I ordered a beefy server to run my web site on. The server was built exactly as expected and I have had no problems with it. I have just completed building the OS on it and transferring all the files and I am very impressed with the box.

What can I say...WOW. Purchased a system online. Want to say within 2 weeks was at my door. They keyboard wasn't working properly, again used the net. E-mailed about the problem. New keyboard was sent, didn't even have to send the old one back. Great site, great prices, great service. I will definately shop with them again.

Ordered custom computer from AVADirect.com. I bought it because our old one was, well, old. And I couldn't play new games on it, and it was getting slow for my purposes of music recording and media editing.  
 
Very satisfied with pricing and construction. Was shipped a defective surge protector; I sent it back and received another one half a week later. Computer works great, feels great, tastes great. Will shop at AVADirect again.

My experience with this company was terrible.  
 
I am the technology coordinator for a school district, so anything that ran on batteries or electricity I have purchased. I have never had a more negative experience than with this company.  
 
I ordered 5 machines. None would start up. They were all dead on arrival! No power, nothing.  
 
I e-mailed a complaint, but no matter what, it was going to be costly for my school. I fixed the problems myself.  
 
When I e-mailed them about it, they blamed it on DHL and wanted to file a claim against them. I explained to him that it was the cheap case and case contents. The whole thing sounded like a scam.  
 
The only thing these guys will guarantee is rude service and excuses, and there is no way I will do business with any company associated with AVAdirect.  
 
They will not take responsibility for anything that goes wrong. If you order a machine from and it work fine. They are ok. But if something goes wrong, expect problems. I got five with no power, and then I no support.  
 
I would stay away from this company and its many subsidiaries.

Just for the price - hard to beat the systems built up by this company. The price of the entire system was actually cheaper than if I had to build it myself. Other custom system builders were at least $1500 more. Only complaints are with the RMAing a defective part and how the service department handled it - usually the weak point in any company. Sales were the other way around - Misha was 100% on the ball. Had a defective videocard )Radeon 9600SE with a chipped core and no thermal paste on heatsink). Took about a week for them to issue an RMA number and about week to ship out a "replacement". Problem was - the card was the same one I shipped in - still had chipped core. The fix was adding more thermal paste. Since my time is money - pursuing this any further would be a total waste of resources. Will turn it over to the purchasing department to handle for now. Probably will not be buy from them again - need something that is 100% out of the box, everytime. As they say - you get what you pay for.

AVA Direct has given me good service and follow-up on the orderd I've placed with them during the last year.

I have searched many stores online and locally and I have always turned to this vendor for most of my needs. They are very friendly and have some of the best pricing on computer equipment. The orders always come as promised and sometimes with extras not looked for. If there ever is a problem they are quick to resolve the problem. They are also very honest and will not promise you something they cannot deliver. Thanks A Lot for being my primary vendor and being good at it.

A great company. Got everything I needed+more (I think I got a 12X dvd burner instead of the 8X I ordered. Sweet!!) The computer arrived a day before it was supposed to, which was awesome. Good customer support too.  
Plan to order a few more things off the website in the next month or so...

I ordered a laptop from avadirect their p4 1500 series laptop with a p4 3gig processor, 512 megs of ram and 128 meg ati radeon video. I received the laptop in nine days and couldnt be more pleased with this product. Misha is one of the most knowledgable and helpful sales people that I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. My order was processed and shipped in a very timely manner, and packaged very neatly and securely. The performance of this machine is unmatched in any other laptop that I have ever seen. I would recommend doing business with them to any one who asked, and I will most definatly be purchasing my next desktop from them.

These people are fantastic. the system that I had configured was a bit flawed, they helped me fix the error and these machines are FAST. We use them for bioinformatics and we like them very much.

Great store! Have bought from them twice and been nothing but impressed with the quality, selection, and pricing. You can beat them on a few components, but the overall package beats the effort.

These guys are AWESOME! Misha, was more helpful than I even expected, very helpful and made it a point to give me a phenominal and fun purchasing experience. They are very kind and honest about what they sell and give professional true advice when you ask for it. I got an awesome deal on a system that I thought would cost more but they were nice enough to inform me of certain things so that I was able to get about 20 bucks off. I cannot say enough about AVA, these guys know their stuff and in my opinion are more helpful and definately more knowledgable than DELL. I am VERY pleased with my purchase and will definately refer people without hesitation. Thanks AVA for treating a fellow computer GURU so well.

A system (1 of 5) was purchased in October 2003, failed in May of 2004. Under the warranty plan provided by AVA Direct, the system was returned for repair via an RMA (#159554). After waiting until July for the system to be returned, AVA Direct was contacted. The status was: waiting for a motherboard to be repaired (none in stock). Finally, the system was shipped out by DHL. For some strange reason, unexplained by DHL, the system sat at the depot in St. Louis from 8/10/2004 for 10 days and then was returned to AVA Direct. It was found to be damaged in shipment by AVA - case damaged, and hard disk failed. Finally after several more weeks went by and the system was finally returned to me for use on 9/15/2004. AVA has filed a damage claim with DHL.  
 
However, it now has a new case and MB, hard disk, and was found to be missing 256MB of memory. The original system had been shipped to AVA with 2 - DIMM 256MB PCI2700, DDR 333, but now only had a single 256MB DIMM memory. AVA swears that it was shipped back to me with 2 DIMM, but said they would look around to see if they could find the missing stick. I have not heard from them since.

I recently purchased an AMD based system from this company. One word...Outstanding!  
 
The motherboard that I wanted was replaced by a newer, better version at no extra charge.  
 
They kept me up to date on everything and I received the system when they said I would:)  
 
I will most assuredly being purchasing from them again.  

AVA Direct did a good job of building a quality PC and also a good follow up. Good Job.
