DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER!!!!!They are putting defective products back on the shelf and selling at retail plus shipping, after they charged somebody else shipping and bench testing fees on the defective item. They gave me store credit for an amount that was $11.00 less than I payed for the part ALSO MINUS THE 7.00 SHIPPING FEE IT COST ME TO SEND IT BACK. IT took 2 days for the short in the power supply to happen in my pc and they hooked it up for 20 minutes and found the item to be good. Here is the review:RMA ITEM RECEIVED

Placed order for a Logitech keyboard and MX Revolution Mouse on November 24. Here is a brief summary of what I received:
The Keyboard - came with a PS2 connector. Their web site specifically said it was OSX compatible. No Apple computer has ever had a PS2 connector. So I contacted them and they sent me an RMA# and a promise to send a FedEX call tag for pickup.
In the meantime, the mouse would not work. After a few back-and-forth emails, they finally said that the mouse needed to be "connected" with the receiver and sent me instructions (for Windows). I took the mouse to work where I could use a Windows computer - I followed directions EXACTLY - 4 times with no success. I had our technology coordinator give it a try and she got nowhere but frustrated. She confirmed that it did not work.
GearXS issued an RMA for that item as well.
_____
So - with an RMA that only lasts for 14 days (if they do not receive the merchandise back within the 14 day window, they do not accept it back) - I am waiting for the promised FedEX pick-up and label. A week later, nothing. So I sent the package back on my own ($9) which I was informed they would not reimburse, even thought they never delivered on the promised shipping label and pickup.
they got the package back last Friday. This morning, after emailing them yet again to inquire about the status, they replied with the following:
Dear GearXS Customer,
You will be issued a full refund for the Logitech Elite Keyboard/Clavier LE as this was a mistake on the part of GearXS. As for the Logitech MX Revolution Mouse the technician followed the same steps that were e-mailed to you and it connected on the first attempt. Full tests show that the mouse has no issues or defects. If you choose to have the mouse shipped back to you then there will be a charge of $8.50 which covers testing, shipping and handling.
If you choose to be refunded for the Logitech MX Revolution Mouse then there will a 15% restocking fee applied to the refund.
Below is a summary of the test results by our technician.

TECHNICIAN COMMENT : REQUEST FULL REFUND ON THE KEYBOARD FOR FALSE ADVERTISING. MOUSE CONNECTED ON FIRST ATTEMPT, CUSTOMER FAILED TO FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS THAT WERE E-MAILED TO HIM.

-------------
I particularly liked the last part - "customer failed to follow the instructions that were e-mailed to him."
Lets see - I consider myself to be moderately technically savvy, and our tech person is pretty good. We both followed the instructions EXACTLY and REPEATEDLY with no success.
So I am penalized $8.50 for them to send the same mouse back to me, or pay a 15% restocking fee for the mouse if I don't want it back. After I paid for return shipping already.

I purchased a motherboard from these people via a ebay buy it now auction. It arrived quickly but was DOA. I contacted them to get a RMA, which they supplied in a timely fashion. I shipped the motherboard back to them, and they received it on 10-24-07 according to the USPS tracking on the package (but I never did receive a confirmation from them that they received the motherboard). I heard nothing from them, so I tried to contact them by email as well as by phone. They weren't in there office to answer the phone during the listed office hours and didn't respond to any emails I sent them. I tried to contact them again on 11-02-07 via the contact form on their website asking for a update, and again received no response. I finally issued a claim with PayPal to get a refund, and didn't hear anything until 11-09-07. The response that I got was "CALL CUSTOMER - OUT OF STOCK - ALEX" followed up by the request for update that I submitted to their contact form. So yes, a cryptic response a full 14 days after they received the motherboard was the only indication that I got that they didn't have a replacement. I was able to get a hold of them again by their contact page (apparently the only thing that they occasionally check) and they did issue a refund later that day. But please, if you're out of stock on something please contact the customer to tell them, rather then sit around for two weeks until the customer finally can hound a answer from you. Not acceptable, one of the worst retailers I've dealt with. I was checking on their ebay feedback and it looks like they're no longer a registered user with ebay, so it definitely sounds like a fly by night operation. If you buy from them expect to get broken products and to never hear from them or your money again.

I enjoyed my shopping experience with GearXS very much. I got a box of stuff for $30 most of which would normally be $30 each.
BUT I believe this vendor deals in culls or seconds. Every item I received is .. a little broken. Usable, but not in perfect shape. Buy at your own risk.
I will buy from this vendor again, but I will be more careful about what kind of business I choose to send their way. This review was modified by its author, Usarian, on

BUYER BEWARE. I Purchased a DVD-CD rom on Nov. 1. It arrived and did not work. I had to pay for shipping to return it. Replacement arrived Nov 19, and IT DID NOT WORK EITHER. ASKED FOR REFUND. Will never order from them again. Cost me more for shipping back. Their discounted prices means nothing. Their merchandise does not work. ORDER ELSEWHERE.

I ordered a web cam from these people. The item arrived...minus the cord which I had to pay extra for and the base. I got a round ball, that's it. I emailed them and they sent out a cord for it that didn't fit but no base. I have emailed them 7 times and still have not gotten a response back and I still have a totally useless web cam. It looks like I'm going to have to dispute the charge with my credit card company like the comment below mine. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.

What they sent me was not what was advertised on the website. I took a screenshot before I called them due to an uneasy feeling. Sure enough, when I called after the return, they argued that it never claimed misrepresent the product.
Needless to say, I had to dispute with my credit card to get the full refund I was owed.
NEVER order from these guys.

While the prices at this store are pretty cheap, don't expect great service. I ordered two Logitech MX 3200 mouse/keyboard combinations from them, only to receive two different Logitech mouse/keyboard combinations. After I called, they said they would send FedEx to pick up the package the next day, which was done.
After 2 weeks after FedEx picked up the package of two keyboards, I finally called back asking about my new shipment, and they checked and saw that the return package was picked up, but the new one hadn't been shipped yet. I confirmed my order of (2) two mouse/keyboard combinations, they said they would get it shipped the next day. I received a package a few days with only ONE keyboard/mouse combination. I had to call back again and explain what happened and they saw even on their invoice that they had only re-shipped me one. Incompetent service at best.
Also, their hours are a lax 10-4 central time, making it very difficult to actually get a hold of them for the rest of the working world.
I would not buy from them again.

I purchased two new motherboards from these folks (I'm being kind). One worked fine the other was DOA. They would not honor any type of exchange because they only have a 14 day return policy. So, I'm basically stuck with a useless board and I still need to repair the machine.
I am beginning to really hate dealing with asian imigrants .....
DON'T TAKE THE CHANCE...Take your business to someone that knows something about customer service...

I made an ebay auction buy from gearXS for software. They shipped it out with an incomplete address (my fault). They should have not shipped without a complete address (their fault). Customer service was argumenative on three out of four calls to them. I never did get the software and am told I will get a refund. I will not deal with them again.

They seem to be nothing more than a fraud racket. Their idea of "refurbished" was to send me an item clearly broken (headphones with a slice through the cord).
What's the catch? Return fees. I bought this with "free shipping", and their return policy is that I pay not only my own shipping costs, but theirs as well, with a $5 minimum. I'm sure they know it's not in my interest to pay $5 plus my own shipping costs to get back my $9, at least not when I'm reasonably handy with a soldering iron and perhaps can fix this myself.
The fact remains they are selling broken hardware as "refurbished". This is clearly fraudulent.

I ordered 2 sticks of memory from GearXS.com. When I received them, they did not work. I went through their cryptic return process, and they received my return on 09/10/2007. After days of hearing nothing from them, I started sending emails requesting a status. After 2 such emails, I got the following response: "WE DID RECEIVED YOUR RMA , WE WILL ISSUE REFUND FOR YOU"
That's it. No indication of when the refund will be received or what's holding it up.
I was referred to GearXS.com by the pricewatch.com website. Pricewatch gives this seller a rating of 3.5 out of 5 stars. After I started having problems, I went back to Pricewatch to give negative feedback. When I actually checked the reviews, I found tons of recent negative feedback. I have no idea how they get a rating of 3.5.
This is partially my fault for not doing more research. Hopefully, I can help spread the word and prevent others from making the same mistake.

I was concerned about this store after reading some of the reviews here. But I decided to take a chance because they had the best price on some motherboards I needed AND they had them in stock. I was pleasantly surprised when I received my order just three days later. The motherboards are exactly what I ordered and they work just fine. What else can you ask for?

Same sh*t, different day. I recieved different modems than the ones I ordered. Emailed, filled out forms, called and called only to get the run around. So I looked up the company here and realize I need to just contact my bank and reverse the charges than spend any more time fooling with these jerks.
