I placed an order for what I thought was an "in stock" item on 12-12-07. I received a confirmation that it would be shipped within 24 hours. Then today, 12-21-07 I received a cancellation email said the order was canceled. I was expecting delivery of this small item by today, not a cancellation. Because of this experience, I will be sure to "NEVER" by from this company again. Now I just need to make sure they don't charge me for the item I never received!

ordered an oly e510+lens via amazon.com.
item ordered on weekend, shipped monday nite, arrived thursday PM. item seemed new and clean. all papers and acc's inside as they should be. all seems 'fine'.
the price was actually quite low - I was afraid they'd cancel and not ship. (that sometimes happens with some vendors). it didn't happen with me - the item arrived and with no strangeness about it ;)
packing was average - one layer of bubble surrounding a few of the box's sides, but not all sides covered. some minor denting of the inside box but nothing serious. most new york sellers pack like this for some reason (sigh).
I would order thru amazon.com to this seller again. however, when I checked their main website, the item was quite a bit higher than the amazon.com gateway price. that's why I was not sure it would even ship - but it did and I'm happy with the whole transaction.

On Nov 25 (Sunday, so that doesn't count) I ordered through Amazon, which showed "in stock" and a predicted arrival date of Nov 29-Dec 4. On Dec 5 I contacted Ace, who filled my order the next day and shipped via UPS ground. The order arrived Dec 10.
Ordered "in stock" Nov 26. Delivered Dec 10. Not too hot.

The order for a canon 70-200 f/4.0 IS lens went through easily. I ordered on the internet and received an additional 5% discount because I ordered over the weekend when the store was closed. The order came exactly as I placed it. No problems This review was modified by its author, poobah1, on

I purchased an item (camera dust air blower) through Amazon. The order was above $25, and thus, benefited from a free shipment. The seller, Ace Photo & Digital, has charged me shipment fees, and have refused to credit it. Instead, their representative, nathan@acephotodigital.com, is continuously harrasing my wife and I, via email, and lately, late evening phone calls to our home phone number (that was provided to Amazon, but unbeknown to us, made available to this seller).
They are impolite over the phone, aggressive, threatening, and they don't stop the harassment. I strongly recommend that you do not deal with this seller.

I placed an order through Amazon.com but canceled it just a few days later. My request for cancelation was handled smoothly as soon as the store opens after its one-week or so holidays. I was a little afraid after reading some negative comments about the store, but I did not have any problem.

I have literally never dealt with such a shady business. They sent me the wrong item, waited forever to respond when I told them, and then had some guy call me to make promises if I took off the negative rating. After that, I sent the item back with expedited shipping. He said he would refund all the shipping if they didn't have the item. Now, I don't have the item and I payed over $30 in shipping and they refunded me the $8 item cost. ABSOLUTELY bottom of the barrel business.

On Sept 28, I ordered items from Ace Photo Digital through Amazon. On Oct 9, Amazon informed me the order was canceled. I sent an email to Ace Photo Digital but got no response. I did not lose any money, but wasted my time. To their credit, they did cancel the order instead of putting it on backorder for months. This rating is based on one order and may not reflect the seller's normal business practice, however, I would have expected at least an email notification. I will not buy from them again. I ordered a memory module from Ace through Amazon.com. It arrived on the last day of the promised window. It was packed in the original manufacturer's sealed packaging and it was exactly what I ordered at a very competitive price. Thanks!

Very bad service. Ordered a LCD tv which they said would be shipped between 24 and 48 hrs. It didn't ship in this time period even though they confirmed it would on the phone. They then randomly closed for 5 days. They also try to push extra insurance. Definitely would not buy here. Not worth the hassle. Don't be persuaded by their Amazon ratings.

I placed the order of a Canon printer on Sept 2 via Amazon.com… was expecting the item to be delivered to me between Sept 7-12. I didn't get the item or any information about my order what-so-ever between Sept 2 to Sept 10. So I sent them an email on Sept 10 night asking about the order status. What I got back from them was this.

"Your order was canceled earlier today because the item was out of stock and unavailable. It is closed in our system and will show as cancelled on Amazon by the end of the day today. I apologize for any inconvenience caused by this cancellation. Thank you, Steve x330"

This is just not acceptable. It's shown it's "in stock" when I placed my order. If they've known the item is out of stock, I should get notified right away, not after 9 days when I deliberately email them asking for the status. I am totally frustrated as I was expecting this printer which I need this coming weekend. Even worse, it's still showing in their website that the printer is "in-stock" today (Sept 11). So there could be other customer who may place the order but will not be able to get the item at all.
And one bad thing was that once Ace photo cancelled my order from Amazon, I was not able to leave any negative feedback on Amazon's website. I think that explains why this store is receiving such high rating as all negative feedback just can't be left by frustrating customers. I am glad that I can vent a bit here at resellerrating.com.

I ordered a small xD card reader from Ace Digital through Amazon.com. I recieved a different model number than I had ordered and sent an email inquiring about a return or refund. I was told that the model I had received was the replacement to the other model and was not offered a refund or return. Since the product functions as I wanted (even though it's much uglier), I decided to not pursue the matter further.
I gave them a 3/5 (neutral rating) on Amazon.
I then started recieving calls and emails from an Ace Digital representative. While I generally appreciate a customer service rep who tries to solve my problems, this was not the case here. The rep tried to bribe me into removing my Amazon feedback (offered me a $5 Ace gift certificate for future purchases and a "direct line" to him at customer service, but didn't offer a refund or replacement.) When I told him I thought my rating accurately expressed the transaction, he got kind of pushy. Needless to say, I never recieved the $5 gift card. Over the past two months, I've recieved 3 emails, and seven phone calls (four voicemails, answered and spoke on the phone with them three of the times). Showed camera "in-stock" but as you could probably guess, no where close to being in stock. 3 days to reply to my e-mail. I come from the newegg.com standard where things ship minutes after I order them. Eventually all of these 2nd tier players will be gone and the newegg's of the world will survive. Good riddens.

Items arrived quickly - less time than anticipated. All items were as ordered, and not damaged in any way. Good service, good products, good prices.
