An hour after taking my order for a video card they reported as in stock, FuturePowerPC sent me an email that my order was in ETA state, but no ETA was in the email or on the website for my order. I called several times, getting busy signals, no answer, and finally got through to a CSR that told me he expecect the item to be in stock in a couple of days. A week went by before FPPC updated the item as having an ETA almost two weeks after the original puchase date. When I managed to get through their phone system on that date, the requested item still had not arrived so I cancelled my order. I had also written two emails without response to support without a response, but today 17 days after the purchase date they sent me this direct and non-automated note in reply:  
 
q: What is going on with my order?!  
a: Order # 607955 has been cancelled.

seller did not perform, did not follow up on their promise to deliver a partial order, did not advise me of the delay until the day the order was to arrive. I was assured the order would be in my hands. Will never buy from this seller again. The invoice # above is an order #, i am out of town now and cannot get to the invoice # easily. We buy about $10,000+ online each year, they will get NONE of our business. Totally unprofessional. Another supplier made good for us immediately on items this retailer told me were backordered only after the order sat with them for over two weeks.

On November 19, 2004 I ordered a BFG 6800 GT OC from Futurepowerpc.com. I purcahsed using their online store. Upon ordering the item was in fact, in stock.  
 
Their website says it takes no more than 48 hours for processing. After a week, i sent an email asking for an explanation as to why my video card was not at my door step. They told me the card was out of stock. I informed them it was listed as "In Stock" on their website. They declined to help me in my predicament as to not having a video card.  
 
They lied on three occations as to when my video card would be shipped, purely to keep my order. After the third lie fell through, i told them to cancel my order and bought the bfg 6800 Ultra OC from another company (which i have reviewed).

Truly bad customer service and fraudulent business practice. I placed an order for qty 15 PNY 6800GT cards from their pricewatch.com ad. They had one of the cheapest selling prices on there at $369 shipped. I placed an order and a received an order confirmation. The next day I received a phone call to verify that i did indeed place an order for qty 15 pieces. I told them that it was me who placed the order, i also told them my credit card issuer is expecting the charge. Then the rep says on orders this size sometimes they might need to do a wire transfer in case of fraudulent activity. I told the rep, that I am the card holder, and that I am shipping to my billing address. they can call the credit card company and verify the info and also have their fraud dept call me if they have any issues. The guy then said it should be no problem since i do not have a different shipping address.  
Almost two weeks passed and no shipment. I send a request on their website to ck order status, an email came back a day later saying they need a wire transfer even though they accept credit cards. I emailed back and told them I was assured by the rep that it is ok and that if there are any probs they will call me back. I told them to charge my card and ship it, when i placed the order the rep told me it would go out that day and they had plenty of cards in stock to fulfill my order.  
Then i logged in the next day and found out that they cancelled my order. I did a little more snooping on their site and found out they raised their selling price from $369 to $399. It looks like they didnt want to ship my order and made up all sort of excuses to not ship it so they can jack up the price on the item. My credit card is used for purchases in excess of 30k per month and sometimes with single charges of over 10k per transaction so I already knew my card would not have been a problem. STAY AWAY FROM THIS VENDOR, THEY ARE DISHONEST, DO NOT LET YOU KNOW REGARDING THE STATUS OF YOUR ORDER, CANCEL YOUR ORDER TO SELL THE ITEMS FOR MORE!

Poor Customer Service and email Order status notification.  
Order sat there for one week. I emailed to inquire and finally receive an email back saying the item is out of stock and offering me an alternate video card. I call Customer Service, and am put on hold for over 10 minutes, and finally hang up and try calling again..only to get a repeated busy signal. I finally get an email about 2 hours after the advising out of stock email saying that the item is being shipped soon.  
Conflicting email information, or no email notification at all.  
Called Customer Service again, to question why this was done, and why I was not notified upon ordering the item that it was out of stock, he says it never was out of stock, and I then read him the email that was sent by a Matt Z advising of the "out of stock" status.  
He had NO answers to that one. His attitude was indifferent, and unconcerned. I asked for a manager, he said I could talk to him.  
I explained my concerns and my disappointment with their poor customer service. I also was NOT satisfied with his replies. Very poor customer service.  
Item was subsequently shipped today after much back and forth via email and phone, but I will NOT be ordering from this company again.

**** UPDATE **** After screwing with these people since August(4 months) without the refund they promised on the "free shipping" as specifically stated in their pricewatch ad, I have decided to cut my losses and give future power pc a poor review. crappy... do not trust.

Bought a 9800SE and got a open/used card. No game was included when said does.  
So i RMA it.  
Take almost 4 weeks to RMA refund.  
and they take $10 off the price (excuse of shipping cost). $10 ship from NY to NJ?  
Its a free shipping item. and no where in their policy saying they will deduce shipping cost when refund.  
I got total refund when during with newegg.com and were done within a week. Not taking weeks.  
Not satisfy at all.

Don't believe it when they say an item is "In Stock".  
 
I ordered an "in stock" high-end video card on Aug 5th along with expedited shipping. My credit card was charged on Aug 8th. On Aug 10th, their tracking app still showed "To Be Shipped".  
 
I attempted to telephone their "customer service" number, but it was busy all day. I should have been suspicious when I noticed their customer service and technical support lines were the same number.  
 
I finally resorted to trying their "Live Chat" feature and did indeed get a response. That person told me it wouldn't be available from the manufacturer until the 13th. So much for "In Stock".  
 
The fact that they charged my card a week before they even _hoped_ to have a product to ship smells like a Ponzi scheme to me.  
 
I cancelled the order on August 10th and the credit did appear on my credit card 2 days later.

I ordered a GPU from these guys that they showed as in stock and ordered it for next day. The next day I call to make sure my order was shipping and the person on the phone said the part was in stock and my order was shipping out that afternoon. When I call in again Monday I find out that not only was the part never in stock but that I probably will be waiting weeks before they can ship and they tried to cross sell me to a different product because "you probably don't need video in anyway". At this point I cancelled my order and am making sure charges are denied at the bank ... utter incompetence.

I placed a order for a ATI Radeon 9800 showing in stock at 3:38 PM on the 14th I was charged $19.23 for next day shipping the order went in. I was charged to my card and sent confirmation of the order but no tracking #. Today I received a received saying that it was just now sent to their warehouse for processing. When I called warehouse inquire about the delay I was told the cut off is at 1:30 PM. This is not visible when placing the order or if it is it is not till after you have committed by entering your credit card. I feel that is a deceptive practice. While asking why my order was not shipped I was then informed that not only did it not go so I would not have it for my customer who paid extra for it but it was not even in stock! If that's the case why did they take my order and charge my card for good they could not deliver. Never will I use this company again and I warn anyone buying from them to be very carefully and read all the info on their site they can find. Tom Rooney PC Medics

This should be an interesting case. A product was purchased from this company and every opportunity to get it shipped 2 day air was used. The package was received a week and a half later. All came in one piece, meaning no broken glass or spilled milk, but after placing it in the computer the truth was revealed. A lesser model of the product was placed in its sister box. Ultimately fooling the customer until a more experienced computer person was able to clarify the problem. To my disbelief a short time later the lesser product became worthless due to the fact it did not function. This does not seem to be the actions of a responsible business in any way. Either the folks packaging the items are at fault or the company just thought that the consumer would not feel this mistake was worth pursuing. To this day they have not responded to any of my inquiries. I beg of you please don’t tolerate these types of actions by purchasing the products that they so conveniently price.

Worst experience ever. They sold me an item that wasn't in stock. They shipped it several days late. They shipped it via UPS Ground even though I paid extra for UPS 2-day air. The package was lost somewhere along the way, although I really suspect that it was never shipped (UPS says they never received it). Customer Service strung me along for another week. I asked them to ship a replacement item, and they agreed to ship it out the next day. A couple days later, they call me to tell me that they can't ship the replacement item because they're out of stock! I will NEVER buy through this vendor again. An online nightmare.

Was looking around for a couple of cpu's. One for me and one for dad. Ran accross this sight and they had a good deal on them, so i ordered two. This Was on tuesday, and paid with my credit card. Now it is friday morning and havent heard a word, so I emailed them and told them i was disappointed in the service i was getting and going back to xxxx company I have been buying from. Explained to them in the letter why i wouldnt be buying from them anymore. Was not rude, just told the facts, that it shouldnt take this long to ship to cpu's that were being mailed to my home address. Well at 9 pm my time, i get an email back saying my order had been canceled. No reason why or anything. So I guess this company doesnt want my business at all. Will not try to buy from them again and will go back to company that wants my money know mater how little it is for an order.
