I ordered five IX-08025-09 9db 80mm fans. You can find them at silenx.com here-http://www.silenx.com/productcart/pc/configurePrdz.asp?idcategory=3&idproduct=84, or at silenxusa.com here-http://www.silenxusa.com/productcart/pc/configureprd_z.asp?idcategory=8&idproduct=32. I ordered from silenxusa.com and both the website and the paper invoice I received with the shipment showed that I ordered IX-08025-09 fans. What I got instead were IXP-54-09 fans. They are still 9db 80mm fans, but instead of standard black they are silver/chrome. The fans shown on both websites have been discontinued. I know some people like the shinny stuff aka bling, but I am not one of those people. Fortunately I have a friend willing to swap his four SilenX 9db fans for 4 of these and I can put the 5th in front of the hard drive bay so I won't have to look at it for years. Had this not been the case I would have returned the fans. To be fair, I also ordered a 600 watt power supply. They e-mailed me saying it was out of stock and would take a month. I asked them to remove it from the order, which they did without any problems.

Update: Alex emailed me back and offered to sell me a PSU at a discount. Not sure for how much as I already got my Asus PSU from Newegg before I got Alex's email. SilenX seems very customer focused.  
 
The iXtrema Pro 450 watt PSU failed after a year and a half. I find it funny that they rate their fans for high hours but the warranty is only 1-2 years. Bought on 8/24/04. I have placed a few orders with this company. The fans are quiet but if you put your hand to them they seem to push less air than fans rated at similar cfms. One of the 60mm fans has an irritating whine to it. The colors are inconsistent in the LED fans. You may get what appears to be blue UV or plain blue. Not that it is a big deal, but the color hues look very different in a windowed Lian Li case. I'm not saying this is a bad company, and most of the fans I ordered are great. Bummed about the PSU. Admittedly it could be an anomaly, but that doesn't change the fact that I'm out of a PSU. Shipping is fast.

I ordered 2 14 dba 120mm fans, 1 blue LED 14 dba 120mm fan and a 520 Ixtrema Pro PSU. The fans are not as quiet as I would have hoped for. The only one that met my expectations was the LED fan. The others are actually louder than the $9 Globe fans I was previously using. And those are rated at 30 dba!! One fan has a horrible whine to it.....  
 
I was sent a 600 W PSU instead a 520, which I guess was nice, but even the specs of the 600 I received are VERY different than the product listed on the website. I expected to get the product on the website and instead got a PSU with a horribly cumbersome "powerpipe" and 2 LED fans. Not what I wanted or expected. Have requested an RMA for the PSU.  
 
I also think that these products are much too expensive for what they claim to offer.  
 
Silenx also needs to work on their communication skills. Although they are very helpful when calling their headquarters, they NEVER answer any emails to their support addresses. I shouldn't have to make a long distance phone call to get an answer everytime I have a question or concern.  
 
I probably wouldn't do business with this company again.

I am happy with the speed of the shipment. But, the fans itself, was not up to my expectation. It is quiet when the case is cool, but after 30 mins, when the system gets hotter, since the fan doesn't quite move enough air, and as a result the fan speeds up creating more noise. I am not completely dissatisfied, but was expecting a quieter fan.  
 
A suggestion I could offer is, display that your shopping cart / credit card information is secure. I have read a forum, and the reason, that person decided not to purchase from silenx is because he thought that checkout was not secure. He was afraid to enter his CC information through this. If you let the users know that the last purchase part is secure, I think you may get more customers.

The order was filled quickly with the package received in 3 days. My complaint was the heatsink I purchased was not well protected by the styrofoam "peanuts". The pins on the heat sink were slightly bent - I bent them back to their original shape.  
 
The shipping costs were extremely high. Silenx should be able to negotiate better rates - I believe they make a little extra money here.  
 
The power supply is of excellent quality. Heavy and as advertised "extremely silent".

The PSU was really quiet. I had a problem with the computer installation. I turned to the customer service but no feed back from them.

I bought two 80mm 14db fans and a 120mm 14db fan. The fans are quiet. I owned Papst fans before this, I cannot quantify the difference in sound between Papst and SilenX, they are both nice.  
 
I am fairly satisfied with the fans. The only reason I am not fully satisfied, is that at the time that I bought the fans (Nov 2004), it was not clear to me that they did not do RPM monitoring. This was disapointing given I expect most people who are looking for silence are quite interested in RPM monitoring.  
 
I have been told that all of their line is now RPM monitoring capable. So I may buy some more...

I bought two fans. The order was processed very quickly.

The quality of the product is great. The fans are silent. However,  
the quality of the connectors was pretty bad. I ordered 3 fans. The  
80mm came as expected. One 60 mm came with a 2 pin connector ( I  
thought they all came with 3 pin connectors?) The other 60mm came  
with the correct 3 pin connector but one of the crimped terminals had  
not been seated in the connector and promptly fell out.  
 
No big deal for most techies but still not the quality I expected...  

Purchased two 9dBa fans, delivered promptly and at reasonable cost.

Like the website, very nice design, easy to navigate. Clear pictures and info. Quick delivery, but I didn't get an email confirmation for my order or a shipping confirmation either. I paid by PayPal (which is a great feature and appreciated) so I received a payment confirmation via email. Perhaps SilenX wished to cut down on the inbox clutter and let that serve as order confirmation. Overall good experience.

Ordering was easy. My fans arrived in just a couple of days. They are installed and working. So far, no problems.

Easy to order, good choice of dellivery options. Lacked some info on the value of the content you put on the box for VAT reasons. I was asked to send the original invoice and had to pay 25% VAT on the invoice amount. If I knew you have a value printed on the package it would be easier for me to pay lower VAT.  
 
So far I am happy with the product but I was hoping more on the lower sound. Maybe this is a nevending project to have a silent PC with fans. But I was hoping for the PSU and fans to be even more silent. Anyway the PSU provides more effect and does not create more noice than my old PSU so I will need it to support harddrives and cards with sufficent power.
