Avoid!!!!!!
Ordered 2 sticks of memory from this company. The memory came in a large box with NO padding. Memory was free floating in box outside of its static protected bag. One stick of the memory was unstable. They have not responded to my RMA request and a General Request to their service department and have not returned a phone call. Avoid!!!!!!

BEWARE! Bait and Switch... Avoid this dealer! They charge you if you RMA. False Item descriptions. Shipped a refurbed Mouse they listed as bulk and it was DOA. They then charged me $7 on the refund for shipping. If you order from them just hope you dont get a dead product. If you... expect to get ripped off. Look closely at their return policy... I wish I did... Pitiful... the very worse dealer I have ever purchased from.Thought I was saving money and ended up costing me... Dont order unless you have money to burn

The Printer that I ordered was not shiped thay sent a cheeper printer than what was ordered and did not ship the USB cable till I called and asked about it that wanted me to pay for shippinh to send the printer back to them when it was there mistake in shipping the wrong printer and refussed to send a call-tag and ship what I ordered what a JOKE of an outfit I buy close to $20,000 a year in computer parts and know who got screwed out of a good account ???????

I ordered four Samsung 1GB PC3200 DDR 400 at a cost of $247.92 on March 27, 2007.
On April 5, 2007 I emailed them stating that I have yet to receive my merchandise. They responded, and I quote:
"Final delivery for this item is through the Post Office. Though most packages are delivered within 5 business days few shipments can take a
bit longer. Please allow until the end of this week for the package to arrive. IF nothing turns up please contact us Monday and we will arrange
to have the item re-shipped."
So, I waited until the end of the week. NO DELIVERY.
In the original email, they gave me a tracking number for use through the usps.com. I plugged that number into the usps.com site and was given a "Status: Electronic Shipping Info Received". That's it. Info received. Hmm, yeh... gearxs.com shipped my product and I'm Donald Trump.
So, since I don't like getting ripped off, I called VISA and did a charge-back. Now not only does gearxs.com not get my money, but they get chargedd $25 for the charge-back.
For all of you that have trouble with this or any other company, all you need to do is dispute the charges and let the retailer deal with VISA, MASTERCARD, or whichever one you used. If you call the merchant, they could care less (well, some actually care about their customers), but when VISA or MASTERCARD come calling, it gets the merchant's attention.
Gearxs.com will never be my problem again. Don't let it be yours.

This place is horrible. I decided to order a NVidia 5200 FX video card w/ 128MB through them regardless before I checked with ResellerRatings.com - Well - I guess you get what you pay for. They sent me a 16 MB NVidia "Vanta-16" - not even close - After reading the reviews here, I'm deciding on if its worth it or not to attempt to even try and RMA it to get the one that I should have gotten.
I will definitely _never_ do business with them again.

Low prices - Their mistakes cost the customer.
I ordered two PC133 DIMMS. I was sent two PC2700 SDRAMs. I had to go to a local store and buy the PC133 DIMMs as I had a deadline for my project.
I paid $58.61. I was refunded $47.98. It cost me 10.63 (plus around $6 return shipping) for what was a GearXS mistake.
I've submitted feedback through GearXS' web site, and I've called with no satisfaction.

Took 2 weeks to ship out my mouse, when i FINALLY got it it came broken, pieces of the mouse were missing. I sent in an RMA and they got back to me, i got an email stating the mouse had been shipped. 2 days later i ask about the status of my RMA and they tell me its back ordered...how are they gonna tell a customer that somethings been shipped than tell them 2 days later that its back ordered. BS, total BS. So i just asked for a refund they said, "We will issue refund for you." so i was ok at least theyll do that. Been 12 days...still nothing. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE THEY DONT GIVE A CRAP ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS.

They sent me the wrong items and would do nothing for me but admit fault... no free overnight shipping of the correct items, no discount, wouldn't cross ship the correct items, nothing... I will use someone else next time!!!

They charged 15% restocking fee for the defective item I returned.
It is violation of their policy I agreed because they said they will charge restocking fee for non-defective item.
They keep saying they tested the returned product and it was OK, but I know it is not.
You'd better not buying the Biostar socket A board from them because you would receive the one I returned!

Update is They did ship a replacement.Just seemed to be a lack of communication.
Apparently others were right about Customer service not being good. I have ordered many times and shipping was fast, prices were good allthough return times are useually 6 days. Then I had a Modem that started out workingfor a day or two then started going downhill. I didn't notice for a while that the Invoice said 30 days return but had time to obtain an RMA. Shipped it back and got a confirmation.(RMA ITEM RECEIVED

Surprisingly fast shipping(although they're a state away) and the lowest prices anywhere for a lot of items.
Happy with the OEM wireless mouse although the range was vastly exaggerated(claimed ~300ft with a 12ft range mouse.)
Modems have always worked fine, same for network cards.
Got a wrong item (RJ-45 connectors instead of boots) and have to RMA it despite both being less than shipping costs. Have yet to decide if I care that much. This review was modified by its author, nakartidotcom, on

I have been trying to resolve a dispute with Gearxs for almost three months. I gave them plenty of time to make it right, but now I've had it. I ordered a wireless mouse and usb lan adapter on 9-9-06. Received them 9-14-06. Both items were crammed into a modem box. The mouse was actually bending the box because it didn't fit. Mouse didn't work at all, lan adapter wouldn't stay connected. Requested and received rma. Sent both items Back in same box. Return receipt says they received the items 9-25-06. Heard nothing for two weeks. Emailed them 10-9-06 they said it would be processed by the end of the week. Received email 10-11-06 saying they shipped replacement for mouse. No word on the lan adapter. Received second mouse and it was not only dead, but the serial numbers were blacked out. Emailed them from their site, no answer. Sent another email 10-22-06 complaining about the second dead mouse and what about the lan adaptor. They issued a second rma for the second dead mouse. I sent it back. On 11-17-06 they issued me a credit for five dollars less than what I paid for the mouse. Still no word on the lan adapter. After numerous emails, they are now claiming I never sent back the lan adapter, even though it was sent back to them along with and in the same box the first dead mouse was received in. Furthermore, at least four-hundred-and-fifty of the positive feed back posted at Pricewatch concerning Gearxs are fraudulent, posted in batches of as many as 49 in a 31 minute period. Some customers are lucky, do you really want to take the chance? If a company is that unscrupulous, how can you possibly trust them? I'm contacting the Illinois Better Business Bureau and the Cook County State Attorney General to lodge complaints, as well as the FTC as the poster below suggests. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I ordered an AGP card with TV-out, they shipped me a PCI card with no TV-out. I got an RMA, then they re-shipped another of the wrong product! Complete with a copy of my e-mail requesting a TV-out card! Not once did gearxs offer to refund my shipping and now I'm stuck with this crappy card that I didn't order because their arcane return policy would actually wind up costing me more than the card is worth. this is a bait-and-switch company. I encourage all to go to http://www.consumer.gov/sentinel/ and file a complaint with the FTC. This is the only way to help try to stop this fraud.

I purchased a tiga motheboard socket A, if you want drivers extra cost, if you want a manuel extra cost, if you want a warrenty longer than 7 days extra cost, if you want it to work when it arrives extra cost. No plate offered to match mb output/input devices. Motherboard arrived doa. I had to pay to ship it back- payed $43.98 for the board and after spending a little over $50 was given a $32.38 credit - no explanation why from the vendor. I order a computer case to salvage what was left of my investment. The case came with the top and both sides bent up and the panel that holds the motherboard caved in. I could bend all the metal with my fingers including the power supply box, 3 of the plastic supports on the front panel were broken and it could flap in the wind. The cardboard box that the case came in was almost in perfect condition. The motherboard serial number was 0203 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12. Are there any consumer protection laws or an attorney general's office in the state Gearxs operates out of. I will never buy anything from any vendor in this state.

I ordered 7 modems and 4 sticks of RAM from Gearsxs, the modems arrived on time, but no memory. I called and was told that the RAM will arrive soon or I'd get a call. No Memory, no call after 8 days. I called again and informed them that I wanted my memory, afterall I had paid for it 8 days earlier, it must be mine...I also told them that their modems don't work with Windows 2000. The response was to offer me other RAM for a higher price; I was kinda hoping for some sort of apology and maybe an offer of an upgrade for my patience. An order of 7 modems should have told them that I probably deal with more than one computer (as a matter of fact, I can use up those 7 modems in a couple of weeks). In conclusion: poor service, poor products and poor attitude, I won't be ordering from them again.
I was able to RMA the modems through the manufacturer. Got new retail boxed modems for the OEM modems sent by GearsXS. This review was modified by its author, xilef, on
