Ordered a DVD. It came off the hub during shipping and got scratched up. I contacted YesAsia and they were helpful. They had me pay for the return s/h which was about $15, but they credited me back when they got the item and they shipped out the replacement quickly.

First purchase here. Bought a music CD. Noteworthy events as follows:  
 
1) Make sure you take note of the availability. Unless it says "In Stock", it's not in stock. For example, mine said something like should be shipped within 7 days. What that means is that it's not in stock and they need to buy it from some other vendor. In my case this process took 9 days.  
 
2) I can't find any customer support emails, aka there are no customer support emails. After 7 days passed I wanted to ask them how much longer it's gonna be. They do supposedly have toll-free telephone numbers but I didn't bother. Might as well save them some money.  
 
3) The shipping is free on orders above $25, which is the shipping option I took. WHen they finally sent me a shipping confirmation, there was also a tracking # for USPS. It took 3 days for the number to get into USPS's system, but the CD arrived at the same time (!). The number's useless but it came pretty fast so I guess that's ok.  
 
4) Packaged very well. Manila envelope was fat because CD was carefully wrapped with 2 big bubble wrap bags (ended up as 4-5 bubble layers on each side).  
 
Communication sucks. But the price is right and the shop works.

The product I bought came missing charger (which it needed and is listed as included on the box). No support given, no email support (only international phone numbers)! Any email from this company is no-reply. Avoid.

irresponcible company. years before they upgraded the site was awesome. the product was cheap, nice, friendly, i even sent friendly emails to encourage them for their hard and sincere work. but years from now, my first perchase, something had gone amis, trying to go and cancel the order like i used to, they disabled that function. it had said, something like on sale items are NOT refundable or cannot be cancelled. i was NEVER informed about this before i bought this product, failing at that, i tried for some customer support, and emailing, they didnt have any email support ANYMORE!!!! how can this be?!?!?!so i tried calling, but i never could reach them!!!!!! then when i fianlly did reach them, they slamed at me, basically saying i was stupid, and that i would have to wait for the product until INFINIT. oh thanks. this product was a little hard to locate so please wait for a couple months. thanks yesasia.

Great Company. I had an issue with the order and asked for help and they took care of the issue with out any questions asked. I have shopped here for over 5yrs, and will for a long time. Great place Recommend this site very highly.

Yesasia is the wrost online shop ever~ The prices are all marked way up, on streets prices are at least 20-40% cheaper.  
 
The wrost part is that they ALWAYS sell products that they don't actually have it! It has been almost a month now, 26days, and my order status is still 'searching from supplier'. After I called them, they are just giving impolite and nonsenses excuse. They had took my money right at the time of my purchase through PayPal, and they are making stupid excuse saying the money is not received until 3 days after I made the payment! I can easily dispute them with PayPal for this bullsxxt.  
 
If you don't have a product, then don't pretend you have it and say it in stock on your website. It is totally misleading and dishonest. Everything is bad with them, shity crazy they are.

i've been using yesasia like 1 year, and i think they r quite good in service, though some dissatisfaction is happened. Their packaging isnt that good, and sometimes i received cracked cd-case. But yea the free shipping thing makes this store is different among other store. The customer service is kinda takes time to answer a question. But their price for games is good imo. So i think this store is GOOD, not that excellent.

Yes Asia is tops in my book when it comes to Japanese DVD's. I have bought from them since August of 2003 and have had no problems. They are fast, accurate, and their Customer Service department is without exception excellent. Order tracking allows the customer to constantly check on their order, and shipping is terrific. The DVD's which can be damaged come packed in poly bags inside a substantial cardboard box. I cannot say enough positive things about dealing with Yes Asia. In two words "absolutely tops"!

If you are in the US and buy from them, you will get a gray-market version of the program you requested. In my case, a disclaimer on the back of the package states, "Asia Pacific Edition" and it is "Not for sale in North America, South America, Europe or Japan." I emailed YesAsia and told them this was not ethical and probably illegal. Several email exchanges later, to make a long story short, they never addressed the ethics comment and claimed that it was legal. I still doubt that; the disclaimer says it all.

Ordered two 12 Girls Band CDs+DVDs and they arrived in a week! Pretty fast for something that was hard to find. They had them in stock. The only down side is that there were no tracking number. But it was sent Priority Mail so it was quick. The site looks like Amazon.com, another one of my favorite online retailers. This is my first dealings with Yesasia and I am very pleased.  
 
One annoyance with this site is the search feature. It wouldn't return all the related products of a search. It's quite strange. When viewing one of the returned results, you'll see what others have looked at or purchased that are related but never showed up in the search results even though the search string exists in the related products' title.

Excellent site. When i first looked at it, it looks just like Amazon.Com, i wonder if it's sister company or something. Anyways, just placed my order tonight for several CDs, and it is very easy to use, lots of user reviews and recommendations which helped me decide which product to order. Free shipping is excellent plus they offer coupon that saves me even more! I definately recommend this site and i sure will buy all my asian CDs from them in the future~

Lots of imported games, reasonable price. "Super Saver" shipping method is free and I got the game in 4 days instead of "10 to 15 days" as stated on the website. I will buy from them again next time.
