I ordered a triwing screw driver from play Asia. I'm very satisfied to say I recived everything on time. It was packeged with a sticker and a coupon for $5 off, I don't really care about either but it's nice too see the effort the company puts into shipping it. i would have wrote this sooner if i have found out about this site. anyways, my first order with them was very much pleased. got my order on the 10th day using free shipping. however it was different on my next order. it may have been partly my fault for not reading the fine print with regards to pre orders, i went and pre ordered an item using pay pal (which i learnt later that they discourage the use of pay pal for pre orders) after i had pre ordered the item and received a confirmation email that they have already received my payment. the next day i was surprised to receive an email from them saying that it was already closed and i did not make the list. this got me confused since they earlier replied that my payment was received (and it was already processed by Paypal). i asked them about this conflict and on that time, paypal was also asking confirmations from me if i made that transaction. i told paypal what happened, regarding about my payment being accepted yet my pre order slot was cancelled. that led to a dispute which i tried with my best to sort everything out hoping that play asia would still accept my order. play asia did apologized for that and would be pleased if i continue with my order and then they offered me a new information that they are currently accepting more slots seeing that there will be additional stocks that will be arriving on the released date. they even stated the they will shipp it out as soon as the dispute was settled. i did my best to settle everything but when everything required from me by paypal was done and settled, i found out later that play asia refunded back my payment and cancelled my order which was going back on their reply earlier. i tried ordering again from them but the paypal option was removed for me and i had to resort to using my cc. i completed the form and again received an email from them saying they received my order. but on the next day, it was cancelled by them. i made some queries to them about the cancellation but they wont reply back anymore. im afraid to make another order from them again since it may just be the same as before. my only wish from now is if they could accept me again as a customer using my paypal account.

I recently purchased a Japanese CD from play-asia. It was an out of print CD of a not-so-popular artist, and they were the only retailer I could find that still carried it. Shipping has very quick and inexpensive for a product that had to come overseas. I couldn't have got it anyway else, so I'm glad that my only option was a good one. I will definitely look to buy from them in the future.

First purchase was a Nintendo DS game. Everything went without a hitch; timely confirmation and shipment notification e-mails, all within 24 hours.
My third purchase was a GBA game. I opted for a bubble envelop shipment package which I thought was sufficient. Play-Asia took the initiative to change it to the sturdier small parcel shipment package. I'm glad they did, otherwise my order would have been in terrible condition being stuffed into an envelop with little protection. Thanks for making a good judgment.
Every order comes with a handful of promotional stickers, but more importantly a USD5 off coupon with a minimum order of USD50. Not too bad.
Overall, timely delivery and hassle free experience. I'm a happy customer looking forward for my next purchase with Play-Asia. :)

I ordered a tri-wing screw driver from play-asia.com. I live in Canada, it took about 2 weeks from the time I ordered the screw driver to when I had it at my door. The price was the best I found (including shipping to Canada). Their website was easy to use, and I paid with paypal.

I recently ordered a Japanese Playstation2 and a pre-owned Limited Edition Beatmania Controller from Play Asia. Both items came quickly and very well packaged (with a complimentary Japanese Candy)! The prices on both items were very good due to a summer sale they were holding at the time. None the less, I scoured the internet and could not find a better deal on either item anywhere else!
Overall I am very satisfied with my purchases at Play Asia. I would heartily suggest them to my friends!

Play-Asia is an importers friend. I recently ordered a GP2X personal entertainment player from them. I made the order on a late Friday after business hours and it shipped on monday from Hong Kong and got here on tuesday to California. the package was carefully packed and neat and they even sent me some Chinese version of Poprocks for free. I thought they had charged me twice but in reality it was an authorization, then the actual charge so the second charge was dropped, When I e-mailed them about it I got a same day response explaining to me about it. Play-Asia is a great store and I would recommend them to anyone.

I ordered Wii component cables on May 21 and received them on May 29 with the cheapest shipping to Canada. Works as advertised. Way better than paying Nintendo 3x as much.

I've ordered twice from Play-Asia now, mostly cables, and have had absolutely no troubles with them. Their shipping is fast, even when ordering with the cheapest option, i.e. just about a week or less, which is really good for the price and distance (to Canada).
They have a nice selection of items, some of which are hard to find, especially for cheap prices (even compared to eBay), so that makes me appreciate their services even more.
I haven't had to deal with their customer service though, so I can't comment on that. This review was modified by its author, sunnymay, on

I had a bad experience ordering a very specific item off of ebay (Super Dual Box Pro PS2 to USB controller adapter) so I turned to Play Asia to get the correct item as advertised (rather than a cheap copy).
It took a bit longer than expected to process my order (about a week) but it arrived at my home in the eastern United States from Honk Kong in only 6 days! So it took around 2 weeks for a complete turn around but I got the item for an excellent price, the shipping costs were practically nothing ($3 I think) and most importantly I got the correct item and it works perfectly.
I will definitely deal with Play Asia again. By importing the REAL products directly from stores located in the country where the item is made, you bypass all of the problems related to counterfeit or defective imports from third parties (which is a huge problem with Chinese-made items like this).
Highly recommended, just remember to order ASAP since it may take a little while to get the item.

I ordered a psp camera from them jan. 31st and they said it shipped, still don't have it and then they charged my account again for the same order. I emailed them about the problem and they said they would take care of the second charge and then they charged me again? So I get charged three times for the same order. Since then I have had to cancel my debit card and cancel all future charges. I will never order through play asia again!
I did receive my order from play asia sooner than expected and the second and third charges have fallen off. Though the unnecessary frustration of the charge process has not changed my opinion of play asia. This review was modified by its author, eddiedamonster, on

I ordered an adapter so that I could use my PS2 controllers on my computer. Price was good, shipping was cheap. It took a while to get here, but I guess cheap shipping from Hong Kong would take some time. Adapter works great, they have all sorts of stuff to buy.

Grat prices, however the shipping is extremely slow if you get the cheapest shipping avaliable.

Smooth first purchase of two in-stock PVC figures from this retailer. Would have preferred extra cushioning (figure boxes fit snugly inside delivery box, which would have been poor protection if box had been dented in transit; luckily not in my case), but otherwise, a perfect transaction.
