The software that was supposed to come with my purchase didn't so I had to get it from customer service. They then sent it very quickly which I appreciate. I have trouble finding my account info and order history without relogging in every time. That is inconvenient. Prices were good. I really like the detailed info and specs on the items. Some sites I've looked at don't. Over all my experience was 3-1/2 stars I'd say. Thanks.

They were little slow about shipping but I think it turned out to be an accident. As soon as I emailed them they replied right away and shipped it promptly. I recieved it a couple of days later as the promised in perfect condition and exactlly what I had ordered. I would order from them again with no hesitaion at all.

Everything was great till I paid for 3 day shipping and they sent ground and dont answer emails to refund the difference.
The unit arrived a day late for my wifes birthday but to be fair well packaged and sent quickly.

I have two comments that I would like to see FuturePowerPC address in the future.
This first is that I feel the automated e-commerce system needs improvement, although my overall experience was satisfactory.
There was an 'alleged' problem with my credit card information a day after my order was placed. I was notified via email of this delay and I wasn't contacted by phone regarding this "problem".
I even placed a "comment" in the order stating that I wished to be contacted via telephone if there was to be any delay with this "time sensitive" order (a Christmas present).
I was only contacted via automated email which served no purpose in resolving the matter. It only contained a link directing me to a web page that displayed "a problem with my order".
I did eventually resolve the matter via telephone with customer support.... But this brings me to my other issue.
The local customer support number was consistently busy for 9 hrs. straight and I only got through about 10 minutes before closing. The 888 number wouldn't work in my local area code.
Despite the difficulties with correcting my credit card issues, shipping was amazing QUICK - and actually made up for the lost time in the order processing department. This made me a happy customer.
I will consider ordering from FuturePowerPC.com in the future.

Initial problems with shipping charges, but it was handled to my satisfaction. Card arrived in fine shape and the price was fair.

It took them 2 days to ship the order. There was no email from them about the order. However, you can check the order status by login their web site. The item came in good condition. I would buy from them again.

These guys saved my butt! I needed my server back up on SATURDAY and by the time I got to their customer service agent it was already 3pm! I was able to get them to ship out overnight for a saturday delivery and get my system back up and running. Definately a life saver and the woman I spoke to was so helpful.

I ordered a Garmin GPSMap 60CSx handheld GPSR from FuturePowerPC.com in December of 2006. I checked all over for the best price, and they had it with free shipping. I was hesitant to order from a new (to me) company, but they had decent online reviews, and I could always go through the Credit Card company to resolve any issues.
I received the GPSR in a few days. It was in great condition with all the parts and documentation I needed to send off for the $50 rebate, which Garmin honored.
I am very happy with the transaction, and the GPSR is still working great, almost 2 years later. I would purchase from them again.

Good experience.
Ordered a Garmin Nuvi 350 for a low price on Sunday, 12/31. Received a call on Wednesday, 1/3 (two business days) to confirm shipping address. No attempt was made to upsell. Said item would ship within 24 hours. Their web page showed it hadn't shipped by Friday, so I called and asked. It was shipped within a half hour.
Item received following Monday, packed well, just as ordered.
Happy with performance. Only complaint would be telling me it would go in 24 hours then missing that time, but they fixed that in a minute with one phone call.
Overall I'm a satisfied customer and would use them again without hesitation.

Very good experience. I was a bit hesitant, but they seemed to check out on other sites too. Good price, shipped on time, good experience. I received the expected up-sell call, but was pleasantly surprised to only be asked my address 'for security reasons'. No upsell, which perhaps was obviated by my paying the $2.50 rush charge.
All good.

Nothing but praise. Initially I was a little ansy about spending alot of money on a site I had never heard of (I found them through froogle), however the price was right, and although I chose standard shipping, I recieved the item the following day. With some trepidation, I ordered a Garmin c530 GPS unit, priced substantially under the competition, and $140 below Bass Pro Shop in my city, Memphis, Tenn. I instantly got an invoice by e-mail, and next day, received a phone call from a real person, checking the order, my address and contact information, and verifying everything. I had ordered the unit with 2nd day shipping, which was $19.95, far below the 9.8% sales tax I would have paid locally. The unit arrived on the morning of the second day, in excellent condition, a new unit, everything as advertised. Their customer service is great, telephone numbers are clearly provided, and you get to speak with a real person, right off the bat, no menus or voice mail, no "we'll-get-back-to-you" runaround. I called customer service again, after receiveing the unit, just to make certain I was right about them. A real man answered again, and we had a nice conversation about the transaction, which I rate AAA+ in my personal rating scale for Internet resellers, the highest rating I give. Ordered Garmin Nuvi 360 (second best price I could find) after normal business hours and the next day decided that I needed to have it shipped faster. Telephone support was fast, friendly, effective and got my order expeditied and shipped overnight as per my request. Highly recommended.
