order. I will not do business again with these guys.

they were listed on streetprices.com as having the best price on a yamaha mcr-e600sl mini system, so i went to their web site, it looked legit and i ordered. a few days later they called and were really agressive trying to sell me a warranty in their brooklyn accents. they said i was stupid if i didn't buy a warranty for like $50. i cancelled my order. i don't trust them.

Buyers beware. Worst customer service ever. I ordered a laptop because they had prices about $200 lower than other companies. Three days later the laptop still hadn't shipped, so I called to ask them to expedite the shipping. After waiting on hold for over half an hour and getting transferred from person to person, basically nothing happened. Later that day I received a phone call telling me that the laptop I was trying to purchase was actually refurbished, and would I like to purchase a warranty? I replied that I wanted a new laptop, not a refurb, and that I wanted to cancel my order. Then they said that they did in fact have a new laptop in stock, but with a foreign OS and $400 more. I replied that I could get it cheaper elsewhere and for them to cancel my order. They argued with me, saying that I couldn't get it cheaper elsewhere! They said they had looked, and I must be mistaken, nobody else had this laptop in stock. When I assured them that I could find one, they hung up on me. I'll never do business with this company again!

This company will do everything possible to rip you off! Although their advertised price was the best I found, I will never deal with this company again. They called me "to confirm my order", but when everything was confirmed they casually mentioned that the order total was $150.00 more than advertised. When I questioned this, I was told it was for "handling" - when they were already charging $69.99 for GROUND shipping a 22 pound box. When I tried to cancel, they kept reducing the 'handling' charge, until finally they agreed to sell it for the advertised price. When my credit card statement came, they had _still_ overcharged me.
