A++++ Transaction top notch retailer read on..... I shopped the Olympus C750 Ultra Zoom for about 1 month and investigated all of the online outlets. Everyone needs to understand the cheapest price means nothing and can actually work against you. Those cheap outlets are going to try and aggressively sell you accessories that you don?t need and when you don?t bite then suddenly your product is unavailable. Megastore does not do this and I found I actual got more accessories than was advertised. Namely, the RM-1 remote control, which was not advertised as an accessory on their website but goes for $25 dollars on EBAY. I will do business again with this retailer and found the transaction painless with tracking numbers sent instantly and friendly sales staff

After you place an order they call you and try to get you to purchase accessories and an extended warranty. If you refuse, your item is out of stock and they only sell "kits" with the warranty included for an additional $50 or so.

We ordered the Panasonic PV-DV53 advertised at $282.90 on 11-17-03. We received a confirmation of this price and the order on the same day. On 11-19-03, we got an E-mail to call the company (our expense, long distance.)  
 
On 11-20-03, I called and after a number of holds, was given a salesman. When he began a pitch, I explained that our budget was strained for this gift, and that we would not be buying anything additional. At that time, he informed me that there was an error in the pricing, "Not our fault." If I wanted the camera, it would be $35.00 more.  
 
When I complained, he hung up on me. On a subsequent call, I cancelled the order, although he claimed that the order had never gone through and that we had never been charged. I hope that this is the case.  
 
Since the advertised pricing on this camera remains (and is as of this writing) $282.90 (the price they claimed was an error), I find it difficult to believe that there was an actual error.  
 
I would urge potential buyers to consider my problem before ordering.  
 

I bought an Olympus c-5050z as NEW for $574.90 in June 2003.  
When it needed repair, Olympus told me that it was a REFURBISHRD camera and the REFURBISHED warantee had expired. I am now looking into what action I can take against them.

have paid Nikon lens 24-120mm USD 381.28 and never got item or money back.  
Payment was done through Paypal for lens order confirmation # 1359. Promised me several times that lens was sent, didn't never tell AWB # and finally they said lens was lost and would return money. Haver never received money back.  
 
Don't buy by this retailer. It's a big FRAUD only.  
Will go to police soon.

Extremely shady. They list cameras as being brand new, factory sealed but when my 5700 arrived and I got suspicious and called Nikon it turned out to be refurbished. They denied this up and down and never finally came clean and admitted it. They also list accessories to buy for your Nikon 5700 and one of them is a 3 year warranty for $48. Great, I thought, and added that to my cart. It is a warranty for a camera under $500. I am in the process of fighting them to try and get the correct one (for a camera under $1,000).  
All in all the worst company I have dealt with.

I placed an order for a Nikon Coolpix 4500 Digital Camera. I used my credit card and ordered online.  
When they called the next day to verify my order they tried to sell me items that I did not want. So I did not purchase any additional items. Later, they then emailed me and said that their credit card processing was down to pay with Paypal. I could not do this so they canceled my order. When I emailed and asked for email confirmation that my order had been canceled. I never heard from them.

This company has "ZERO" customer service and satisfaction, no return policy even though written on wedsite, refuses to give address for returns and you can not speak to anyone higher than a sales person. The worst on-line experience I have ever had.

Retailer lied about the product being sold. when i called back to discuss this the salesman told me to call back in a week and hung up on me. i called back to receive a confirmation number to return the product and he would not give me one. i would never do businesses with these people again.

I purchased an Olympus C4040 Digital Camera from Cameras for less. I got a great deal on the camera. However, I also purchased a 5 year warranty. It was listed on my invoice as an 5 year extended warranty $800.00. I received the warranty with the camera and the warranty states 5 year digital under $500 warranty. I contacted Mack, the company on the warranty because I was told by Hershel at cameras for less that the $500 and $800 warranties were the same. The sales department at Mack says they have two warranties. one for under $1000.00 and one for under 500.00. While I bought the camera new for just under $500.00 the camera actually retails for just under $800.00. I re-contacted Cameras for less and talked again with Hershel. He explained to me that this is all I need. I have doubts that I was given the correct warranty for what I was charged. I am now leary of doing additional business with this company as I did not recieve an explaination suitable enough for me. As for the camera I'm very happy with the purchase and the delivery.

One comment so far and this guy sounds like he owns the company. Anyone else care to chim in on cameraforless.com? (someone that is not a stockholder please!)
