I'm hooked!
I was looking for a new laptop about a year ago and just happened by this gem of a company. XoticPC goes above and beyond all levels of service. Lets break it down.

I was looking for a new laptop about a year ago and just happened by this gem of a company. XoticPC goes above and beyond all levels of service. Lets break it down.
Sales Team: 11 out of 10
I knew little about the products they sold, but knew what requirements I wanted. The employees were all extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They didn't try to push me into a product I didn't need just to sell me more, and actually encouraged me to get the most bang for my buck. They have a great community of very satisfied customers who stick around on the website's forums to help others choose a product or make recommendations for specific needs.
Products: 11 out of 10
The products they sell are of very high quality and go through a rigorous testing phase to weed out bad parts. I have been a member of the forums for almost a year and can count on one hand the number of times I have heard of parts failing (there are close to 700 members who post on the forums, making the failure rate of around 0.7%).
Price: 11 out of 10
Some places online offer a 2-5% discount below a competitors regularly priced product. XoticPC does the leg work for you and offers you the 3% cash discount and the lowest price on the web. A quick search today for the Sager NP5796 brings prices as follows

This may be the one thing XoticPC has not perfected, though Im not sure I would want them to. You dont rush an artist, you dont rush a cook. If you want a really nice product you spend time making sure you have it before delivering. XoticPC does and extensive burn-in on all of its notebooks which adds some time to the final product. I must say though, they do ship as soon as they feel satisfied that it has the quality you deserve. I personally had pre-ordered the NP5792 in November and it was released the 2 weeks before Christmas. After a week of extensive testing, they began construction and shipping of the new notebooks. I received my notebook the day before Christmas Eve without the extra accessories that I had ordered. When I questioned them about this, they told me that they wanted me to have the laptop as soon as possible and will ship the backordered accessories when they arrived. I couldnt have been happier with there choice.
Integrity: 11 out of 10
XoticPC doesnt jump onto every bandwagon technology that comes around which gives them a little more credibility than the next reseller. For instance, when everyone started selling the solid state drives XoticPC held off until they knew how the product would perform and decided not to include it when they learned of its flaws. They also wont build a system with memory that is clocked higher than what the system can recognize just to make an extra buck. Also, as I mentioned before they wont try to sell you just the biggest and the best. They will find out what you need, how much you were planning on spending, and working off of those parameters. This is the most honest company I have ever run across and will never switch back to the big-names in the business.
Support: 11 out of 10
The tech-support offered is amazing. Between the 24/7 DOMESTIC telephone support, the same-day response e-mail support and regularly answered forums support
there is always someone who knows how to handle a problem. When a RMA is in order it is handled quickly and with the utmost professionalism. I have heard of DVD rom drives going bad and the company shipping a replacement drive ASAP. Any software and driver issues that arise can be dealt with by checking the forums and getting detailed directions on how to update software.
Overall, I trust them. They are reasonably fast at delivering an amazing product and making sure that they have satisfied customers. I was very disappointed when I had ordered a mini-laptop from another reseller a week before they started pre-orders for an even better mini. I will always look to XoticPC first for all my notebook needs. They have a VERY satisfied customer in me!

Great machine - (love the rich resolution in 15").
Big story was support given when I had an issue. Joseph Lee had an email exchange with me like he was my close friend that worked there and wanted to make sure I was happy.
Instant response. Proposed solid resolutions.
Overall great experience.

I ordered a Sager 2098 (Compal KHLB2) from XoticPC. Sales answered all of my questions before the purchase and kept me informed during the build process and shipping. Build quality is excellent and the laptop is working great. I will definitely be a return customer.

Purchased a MSI GT-725 Laptop from XoticPC. Absolutely delighted with the laptop. Although the production process of the laptop was pretty slow, but it's probably due to the low demand for this laptop and on vendor's part. The shipping was fast though, took around 3 business days for international delivery to reach my doorstep. XoticPC was very responsive to my enquiries especially Justin during the whole process, where all my emails were replied within 1-2 days.

We're very happy with the service we received when ordering from XoticPC. We ordered a Sager NP5797 from XoticPC on May 24th.
On June 10th, we received an Email from XoticPC stating that our card had been declined. This was a problem that we were having with our bank. Turns out, there's a maximum spending limit on our card, as a security feature.
XoticPC was very courteous and gave us time to settle things with our bank. They even offered to break the transaction into payments to accommodate this maximum spending limit for us. Needless to say, we were able to confirm the payment to the bank so they would allow us to make the transaction.
After getting the payment all settled out, XoticPC were very quick to building, testing, and shipping the NP5797. I received Email confirmation that my order had been shipped on June 15th. It only took them FIVE days! That's awesome!
In conclusion, we're very happy with the service we were provided by XoticPC, and I would recommend them to anyone in the market for a new laptop. They're understanding, fast, and just all around great to deal with. :-)

I came across xoticpc when looking to purchase a high performance laptop. I was a little skeptical at first but the great reviews, feedback in the forum and the incredible service I received from Justin W with my many emails with every question I could think of before even purchasing really made this quite an easy purchase.
From the moment I posted my question on the forums for help in deciding to the previously mentioned many emails back and forth with Justin W, this was one of the best purchasing experiences I have had. Each question I had was answered and very fast, sometimes on the weekend and late at night. Price was a concern for me, and with my purchase of a Sager np8662 I feel I got a great deal on a top of the line laptop. It has been working flawlessly since the moment I turned it on. And if I ever have a problem I have no doubt xoticpc will be there the same way they were before and during my purchase. I could not recommend them any higher, a great company to deal with. Highs:
1) Excellent customer care during the sales process. Joe was well informed, communicative, and easy to work with.
2) I understood the product I was getting, the options for build time, testing, and shipping of the Sager laptop I was purchasing.
3) 1 Point of Contact (POC) for all sales related activities. Even during some post-sales quirks, I dealt with the same individual which kept my confidence up and enhanced my overall experience.
The Other Stuff
1) Plagued with some inventory woes that were out of there control on two fronts. First, Intel was going through a chip refresh. Second, they received a bad batch of memory. See 'The Highs' for how this could've left a bad taste in my mouth, but was mitigated by excellent sales and customer care.

I believe I am the minority with a somewhat negative review for Xotic PC, but I have had a difficult time with my order.
I ordered a 9280 laptop on May 24, 2009 and paid by wire transfer. I am a student and needed a replacement laptop as quickly as possible. The wire transfer was the quickest way to do it. The build time was 3-7 business days, and on day 3 my order went to phase 2, which meant it was in production. I called and asked how long it would take, and I was told the parts were there and it was currently being built, so it should be shipped within the 7 business days. On day 7 the status hadn't changed so I called again. I was told the Sager parts were on back order and their first batch of laptops had already been sent out... mine not included. I was told that the parts might be in next week, in 5 days, and then it would take another 3-7 business days on top of that to build. I am already 3 semesters into a course and needed a laptop now, so I asked for a refund. Refunds are typically sent back as a check, which would have been held for an additional 5 days by most banks.

Xotic PC has been a pleasure to deal with. They are always there to answer your questions, and they reply quickly. I ordered the NP9280 and could not be happier than i am. The machine is a beast to say the least. It was worth the every cent. Xotic Pc in my books is the best, awesome service, great machines, and the best warranties.

As a company, I think Xotic Pc gets the idea of company-client relationship. I researched about a year and half into the kind of computer I wanted. I looked at all the name brands and found something disheartening in each. Gateway is no longer customizing,I had a negative experience with Dell's customer support service, and Hewlett Packard seemed to have a take it or leave it attitude when I emailed them. I went online and searched gaming laptops, and it was good to see I had more choices. I started out with pricing on a certain configuration. I found Xotic to be cheaper. After a few emails to each of the different companies, I was leaning more towards Xotic. My sales rep. was Justin W. I found him to be direct but not pushy. His replies were the same business day in most cases. I really liked that. He answered all my questions without any notice of commitment from me. This went on for about a year. In February, I ordered my computer and sent the money through bank wire. The nerve racking thing was the wire. I expected instantaneous delivery and it wasn't. It was put in their account the next day, but in the meantime, I called a couple of times to check. Customer service was patient and understanding about my concerns. I felt well taken care of. The next day, I got an email written to say that my order was in production. And a couple of days later, it was shipped. I was elated because it was that fast. I didn't have to wait forever to get what I wanted. I have not had an issue as of yet on my computer, so I don't know how they will react towards it, but I suspect they will treat me with the same respect as I was treated when buying.
Overall from what I see, the company knows the right way into having a good rapport with customers. They will definitely be the first to look into for any future business.

Ordered a NP5797 from Xotic PC. It's been awhile since I got my Notebook and I must say that I'm very satisfied with the Notebook and Xotic PC's After Sales Service. The reason why I went with Xotic PC was because when I was choosing and asking for additional information regarding NP5797 and other notebook models. JustinW of Xotic PC was very accommodating and patient in answering every question that I asked. After our long exchange of email's since I'm an international customer. I was very pleased on how they handle their customers. I decided to purchase my unit with them. And Up to now, I can say that I still get the same service and effort, if not better. So far so good! I got the Force 3551 and am so far very happy with it. I had absolutely no problems with Xoticpc, doing the money transfer at the bank or anything. I've had numerous emails back and forth to check on things I was curious about (basically what can I tinker with in the future) and all the replies have been fast and friendly, I'm amazed. I'm loving the lappy so far, I tried the Crysis demo last night and it was pretty sweet, I had water on high but turned a few other things to medium when it finally started lagging. Anyway, so far my experience with Xoticpc has been great, and I will definitely be recommending them.

I ordered a Sager NP5793 through XoticPC. At first, I was weary of ordering through a company I'd never dealt with or even heard of before, but a few positive forum posts persuaded me to give them a shot. I've never dealt with a company that went to such great lengths to please a customer. I had issues with my bank and XoticPC went out of their way to help me resolve those issues. Most companies would have canceled the order until I took care of the bank issues, but XoticPC went above and beyond and actually helped me resolve the issues. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend XoticPC to anybody looking to buy a new computer.
