I was originally a little bit skeptical ordering from a company I had never heard of. After all, I had ordered off brands before, and I can't tell you how many times I've been had. I bought an off brand MP3 player that was supposed to compete with the iPhone (from a brand whose name I will not mention because at least I have a little respect), and the thing was a piece of junk. So when I first ordered from Xotic, it was only because of the reviews I had seen. Customers praised XoticPC for their outstanding service. First timers (like myself) switching over from Dell, Toshiba, HP, and even Alienware were amazed at how well Xotic handled their order, and how fast the laptop got to them. So I ordered my NP8660 with a little bit of doubt in the back of my head, thinking it was all too good to be true. Now, after two weeks of having my laptop, I can honestly say that every single review that you read out there that praises XoticPC for their customer service is absolutely right. The laptop arrived right on schedule, I recieved several calls and emails confirming said schedule, and that schedule was as quick as I've ever seen. Obviously, the prices there are litterally unbeatable. I attemted to search for a lower proce on ANY model based on the M860TU, and couldn't find one, especially a custom build. The laptop itself is the best laptop I've ever owned. It does everything want it to do quickly, and obviously games like no other. There is simply a certain feel of high quality about the entire process. This was my first time buying though XoticPC, and it will most certainly not be my last. I encourage everyone looking for a high end laptop and great service to try them.

I purchased the Sager NP5796 from XoticPC, and it is without a doubt the most powerful and amazing "portable" gaming laptop on the market. Top of the line features such as the Intel Montivina CPU, DDR3, the world most powerful mobile GPU (9800M GTX), and many other features, all covered in an attractive design, made this system the best choice of any system available. While I use the system for high end gaming from time to time, I also run a lot of professional apps such as Adobe's Photoshop CS3, Sony's Vegas, and E-On Software's Vue 6 applications. The NP5796 excels in the power processing these applications demand, yet when the work load is light, the hardware scales back beautifully and provides an amazing battery life. Sager claims 1-2 hours of battery on this system, however, I have been able to squeeze almost 4 hours out of it under office use. If you need a top end system for professional and gaming use, but don't want the weight, battery life, and size of the NP9262, this is your system. Dealing with XoticPC is amazing. I've never worked with a better company that manages so well. The techs I've spoken to were all American and spoke perfect english (YES!). I have recommended this company to everybody I can, and can guarantee you'll never buy from the "Big Guys" ever again...

I settled on XoticPC after reading pages and pages of positive customer reviews raving about their product performance, build quality, customer service, and warranty coverage. I placed my order on the 22nd of August and a few weeks later it arrived in pristine condition. That's after I contacted XoticPC to change some aspects of my initial order, and moved to a new place of residence. Along the way, XoticPC clearly stated what they needed from me to confirm addresses and order changes. I really can't see how it could have been more convenient, honestly. It added a little time onto the overall ship date, but that's to be expected with changes made from the customer after the order is placed.  
As far as the laptop I got, it is, in a word, ridonculous. Check your dictionaries. Couldn't be happier with it. No garbage installed on the system. I downloaded the latest video card drivers from laptopvideo2go.com and within minutes was blasting through Very High DX10 Crysis. It's a beast of a system, to be sure. Sure, battery life is limited to say the least, but this desktop replacement is an amazing piece of technology that will be a well-loved toy of mine for years to come.  
A huge plus for me being a relatively inexperienced PC user/modifier was the fact that XoticPC has their own forum page where you can sign in and interact with the community members and even cooler XoticPC employees monitor the forums and answer questions and offer tips and advice on further optimizing your system. In a few years when I'm in the market for the next latest-and-greatest I know where I'm going. XoticPC.

One of the best and easiest purchases I`ve ever made.  
Justin was awesome during all the time, and tell you what, I even got some free screws when I lost mine, easy and friendly support, and you`ll know that somebody REAL takes care of your computer needs.  
10/10 , already did a few recommandations to my friends, will continue to do so!  
My Sager was one of the smartest buys I ever did and my next powerhouse will be another one, most definitely from Xotic!

I recently bought a MSI MS-1651 Barebone from Xotic PC, and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. The notebook was great in almost every way, but what was even more outstanding is their service. All E-Mails are replied to within 24 hours, and oftentimes even much sooner. Justin even goes the extra mile to find out exactly what stage it was in production and also find out how I'm doing with my new laptop. My experience with them is nothing less than memorable, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.

I had ordered a desktop a couple of years ago with Cyberpower, and came away very disastified. I looked into purchasing a laptop and was considering the stores nearby, like circuit city, best buy, etc. I did some research on laptops and found the name Sager had great reviews and longevity. I visit a few forums reading what people had to say and in most cases I kept seeing XoticPC. So i decided based on the super comments for Xoticpc, i would join the forum and ask people their opinion.  
 
I was amazed at the great people, actual users who purchased or was researching to purchase a new laptop. They were so friendly, offering help in chosing what was right for me and budget.  
 
I finally decided that i needed someone who i can always depend on to give me help when i needed, and Xoticpc always was there for everyone. They take care of their customers, make sure to go through all extra steps to test the finished pc. It was also great to be able to customize the computer to what you want. In my case i wanted xp pro, intead of Vista. No problem.  
 
I also was thrilled to get a skin of my choosing put on. my laptop is my own special design and I love it. I took my new toy to work, and a couple of the guys had purchased new pc's (Gateway-HP). They benchmarked theirs and mine and Sager/Xoticpc beat them out. Super laptop, very professionally done.  
 
Thank you XoticPc for giving such great support, and knowing that if i need anything, I can always count on you.

This is the best  notebook I have ever owned... period. Before this I owned an overpriced Vaio, the performance is unbelievable, the fit and finish are perfect. All the little things that make a notebook great are there, the screen hinges are tight with no play, the touchpad is perfect. Keyboard is nice, all the ports are arranged well. The screen (I got the 1900X1200) is very impressive, crystal clear and I had not 1 dead pixel. Unlike some manufacturers who have moved the screen closer to the keyboard when closed (To shave some height) clevo has kept the screen stood off enough to never allow the keyboard to touch the screen. I would highly suggest that you purchase this laptop over any other 17" gaming notebook. The price is right, and the notebook is superb. Not to mention the Customer Service at Xotic is unsurpassed.   I had the notebook only 2 days after order.  A++++ to XOTIC PC, they took care of my order promptly and provided some of the best customer service I have ever seen.

When first contacting XoticPC I didn't know what to expect. I have had a lot of bad experiences with other "Brand Name" companies so I took some advice from a friend to order from a couple different websites. After looking around those sites I got a good idea what I wanted but didn't like the prices. I started looking around more and stumbled across XoticPC. I emailed them and the same day got a response back. I was amazed how fast they responded, so I sent another email. 15 minutes went by and I had my response. The technical support is amazing, they answered all of my questions, good or bad. I like the feeling of knowing what to expect and knowing there is no catch involved with any of their business. I ordered from them and although an initial glitch in the payment process they quickly worked with me personally to get it resolved. Laptop came very nicely packed and when I found out I had ordered the wrong memory, they contacted Sager (the laptops manufacturer) for me and got it settled, within a couple hours I received word from XoticPC that a free replacement RAM module was just shipped free of charge and I was given a tracking number and instructions to return the unwanted modules. That is what I call customer service. Top quality, best of the best. If you love customer service, you will love XoticPC.

This is the promised followup to our shopping experience as stated below. We received a call from the manager the afternoon after our order had been packed up and picked up by UPS. Day late and dollar short so to speak. They apologized for the service and asked what they could do to make things right. Considering all items were now on their way back, not much they could do. I did tell him that no offer of anything came until after this review was written and the products had been returned...a little slow on the uptake if you ask me. I also told him in reference to receiving the wrong mouse a VX Revolution, that the individual I spoke to hadn't even heard of that kind of mouse....ummm...switching label doesn't seem to apply to products that you don't even know you have. I also told him that the cooler I ordered was not the two fan Targus pictured on their site. The one they sent was a single fan cooler that would have been impossible to use on your lap due to its design. I mentioned this on my first call the same gentleman unfamiliar with the mouse I had been sent and was basically told that it is just the one they were sending out at that time and that none of the coolers would be able to be used on your lap. Well I am writing this followup with my brand new G50 A1 using my brand new VX Nano mouse with my brand new Targus (TWO FAN) cooler sitting in my lap. When asked what they could do to make things right I said nothing at this point as my new puter was already ordered and on its way. I was offered a discount at one point...product at another...and lastly cash. I basically told him that you can't unbake a cake and that what happened couldn't be undone and that this offer seemed to be prompted not by customer service but rather by our on-line review. As to the refund mentioned in the stores reply...we were called on Sept 30 and told we would get a full refund...they replied online on OCT 1st stating a full refund had been provided(see their response)...we received a call on OCT 2nd stating that the returned product had arrived and that at that point a refund was processed. Today OCT 7th the credit finally made it back to our account. Timeline doesn't exactly match but we did at least get our refund and in full as promised. The manager I spoke with basically just listened to me rant about all of the above...his offers of compensation seemed more driven by the review than by actual customer service. With the several offers of compensation made it makes one wonder just how many of the very satisfied customers were purchased rater than earned. Would we use Xotic in the future...not likely...would we recommend it to others...well...there are a few people out there that I am not particularly fond of.

Received wrong laptop and wrong mouse. Horrible customer service experience. How does a company that does this for a living make this kind of mistake and not catch it until a customer discovers the error--something about "labels getting switched"? The company did not make any attempt to salvage the situation. Rather than the company doing the right thing and offering to let me keep/use the wrong computer THEY sent until I had the correct replacement in hand, they wanted me to box it up and ship it to them tomorrow. Then, they will get the correct computer sent out the end of the week, as it (supposedly) takes that long to burn in the new computer. I personally feel they are just stalling for time to make sure they receive the "wrong" laptop back before they ship out the new one, as it only took them 2 days to get this one shipped out. They apparently don't trust me (although I have given them no reason not to trust me) but I am supposed to trust THEM (they have given me several reasons not to trust them)? They are the ones who sent me the wrong laptop--a cheaper model of course--and I have my doubts they would have ever brought it my attention had I not noticed it myself. And, oh yeah, I mentioned the fact that it will be a real pain to have to take off the programs I had loaded onto the laptop before my wife (who actually purchased the computer for me as a gift) finally got a look at it and realized it was not the one she ordered. Xotic's answer to that was for me to just send it with the stuff on it, as they will just be reformatting the drive. Helllllooo! Do I trust these folks to actually do that after the experience I have just had with them? I think not.  
 
So, I have cancelled my order and will be returning the laptop posthaste. Of course, this means the $2200 allotted towards the purchase of a new laptop will be tied up for who knows how long, delaying the purchase of a laptop from some other company by who knows how long. Very, very disappointing experience.  
 
I will be sure to post a followup update on my return experience to let folks know how that goes.

Thank you for taking the time to post your review. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience & frustration caused by this uncommon situation where we mistakenly shipped the incorrect model. After being contacted by this customer that he received the wrong laptop our corrective actions included:  
 
1. Placing a new machine into immediate production/testing and scheduled to ship out once it completed testing .  
2. We issued a UPS Pick Up at our expense within hours of the customers call to pick up the laptop that was shipped in error and to be returned back to our location.  
 
The customer ultimately canceled his order and a 100% Full Refund was refunded back to him.  
 
We greatly apologize and regret our shipping error caused this inconvenience and frustration to the customer. We listen, learn, and adapt new systems to reduce the possibility of error. We are constantly striving to ensure that we exceed our customer’s expectations.

This was my first time dealing with Xotic PC and I can say that I will certainly be doing business with them again! I orderd a custom Sager NP9262 laptop to replace my home desktop and in addition to be used for my business.  
I ordered it on August 14 so I could try and take it with me on a trip to Germany, which I was leaving for on the 28th. I was fully aware the amount of time that it would take for custom orders to be filled before I placed my order, so I thought that I would just chance it and try and see if I could get it before I left with next day delivery. Well, I didn't pay attention to the disclaimer that If the order was to be shipped to another address other than the billing address, that it would incur additional time while they try to verify the new address with the bank that the credit card was issued. Big whoops on my part especially if I was to get it by the 27th! After receiving a confirmation email on 15th that they had to check with my bank about the address ,which was for my business, I contacted them and asked to change the shipping address to my billing address which they did right away. On the 19th I recieved another confirmation email that said they updated my information and that it was now in production, WOOHOO! I waited patiently untill the 25th which I then called to see if the order was looking like it could be fulfilled by the 27th. The person I talked to was very polite and courteous and told me that it was unlikely that I would recieve it in time. Needless to say I was bummed out but was fully aware before hand that it was a possibility that I wouldn't get it in time, so I asked him to change my next day delivery to normal ground to save me a hundred bucks. He then told me I needed to email them a confirmation to change the shipping method. I figured that I would wait untill the day before I left to email them the change in delivery just in case it would get shipped by some chance. Wednesday I checked my email at work and what did I find? A confirmation email that my order had been shipped the previous day and that it would be deliverd TODAY!!! They busted their butt to get me my kick ass new machine in time for my trip to Germany after I talked to them the day before. I received my laptop that day and it booted right up with no problems and it is working flawlessly to this day with no issues! My other accessories that I ordered didn't show up untill the day after I left but again Xotic pc saved the day by changing the address to the original shipping address, which was my business, that I wanted it all to go to anyway after the third attempt to deliver failed. As a business owner I can say that their honesty through out the entire ordering process was top notch, of course getting the computer when it wasn't likely was the icing on the cake!! A BIG thank you to Xotic pc for their awesome customer service!!!!!

This is my first custom laptop and I think it is AMAZING! My last laptop was a Fujitsu and I decided that this time, I actually wanted to customize and try to make a really decent gaming laptop. I decided this XoticPC because I heard really good reviews from many sites. When I first ordered it, I didn't notice it was a Pre-Order so I had to wait for about a month until it was released. But when it was released (on a Thursday), I got my laptop on the following Tuesday. So it was REALLY fast production on XoticPC on their part.  
 
Everything came perfectly. The packaging was very professionally done and no extra things were installed other than the basics (unlike other computer companies which preload a bunch of random things >_<).  
 
The laptop in general is very fast. The webcam is OK, I would prefer my USB one right now over the laptop but its nice to have when I don't have it when traveling. The computer is not light but also not heavy (Probably 6-7 pounds? Not sure). It is a decent size and weight so it is possible to carry around. Mine came with a carrying case which carries everything that came with my laptop plus extra room for other things. I currently play games like CS/WoW/C&C but I will be testing it on more stressing games to see how well this laptop runs but so far for those games, it is AMAZINGLY fast. Everything loads immediately. I will be using this laptop for college too. I have not tested the battery power yet but for the times that I have left it out of battery, it lasted for about an hour and a half before I plugged back in with still about 30-35% battery power left. So I'll assume (with the power in power savings mode) it should last through maybe a 2 hour class without dying.  
 
Overall, an amazing laptop and I will buy again from XoticPC because I am VERY satisfied with their professionalism and product.

I bought an Asus M50SV-A1 laptop with a C2D T9300 6Mb L2 cache, 250Gb Momentus HD with an 8Mb cache, 15.4" screen, 9500GS 512Mb dedicated video card, and 3Gbs of RAM. This is the best laptop I have ever had. Justin Woitte was a great help. I had a budget of no more than $1300 including shipping and he was able to help me get the best specs for the price. I paid $1313 including shipping. Ive had it for awhile now and havent experienced one BSOD, one crash, no over heating, no problems what so ever.  
 
Shipping was great. It took 2 days total. It came in the standard Asus box and was packed in another box filled with air bubbles and packing peanuts. The outer box wasnt damaged at all and there was no way the inner box was getting damaged.  
 
When I received the laptop it turned right on and booted right into Vista without a hickup.

I ordered the PC on the 5th of August. Due to a payment issue I needed to call xoticpc. The man who answered seem to be very knowledgeable and helpful.  
 
When your order switches into build mode "phase 2" they need 3-7 business days to build your computer. 7 Business days (11 days) roll by with me wondering what is going on. I email them and they say the order should be shipped very soon. Next day come along. Nothing.  
Next day comes along, almost through the day. Nothing.  
 
I call again. Turns out they were missing a component to build the actual thing. What was it? A bluetooth adapter. Instead of telling me this before they avoided it as I had asked what was taking so long.  
 
I move into my college dorm which is 3 hours away from my current residence in 1 day now. Now they tell me they can't change the shipping address to the dorm because it must be on the debit card.  
 
I my address on the debit card to my dorm. Customer service says it would take 24-hours to process but they can ship it anyway without getting audited.  
 
I tell them this and that I changed it.  
 
Then I get this in an email :  
 
"Hello, thank you for your email. We have called your bank this morning and they have stated it is not on the account yet. Since your machine is preparing for shipping now we will continue with the original address TWO DAY Air at our expense."  
 
1 ) They tried to help with the free upgraded shipping. Props for trying.  
 
2 ) They sent it too my house which means now I'll have to pay another 62 dollars to overnight it to my dorm from my house. FUN!  
 
The end result was just a circle jerk. The credit card company told me they could have shipped it. Xotic PC says they couldn't until it was fully registered into the banks system.

Ordered a Sager NP9262 from Xotic PC. They were courteous and prompt in their communications with me, and the product arrived as advertised and works great. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to buy a new laptop.
