This company is OK until you buy a defective part from them...that's when they show their true color.Nonsensical arguments, a $25.00 charge to prove the item defective, finally no time to even look at the item (a motherboard in my case), sending the item back to the distributor because they have no time to test it (2nd motherboard), and, worst of all, no refunds on items found to be defective.......this company is a scam, plain and simple.

Just had to write to commend Infonec (once again) on their superb service. Ordered some computer parts on Dec. 22 with their $8.95 flat rate shipping offer and imagine my shock when the package turned up via UPS on the 24th! Also, I called them for some information prior to ordering and imagine my shock when a real salesman picked up the phone--in the middle of the Xmas rush. No answering machines, no 2 hour waits as with other (most) online places I have dealt with. Aside from their great prices, these folks really perform. This is my third time ordering from them and the service has always been excellent. Keep it up, Infonec!

I purchased a custom PC from Infonec Computers and there were some hangups. Customer service was friendly but unhelpful, and I'm still waiting on the system.  
 
First, I was out of town so someone made the pick-up on my behalf. Infonec neglected to inform them that I (explicitly) requested system assembly, and so when I came home, I had to drive everything back to the store for the assembly/system warranty. I don't think their intentions were bad, but it was an annoyance nonetheless.  
 
Second, one day after I made the purchase, they dropped the price on the CPU by $45 and refused to give me a store credit for the difference. Considering that I was buying an entire system from them, I was not particularly pleased.  
 
Third, I ordered some RAM which was $5-$6 lower at a competing store and Infonec refused to price-match (although they did lower their price by a meager $2). Again, I would have expected more considering I was spending $1,000+.  
 
Although my experience was not perfect, I'm not totally dissuaded from Infonec Computers. Generally speaking, their pricing is good and the parts were sealed and in brand new condition. They really need to work on their customer service and be a little more lenient with customers who are making minor requests.

This company is great, I have yet to go there and not leave with what I was expecting, in sealed packages. Pricing is great, but unfortunately no easy online ordering (I've heard you can do it over the phone tho)
