Beware. Dr. Plasma and Plasmahouse are one and the same. I ordered online a 26" Olevia LCD tv for $467 delivered from them. They advertised item available and will ship in 24 to 48 hrs. A couple of days after ordering I received a high-pressure call from them trying to get me to upgrade to the 27" for $199 more. Bottom line is they didn't have what I ordered, they are almost impossible to contact by phone. I was finally able to contact somebody to cancel order after ten days and ordered from somewhere else. This company was the worst attempted buying experience of my 58 years.

Ordered an LCD TV which included free shipping but order was cancelled because of a "typographical error." The website has no written policy concerning typos, the cancellation email (which also contained typos) was very unprofessional and no consolation options, not even a token coupon code, was offered by the merchant.

Plasma House refused to register a 3 year extended warranty that I purchased at the time I bought my LCD flat panel TV. For 12 weeks I made repeated calls to their customer service and always received the same response - your warranty registration will be sent to you via email. To date I still have not received the warranty registration and am out $299. I sincerely believe they intentionally pocketed by money. I recommend not using this merchant - there are just too many better ones available.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM PLASMAHOUSE.COM, THESE GUYS ARE CROOKS!!
Experience:
ordered Sony LCD rear projection TV from Plasma house, credit card charged right away, however, no tracking number, not shipping after over a week.
Negative points:
* Email not returned
* call to customer service is being put on hold forever.
* if you call "sales", you can reach a person relatively quickly, but as soon as you are reporting problem with the order, they "transfer" you to customer service, and get put on hold forever.
* no response even after I emailed plasmahouse that I'm cancelling the order for their not shipping the merchandise in a timely fashion.
* the only person you can get hold of at plasmahouse is there optoin #1 for sales, somebody will gladly take your order, tell you it's in stock, charge your credit card, then you will never hear from them again.
* I'm disputing the charge with my credit card company and wished I never dealt with these crooks.

Plasma House has very poor customer service and deceptive advertising. I ordered a Samsung 50-IN HDTV DLP TV via CNET when I discovered their low prices on the 11th of January, which I figure is more than enough time to get before the Super Bowl game. When I called on the 13th to ask about the status, they informed me that the order was not even processed! Then they push me off to their “confirmation department” which was only concerned about the extended warranty up sell. It is now the 25th, and they have refused to answer all my emails regarding the status. Worse of all, after being on hold for 40 minutes, Tracy from their customer service department tells me that she will call me back within 30 minutes with the status. She lied and never called back. When I called again on the 26th, they informed me my order was on backorder! They never informed via email or phone despite my many emails to them, which were unanswered.
This is my first order with them and my last. Their service is horrible, their prices deceptive, and their service is slow. I recommend that you do not buy from this company.

Ordered a Sharp LC-37D5U that was listed as in stock on website, after a few days of seeing my status on-line as "waiting for authorization", I tried calling for an update. When I finally go through (after 2 calls and waiting for about 10-15 minutes), the rep told me that the TV I ordered was discontinued and asked if had gotten an e-mail to that effect, I told him I did not. He told me I could order the D4U instead, which is a newer model, so I did. This was just before Thanksgiving, and I got the new TV 4 business days later, so that wasn't bad, although is was 11 days after my original order. Overall, not sure if I would order from them again, the website isn't updated, they never posted a tracking # as they claim they will and the Customer Service is extremely difficult to get a hold of, you wait on hold and get hung up on and have to call back, etc. They had a good price and I eventually got a TV I wanted, but it could have gone more smoothly.

My shopping experience with this outfit has been a disaster. After two weeks of delay (with no update info), i received a wrong item. Now i am waiting for the item to be exchanged. Their website is does not have status information; the custome service wait time in at least 45 minutes. I am sorry to have purchased from them

On 6/10/2005, Spoke with Abel , Ext 221 and he said two of the TV I ordered are in stock ready to ship , so I was happy and I waited for 1 week, no tracking # and no calls from the warehouse regarding my order, called them on 6/17/2005 and waited for two hours on the phone , got hung up once, finally someone said the TV were shipped on 6/17/2005 so I needed to call back on 6/20/2005 to get tracking #. I just got off the phone with these scammers, and guess what? One of the two TV is on back order, and he has NO ETA. These scammers do not deserve to be in business and certainly if you want to get your product in time, DO NOT TRY TO BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! Take my words serisouly so you don't get burnt yourself. Look at their reviews! One " Dissatisfied after another" Good reviews are short , and possibly from the same IP address too.. What a joke! I repeat, DO NOT BUY FROM PLASMA HOUSE, DO NOT BUY PLASMA HOUSE, DO NOT BUY FROM PLASMA HOUSE! This review was modified by its author, Ipodpink, on

I have no invoice number because I could not order. Are they out of business? After trying on three different days, there was no way to reach them on the phone. The phone message has a different set of hours than stated on the web site, the phone always answers with the message that it is after hours when it is not and then hangs up. After calling them back, I dialed a random three digit extension and got the messages to dial 1 if you want to place an order. I let the phone ring for 10 minutes - no answer. Calling back I dialed a 2 for cusomer assistance and it was busy - no wiating queue, just beep, beep, beep ... next time dialing 3 for the next department and again only "busy" and finally the last choice dialing 4 was also "busy." Are they out of business? Their web site info does not match with the phone message, the staff that takes orders from willing customers does not answer the phone, there is no proper phone waiting queue.

This is the absolute WORST online transaction I have EVER been through!
I ordered a screen from their website on 11/29 after confirming by phone that the screen was available at their warehouse in Brooklyn. My credit card got charged immediately and the screen would ship within 24 hours – tracking info would be emailed later. Then received a phone call claiming that shipping would be more expensive than originally quoted – OK.
After 3 business days, nothing had still happened and upon calling them was told that it would ship that same day. Called again the following day for tracking info and was told that there was a temporary backorder on the screen, but it would ship from California. Called them again on 12/6 and the screen had still not shipped so I cancelled the order, I was told that my credit card would be credited right away. Now, two weeks, several phone calls and many unanswered emails later I have still not received a credit.
Stay away from these people, you will get nothing but trouble!!!

Purchased Panasonic Plasma 50" TH50PHD8UK on Nov 4th. Had to cancel order after 12 days as they were too unprofessional. Difficult to track them. Never delivered - they initially said that the item is in stock. and now they say its not. They wasted 2 weeks of my time. I was talking to Michael x216 from Plasma House. They started giving me BS - we order 60 sets all came defected....your card is declining...bla bla..
Will never by here. Its a big fraud.

My experience with Plasmahouse.com was HORRIBLE. THey should be shut down. I have filed a report with the better business bureau. Plasmahouse.com had discontinued models on their website for sale. The website said they were in stock. I ordered two. Two weeks later I was called and told the models were discontinued and that I should order the Samsung 710MPs instead. I was not only assured by the customer service guy that the monitors did everything the discontinued models did, but their website claimed it as well; in particular, picture-in-picture functionality. Two weeks later the units arrived, and they did not have the picture-in-picture capability. I tried to deal with Eric, a manager at Plasmahouse. I left numerous messages with him regarding doing some type of exchange. He said he was sorry, the website was wrong, and that he would do some research on exchange models and get back to me. I told Eric that we couldn't be without monitors and that we would return the ones we originally ordered when he came up with a suitable exchange. He said that was fine. This went on for weeks-me calling and leaving messages for Eric, and Eric saying he was still researching the matter. Finally he said he had exchange models that did the picture-in-picture, but that they were out of stock. he told me to call back in one month. REMEMBER-he knew we weren't returning the old ones till we had replacements on the way. I called a month later and he said they still didn't have them, to call back after Christmas. I finally ordered thru another website. I returned the old ones to Plasmahouse, who refused delivery of the monitors. I called Eric to ask him what happened and he told me that I should have returned the old monitors 5 months ago. When I reminded Eric of our numerous conversations, he hung up on me. HE HUNG UP ON ME.
