Finally got Uncharted 2 today! Other than the good service and safe packaging the only thing that I would like to be improved is the delivery time. It took 11 days...Considering the fact that I'm in Singapore it should be quicker! :)

Play-Asia, hmmm... i'm very love this online store
i spend a lot hahha... this is very responsible online store and co-operative. they send me again for my some broken stuff, but the bad news it's when play-asia resend the item it's broken again when it reach me.. so sad, and dunno wanna say >_<
can't blame them, may be the item can't survive for a long shipping to my country, i can understand when i see why the item broken, it's too sensitif, very sad here.. but i'm very salute of play-asia responsible, they send me again the item but.. it's all broken, >_< maybe i pick a wrong item to buy haahahah...
i'm very recommended this store to all off u, u can trust them, but.. please if you choose an sensitive item to purchase,delivered it via fed ex or something there..(for me that's expensive way)hahahha..

I ordered A PSP KillZone Game and i am from Palestine and received it on time no delays what so ever and they respond quickly to my questions and and definitely i am going to make business with them again

Only order 3 items from them but i have a really good impression of this online store. They offer free shipping, good discounts and many good items. And Play-asia protect the goods very carefully.
The only thing is that i mainly shop for anime-related items like figures, tapestry or cushion cover but they only sell figures and some minor items.
Also i cant be sure about their figures availability. For example, i have waited for a Clannad figure which will be released in September and hope i will get a free shipping from this store, but when other stores like 1999 or HLJ get it, this store cancel selling the figure. I understand the difficulty they may face in stocking the product, but it still scares me. I dont want to miss a good figure over again.
However, that's just my minor circumstance. Overall Play-asia is a very good place for buying goods online.

Play-Asia is hands down the best online gamestore in the world. They have all the new games and a great variety of oldies. the prrices are always more than fair, to the point that almost always is cheaper for me to order a newly released game from them, than to buy it from a retailer in my country(Mexico). They constantly have great offers, seriously I can't believe that they sometimes have xbox 360 games for as low as 20 usd. Their customer service is second to none, as whenever I send them an email with a question, it takes them no more than 24 hrs to respond, Once they didnt have the specific version of a game I ordered, so they sent a similar version (a bit more expensive than what I paid for). I truly am amazed that they havent achieved an straught 10 from reviewers, because for me the experience of buying with them has been 100% satisfactory.

I trusted this store before, but my last order was shiped with used game instead of new Gears of War 2 Limited edition, they also not willing to help me.

I have been happy with play-asia for more than a year. They ship games between 7 and 9 business. That means you will get games in just 2 weeks. I never had any problems with my transactions with them until now. I never wanted to resort to this because everybody makes mistakes. However, my recent transaction with them is simply something that I cannot let pass.
I ordered 2 games from them amounting to $54.80. They shipped the game on the 3rd of July 2009. It's now the 8th of August and I still haven't received them. What's worse the last email I received from them was canned message. I sent them an email gently pressing my frustration about the problem and what I got was a canned message? I never really thought of writing a negative review because I wanted to give them a chance to make things right. However, disregarding the feelings of a frustrated customer is one of the few things I can't bear.
This disheartens me and scares me to place another order on their site. I respected play-asia, and I want that respect to remain. But I was left with no choice. I will give them another chance if they come up with a sure resolution to my problem. For now, however, I am really disappointed.
UPDATE: After I sent a message and sent this review Play-asia gladly gave me full store credit. Now I will review them again when I receive my new orders. I will let you guys know if there's any improvement. This review was modified by its author, VsAssassin, on

DO NOT USE THIS ONLINE STORE! It is a total scam. I ordered 2 games totalling $138 on Dec. 31st 2008. I received an e-mail that they were shipped on Jan 2nd 2009. I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE GAMES AND THEY ARE REFUSING TO REFUND MY MONEY! They respond to all my e-mails with the excuse that the post office is still checking it out. Do they really think we believe that it takes 8 months to check out if a parcel is missing or not. I am posting this warning on every possible site I can and have begun checking out the legal action I am entitled to take. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

I've bought a game for xbox 360 on play-asia.com, and I was surprised to receive it 14 days after the shipment, here in Greece. I will continue to buy there that is serious and fast.

I’m sure most of you had heard about Play-Asia (my ad banner) by now. They are one of the popular online toys and games merchant at Hong Kong. I buy quite a lot of trading figures, plush dolls, solar gadgets and PC games in the past. And so I decided to leave my review on Play-Asia.com at Resellerrating.com.
For your information, Play-Asia did indeed monitor the feedbacks every week from the customers. I have to say, this is a good moves for the company as I believe there are chances that many unhappy buyers will encounter problems with them. I, myself also experience such problem two years ago and I am still pissed off with the expensive crap figure I got over there.
I have been buying from Play-Asia.com for many years now. They send me free coupon every end of the years (December) and also now offering free shipping to my country. I am really pleased with the purchase and refund. But there are always flaws on them that never change until now.
There are plenty of reasons why I complete stop buying toys from them except only PC games and others budgets stuff I might find. I decided to state at least three here.
Firstly, customer’s services that always puts me away from them. I simply dislike the way how they handle the delivery for my orders very fast without confirming the customers if there are changes or cancels require to be done before they send. I experience once for the order I made mistake ordering
and cancellation is totally very hard.
Not to mention they don't read my mail and delay after my goods deliver than they respond my mail. It was a complete disaster service I ever had in my life.
Secondly, pre-ordering were charge when it says it won't. Besides, it happens a few times whenever I place my pre-order, it gets charge the next day and I was totally puzzled.
It was completely a shameless thing to do and lies to the customers. Yes, I know they do refunds but the question is why they charge us in the first place?
Thirdly, the figures and some items I discover are way too expensive compared to the Japanese store. This is why I decided to run away from them. The free coupons I received can't really convince me much to buy from Play-Asia sometimes so they really need to do some changes.

After my poor experience with another site I checked reviews written by other people to see what they think about this site. So I thought after reading positive comments okay I'll try it. I wanted this cd from an fairly unknown duo Denki Candy so I bought it using moneybookers. Everything seems fine,they replied quickly and recieved my payment fast. After a few weeks the status got updated to product shipped so now I'm waiting. Still I seem to have a rather bad feeling about this when I read here that they sometimes aren't as reliable as some people say. I do understand that it will take some time seeing as how I live in a very small country far away so it will take longer to arrive.
update: It said on the site it would arrive in my country on the 27th of July. I waited from monday till friday. Today it's friday and I woke up saw my dad emptying the mailbox and he called me downstairs saying he got something for me. I was so excited; I finally got my cd,the box was in perfect condition so it wasn't bend or seemed like it had already been opened. Just perfectly packed. I opened it sorta roughly,got my cd out and saw I also got a coupon for 5% off. Yay and i'm not lying. I've heard from some friends that play-asia is one of the best online retailers on the internet, so I decided to give it a try. This purchase was for a Sony Traveler Case for the PSP. The delay time posted on the website indicates a 5-15 day waiting time. So I had no choice but to patiently wait for the item. On June 23, I contacted them, saying that it was already 15 days and I asked them what seemed to be causing the delay. They promptly replied with:
"Thank you for contacting Play-Asia.com.
I am very sorry for the delay in shipping your order. There is a sudden
delay in restocking. We regret the restocking date is still not
confirmed. We will try to get the stock and ship your order as soon as
possible. If there are any news, we will contact you. For the time
being, we kindly request for your patience.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask."
And so I waited again, sent them a couple of e-mails during the past month, and to no surprise, I got the same "generic" response. I even asked them why they still list the item as "Available" if they don't have any stock at hand, and they replied, aside from the usual generic BS, that "Our colleague would update the website soon if required.".
Today is July 25 and still no word from play-asia. And I must say, considering the fact that this is my first purchase with play-asia, it has been one terrifying and very disappointing experience for me.
I WILL NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM PLAY ASIA AGAIN!

Shipment is very quick, and they are extremely honest and competitively priced. I e-mail them questions and get responses in less then 24 hours. This order had many items and was shipped quickly. I just wanted to say that back in the day when the PS3 was released in Japan, I pre-ordered it and had it the Monday after the release at my doorstep. They are amazing.
