I was looking for a new laptop about a year ago and just happened by this gem of a company. XoticPC goes above and beyond all levels of service. Let’s break it down.
Sales Team: 11 out of 10
I knew little about the products they sold, but knew what requirements I wanted. The employees were all extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They didn't try to push me into a product I didn't need just to sell me more, and actually encouraged me to get the most bang for my buck. They have a great community of very satisfied customers who stick around on the website's forums to help others choose a product or make recommendations for specific needs.

The products they sell are of very high quality and go through a rigorous testing phase to weed out bad parts. I have been a member of the forums for almost a year and can count on one hand the number of times I have heard of parts failing (there are close to 700 members who post on the forums, making the failure rate of around 0.7%).
Price: 11 out of 10
Some places online offer a 2-5% discount below a competitor’s regularly priced product. XoticPC does the leg work for you and offers you the 3% cash discount and the lowest price on the web. A quick search today for the Sager NP5796 brings prices as follows

This may be the one thing XoticPC has not perfected, though I’m not sure I would want them to. You don’t rush an artist, you don’t rush a cook. If you want a really nice product you spend time making sure you have it before delivering. XoticPC does and extensive burn-in on all of its notebooks which adds some time to the final product. I must say though, they do ship as soon as they feel satisfied that it has the quality you deserve. I personally had pre-ordered the NP5792 in November and it was released the 2 weeks before Christmas. After a week of extensive testing, they began construction and shipping of the new notebooks. I received my notebook the day before Christmas Eve without the extra accessories that I had ordered. When I questioned them about this, they told me that they wanted me to have the laptop as soon as possible and will ship the backordered accessories when they arrived. I couldn’t have been happier with there choice.
Integrity: 11 out of 10
XoticPC doesn’t jump onto every bandwagon technology that comes around which gives them a little more credibility than the next reseller. For instance, when everyone started selling the solid state drives XoticPC held off until they knew how the product would perform and decided not to include it when they learned of its flaws. They also won’t build a system with memory that is clocked higher than what the system can recognize just to make an extra buck. Also, as I mentioned before they won’t try to sell you just the biggest and the best. They will find out what you need, how much you were planning on spending, and working off of those parameters. This is the most honest company I have ever run across and will never switch back to the big-names in the business.
Support: 11 out of 10
The tech-support offered is amazing. Between the 24/7 DOMESTIC telephone support, the same-day response e-mail support and regularly answered forums support… there is always someone who knows how to handle a problem. When a RMA is in order it is handled quickly and with the utmost professionalism. I have heard of DVD rom drives going bad and the company shipping a replacement drive ASAP. Any software and driver issues that arise can be dealt with by checking the forums and getting detailed directions on how to update software.
Overall, I trust them. They are reasonably fast at delivering an amazing product and making sure that they have satisfied customers. I was very disappointed when I had ordered a mini-laptop from another reseller a week before they started pre-orders for an even better mini. I will always look to XoticPC first for all my notebook needs. They have a VERY satisfied customer in me!

I hate to ruin these guys perfect ten, but unfortunately I just hit a rock in the road that is a bit disapointing. Overall I would recommend Xotic PC a million times over, it was a great buying experience with amazing customer service. My only issue is that 2 days ago I recieved a call telling me that the tv-tuner I ordered would delay my order (which is fine), so I decided not to have the tv tuner installed and instead have the money put towards overnight shipping (I previously had ground). Apparently this change got lost somewhere down the line and when I checked my email this morning I got a tracking number that showed my order still as ground shipping. Long story short I'll be waiting until next wednsday for my laptop that should have been here today. This is not meant to turn anyone away at all, I will definately be doing business here again, the overall shopping experience was wonderful. Just as with all aspects with life, no one is perfect.

XoticPC has to be one of the most professional and caring companies that I have ever dealt with. I discovered them during my search for my college laptop, and at first I was skeptical about ordering from a lesser known vendor. I decided to check them out on the forums at notebookreview.com and to my surprise found an employee of XoticPC, Justin, answering peoples questions in the forums. I was very impressed by his involvement and dedication to communication with the customers. Needless to say this won over my doubts and I ordered a Sager NP2090 from the company that very night. For those of you not familiar with this particular notebook, at the time of my ordering it had not yet been released, and although I did not know it at the time I was at the end of a very long line eager purchasers of this laptop. So began a veeeeery long wait, but I would like to impress upon you that this wait was in no way XoticPC's fault, they were waiting on the manufacturer. Over the next month I made several changes to my order, I also would e-mail Justin somewhat frequently for any updates on my order. Not only was he extremely prompt in his response, but Justin was also very polite and possibly more importantly very patient. I have just recieved my notebook yesterday, July 31st, in terrific condition and although the wait was long I have no regrets. XoticPC showed a level of professionalism and involvement that I have not witnessed in any other company, barring Newegg. I would strongly encourage anyone looking for a high quality notebook at an unbeatable price to check out the great guys at XoticPC.com.

After months of researching new laptops and re-sellers, I decided on the Sager 9260 and chose Xotic pc as my re-seller. I know now that I made the right choice on both! I cannot say enough about the great experience I've had purchasing through Xotic. Justin was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and I was kept well informed throughout the process while I waited for Sager to start shipping the laptops. My 9260 arrived on Monday ( whooohooo!!, in perfect condition and everything is exactly as I ordered and working well. I am a very satisfied customer and one that will definitely return to Xotic the next time I need a laptop.
I highly recommend Xotic PC to anyone shopping for a laptop.

I ordered a Sager 5760 laptop from XoticPC.com on April 22. I screwed up when ordering and chose the wrong payment type. They promptly called the next morning and made the needed corrections over the phone for my purchase to be processed.
I received email updates throughout the build process. The laptop shipped and arrived in the timeframe that I expected.
Very good service and price for the product I ordered. I will definitely purchase from them again. Unfortunately for them, the laptop I purchased has awesome specs and should last me for quite some time.

This company is good vendor. They always provide information every single time that I need. I just received my products two days ago, everything is in good condition without any damages. Also, the product that comes with laptops also in good quality which is the best when compare with other brands. Since my friends came to look at my new laptop, now they are likely to order from them...Finally, I want to thinks Xotic and their staff for all information and my gratest laptop, I'm very very satisfy. You're the best!!!!

My experience with Xotic PC started off right away in the right direction - live chat!
After a horrible experience with another vendor that lasted a month and a half and NO laptop in my hands (talk about wasted time and effort) I was really careful of my shopping experience.
I treated carefully onto Xotic PC’s website looking to grill them and make sure they truly do have “customer service” and not just saying they do. I wanted to be sure that, unlike the last merchant, they were good to their words, sincere, and honest.
I clicked “Live Chat” with a host of questions. Amber picked up on the other end within a few seconds (literally) and handled my questions like a champ.
Not only did she answer the technical questions I had, she also freely gave her own personal opinions (some of which even SAVED me money) when I asked for them. (I hope Xotic PC doesn’t mind my saying this… well… just ask them about ASUS and how they handle any dead pixel warranties; you’ll be grateful you asked. I know I was!
To put it shortly, throughout the whole process they were very patient with me (and my questions) and NEVER did they try to convince me that I really should be spending more for a bigger laptop… (This is something the last merchant did, he mentioned that I should be looking at his 17” laptops and NOT the 14.1” I was interested in.)
They were easy to contact (email, phone, and online chat) and very friendly to talk to!
I ended up getting the FORCE 3547 ASUS A8JS, and even though I had to skimp on a few options (limited budget), I still love the machine!
The ASUS laptop came in the time frame I was promised (it took the last merchant a month and a half to get me my machine). And get this! There were no scratches on the machine! (The last merchant’s machine had a scratch on it… and rather than agreeing to fix it he basically told me that if I send it back, he would NOT fix it but rather, refund me the money. That is what I did.)
ANNNND, the ASUS laptop actually came with a manual, the appropriate CDs, the mouse, a bag and well, it’s just well-packaged. It actually looks like it came from a place where the laptop was cared for, wrapped professionally, and well protected. The last merchant… you get the idea.
It’s these little things that really do make a difference. In the end, the product they shipped was as promised - high quality. (Unlike the product the last merchant sent to me. The merchant even admitted that he felt the laptop he sent was "junk".)
Dealing with Xotic PC has been a pleasure. I just got done chatting with Justin from Xotic PC and he was very happy and eager to answer the additional questions I had for him.
I feel comfortable and confident doing business with Xotic PC and will continue to do so.

I spent the better part of a week researching a new laptop. I knew what I wanted and how I wanted it configured. I finally settled on XoticPC.
From the first time I chatted with Justin, one of their sales reps, I knew I was in for a treat.
The level of personal service these guys gave me was phenomenal. The whole order process, from customer service to shipping speed was superb. If you're in the market for a new laptop, give these guys a look, and you won't be disappointed!

I ordered an ASUS G1 laptop from Xotic PC and it came in good working order. Justin there was very helpful and got my laptop out to me and I received it in about 4 days. I have had the laptop for over a month and have done extensive testing on the unit and everything on it seems to work just fine! My laptop has Vista HP on it. The only issue is that NVidia needs to get in gear and develop drivers that are fully compatible with Vista. I know they are working on it. That would be my only complaint. No fault of Asus or Xotic PC.
I will be doing business with them again in the future!

I have purchased a Sager NP-5760 from XoticPC about a month ago. I have had plenty of time to test it and the conclussion is: you can't go wrong with either (the laptop OR the company!).
Justin was very polite, knowledgeable and supportive during all the process. When I needed some feedback, I had all the answers I needed within the day.
The box arrived safely, on a timely manner. Laptop worked just wonderfully well right out of it!
I will definetely have XoticPC in mind next time I am on the market for a computer.
All in all, GREAT buying experience.

I ordered an ASUS V1JP with extra RAM while on vacation in New Hampshire. XoticPC was able to get the notebook to me in perfect condition in about 24 hours, which is astoundingly quick service. Justin and Amber were very helpful in clearing up all the particulars of a last minute order, including getting the new notebook out the door the same day it was ordered.

Great Service, friendly people. I ordered a Compal HGL30 notebook, but my bank delayed the wire transfer to Xotic PC. They never complained and continued building my system though they haven't received the money in time. The notebook was packed safely and shipped promptly. Afterwards, when i needed customer support, Justin was friendly, helpful and knowlegable.

Outstanding experience! I looked far and wide for an Asus G1 with Windows XP. Finally locating one at Xotic, Justin answered all of my questions and held the system until my Paypal echeck cleared. I got the system in 2 days, which is outstanding for Hawaii. The system runs like a dream and I am more than happy. My future laptop purchases will start with Xotic.

After a few months of searching and many phone calls and emails. I settled on XoticPC as my builder. I even had a few phone calls to Alienware under my belt. However, Justin and the folks at XoticPC blew them away! I received my laptop exactly as promised in a very safe and secure packaging with ZERO damage. After opening the package and firing up my new Sager NP5760, I was amazed right from the start. I've built many desktops myself, but decided that I wanted a gaming laptop, but I was not impressed with many off the selve models and wanted NO part of Vista which hasn't proven anything for the gaming world as of yet. All the bigboys out there including Alienware do NOT build with XP unless your going SLI. XoticPC does, and thats what I wanted. The free Vista upgrade coupon provided will give me Vista when it's a better system. Then I will (maybe) install it. Well crafted and very stable performance along with a clean installation made me feel like I had choosen the best builder out there. If this company continues to offer the quality in workmanship, great service and competetive pricing, this will be the builder to beat! A 10 out of 10 in my eyes! You won't be sorry you ordered from XoticPC at all.

Good product, had a little problem getting the extended warranty. However, Justin at XoticPC contacted me right away regarding this issue. He is probably the only reason, I am taking the time to edit my post and give change my rating to a positive one. Well, he quickly contacted the warranty department (a third party) and fixed the issue. Aparently there was some miscommunication and the issue was resolved. I was given next day shipping (ground because the company is in NJ and I am in MD). Overall, the transaction seems to have finished well with a few bumps here and there. Xotic made a custom-build Compal Hel-80 (laptop computer) for me. Communication was excellent both individually, and Justin at Xotic appears frequently on online forums. The machine arrived in the expected timeframe, even though I'd ordered a CPU that wasn't available at the time of purchase. Packaging was more than adequate, and they even upgraded my shipping to make sure I had the weekend to play with the machine. Very good experience.
