I ordered the Nikon SB-600 after comparing prices on Google. NWV was far the least expensive, I placed my order and the very next day i got an email with a bait and switch move. Back ordered 4 to 6 weeks but Sal had a better offer for me. A Vivitar 008DF383N Super i-TTL (Guide No. 131'/40 m at 85mm) Digital Camera Power Zoom Flash For Nikon SLR- $30.00 more and said it was better than the SB600.  
After hours of researching the model number I could not find anything on it. But I ordered it anyways giving NWV the benefit of the doubt.  
I recived it today and its not looking good. This model number does not exist. I did some research with the name of the company and I find many people that have been taken by the same scam. I like to bargain shop and I'll take the risk. But this is a scam, it can happen to you. I already emailed them for an RA#.

I ordered a CH-1010 universal AC power adapter, READERSD high speed SD memory card reader, and three BP-006CL high capactity additional batteries for a new Panasonic Lumix camera received at Christmas and everything was received 5 days later as advertised and the batteries had the best power rating to cost I could find, in fact all the prices great. NWV Direct (nwvdirect.com) is an excellent source.

There was a problem with the order being filled and the sales person contacted us right away to let us know that it would not be shipped when we had expected it too. That made all the difference to us. Not many companies would worry about making a personal call from the stockroom to let us know our order would be there a little later than we expected. We will be ordering from this company again.

Found the Canon charger for my camera battery on there website for about 10 dollars less than NewEgg.com so I figured what the hell I'll give it a try and just as I thought they would, they tried to get me to change the order to another charger after telling me the Canon charger is on back-order for 4 weeks. I just checked there website and it doesn't even mention back-order there.

NWV Direct was easy to order from, had the lowest cost for the PSP memory, and shipped quickly, without hassle.

I am very pleased with my NWV experience. I purchased a spare battery for my new digital camera. The price was very good, my online experience was fine and delivery was prompt.  
 
Oh yes, I am equally pleased with the battery, it has been charged several times and works great.

BUYER BEWARE- Ordered Nikon SB-600 On Friday and received an email on Monday that they had tried to call me 2x because there was a problem with the order. There was not messages on my phone. Called them and they said it was not available for 4-6 weeks. Seems to be a reoccurrence after reading other reviews. Offered me a Vivitar 008DF383N Super i-TTL flash that I could not locate anywhere else on the Web. My gut told me to call back and cancel, so I did. I was told I would receive an email in 24hrs to confirm the cancellation. I will update as to my findings.

I bought a ac adapter for my sony camcorder and it came quick Perfect adadpter brand new and from sony and the price was unbeatable THANK YOU NWV!!!!!!!!!!

This was my first experience with NWV. I was concerned that my order would not be here in time for Christmas. You are provided the normal delivery periods which caused me to assume it would be a post Christmas gift. I was very happy when the product arrived well before the anticipated and I have since referred others to the site.  

I ordered a Sony VCL-DH1774 Telephoto Lens 1.7x For Cyber-shot® DSC-H7 or DSC-H9 Digital Camera and it got delivered with in days and I have absolutely no complaints and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for Tele photo lenses.

Thursday, December 4th, I ordered the Garmin Nuvi AC Charger/Adapter with International Adpater. Sal sent me an email stating he had been unable to reach me by phone (I had been home all day – no phone calls). He stated he didn’t have the product I ordered, but would substitute a different product for the same price (no international adapter). When I re-contacted Sal and told him that was not acceptable, and to please cancel the order, he stated the order was already shipped – so I should refuse it when it arrived. Obviously that was a lie, because NWVDirect sent me a shipping confirmation 12/9 (6 days later!). NWVDirect should have canceled the order December 4th, when I stated that the substituted charger was not acceptable, and requested that the order be canceled. Because they didn’t actually ship until 12/9, NWVDirect misrepresented the order status during the December 4th conversation. I filed a Paypal dispute, but because NWVDirect had a shipping confirmation, Paypal found in their favor! Upon receipt of the package, I took it unopened to the Post Office, marked refused – return to sender – on the box, just as Sal had instructed me to do. The charger I didn’t want was promptly returned to them the same day I received it. However, NWVDirect still has not refunded the $19.50 to my Paypal account – they have proven to me that they are a disreputable and unethical business. I advise anyone interested to do NO business with NWVDirect.

Probably should have checked reseller ratings before purchasing, because this sounds like a broken record now. Bought a Canon wide screen lens (about $15 cheaper than elsewhere) and received a call a day later telling me it was out of stock for 6 weeks but they could sell me a much better (and coincidentally, more expensive) no-name lens.  
 
Thankfully I told the rep I'd think about it, did some google searches, and quickly called back to cancel the order.  
 
The one good thing I can say is they didn't give me any trouble re canceling (though I'll certainly be monitoring my CC statements to make sure).

Yup, it's a bait and switch scam! Don't try to buy any a NIKON SB600 here, they do not have any in stock and will try to sell you a "better" flash for way too much money. I was mentally prepared for this to happen when I placed my order because I read other bad reviews about NWV Direct, but I figured I would give it a shot anyways. I placed my order last night and got a call from them this morning, and from that point on my experience was the same as many others I have read about. The man I talked to told me my item was backordered so I said just cancel it, and then he said that he had an even better flash for me and I said no thank you, cancel my order, which they did. My advice is if you must try to buy something from NWV Direct, DO NOT switch your item if they tell you your item is backordered, CANCEL YOUR ORDER IMMEDIATELY. They will try to scam you.

Some things previously mentioned... bought a Nikon flash at a heavily discounted price, and sure enough, I received an e-mail telling me that they could not contact my phone (sitting right next to me all morning), and that the flas I ordered would be backordered 4-6 weeks, and I might like a Vivitar they currently had in stock for $100 more.  
 
Obviously, I canceled the order, and now await my refund. Good thing I paid via PayPal, as I am not sure my money will be coming back from them any time soon.  
 
I'd steer clear of this company and their business practices.
