I wish I knew this site before I placed my order!!
I ordered a digital camera thru on-line, but I forgot to put a 5-year warranty on the product, so I called them up to purchase the warranty. This is a long story,,, so I make it short. After I got an outrageous price on the warranty, I wanted to talk to their customer care manager. When I asked the rude representative if I can talk to the manager, the rude representative got furious at me and yelled at me with foreign accent, "what do you want? Fu**ing Chinese!! ( he repeated this cursing word on me over and over.) If you call us again, I'm gonna charge on your credit card." and he hung up on me. Can you believe that?? I was stunned by his psycho attitude.
The INS DIGITAL WORLD and ACCESSORIESLAND.COM ( they have one more business name, too. but I don't know the exact name.) have a negative impact on other great on-line shops.

Not a good deal. Placed an order through their web site. Travis calls me the next day to say they have my order, would I consider some additional products. I'm not interested, Travis says fine, your order will be sent out in a few days. Called back to confirm the order, the camera is on back order. The first thing each person asked me was 'did you order anything else besides the camera' which I interpreted to be 'is this an order we are going to bother with'. After fruitless discussion on in stock camera's I cancelled the order. During the process I was hung up on twice. Don't bother here. I canceled my amex card and reported them to the amex consumer fraud department. My opinion is that the core item for sale is a lure to sell add on's and insurance.

BEWARE! They are bunch of crooks that run a multitude of related and ever-changing on-line stores based in Brooklyn NY (and NJ). Their "too good to be true" prices also attracted my attention. However, I did my homework before ordering:

My advice: call them BEFORE placing any order and you will find out exactly what I did: if it's too good to be true, it probably is.

I recently tried to purchase a digital camera from INS. They followed the order up with a phone call. After I told them that I did not need to purchase a $129.00, 5 year warrenty for the camera, they told me that i could not buy the camera and hung up on me. I then called their customer service department to complain and to inquire if this was indeed their policy, he too hung up on me. I phoned back, to see if maybe we were just disconnected, this time the same person that tried to sell me the 5 year warrenty answered my customer service department call, and told me i could not have the camera and hung up on me again.
I WOULD NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! NEVER HAS A BUSINESS TREATED ME AS A PERSON, OR A CUSTOMER LIKE THIS.
VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!

Website doesn't accurately represent items as gray market products. Called to confirm order and the salesman attempted to sell multiple add ons. Saleman hung up on me after got him to admit the product was gray market and did not include warranty. I canceled the order.

Order the C-750 Digital Camera last night. Had the same experince as the rest. I too spoke to some guy who kept changing his, he tried to upsell me on the charger and the card with the same story- the batteries will leak, etc. I told him no thanks and he told me okay, you will get your camera in 6-7 weeks, I had signed up for next day delivery. I said "wait a minute." He said, " Your order is cancelled." I said "Fine, Cancel it," and he said, "it is canceled" This is truly bait and switch. He also told me he did not take discover, even thought that is what I put in the site form, so I gave him my Visa- This was before he told ne 6 weeks, etc. The site still does not say "out of stock." When I called to complain, they just hung up-etc. I asked one of them if they charged my card, they said-"We don't charge cards until we ship the camera."
I hope so- if you haven't purchased yet, do no- this is NOT A REPUTABLE COMPANY- in my opinion.

I believe this INS Digital WOrld to be the same phoney company as Starlight Cameras both in Brooklyn NY. Their websites look exactly the same except for the name. I placed an online order on 9/15/04 for a Casio digital camera. Received my email confirmation that day. Then on 9/19 got a phone call telling me they were calling to confirm my order and my credit card. Asked my name, address, reviewed my order, asked if I wanted to also buy memory or batteries or a charger or purchase the 5 yr warrenty. I declined these extras, then the caller said "we are cancelling your order because we don't have this camera available". I have never heard of such a thing!! I am led to believe my order is just being confirmed, then it is cancelled? I have heard of companies cancelling orders when the buyer is unwilling to add on the extras. This is unethical business practice. The caller also cut me off so I couldn't ask questions and hung up on me. I call back, got someone named Eric who sounded like the same person, though he denied it, and he was extremely rude on the phone. He had no explanation for the previous phone call, simply said "what do you want me to do? We don’t have the camera available? Then he HUNG UP ON ME!!
Beware of these two companies!

Man I wish I had found this site earlier. I ordered an Olympus C-740 from the site. Upon getting my order confirmation it says that I need to contact them to "confirm your order." Upon contacting them the sales agent tells me that the camera does not contain batteries…big red flag…..but for first time customers they are running a special on a charger and batteries for $69.00. I tell the agent that I am not interested but would like to know if the camera has the standard Olympus warranty. I was interrupted by...what good is a warranty without batteries. I tell him again that I am not interested and then he tells me "I am through talking to you" and hangs up. I check my order status and it says cancelled, which is great. All I wanted was a camera for a good price and all I got was a scam. I expect more from a Yahoo shopping merchant. Do not buy from this store.
