I found AVA Direct on google based on ResellerRatings after I had a very bad experience with CyberPowerPC. To be clear, AVA Direct is the trustable lowest price online store for custom PC. Yes, I did extensive google research. And AVA Direct website give many choices of custom components at very reasonable price. I was really impressed by the detailed spec and pictures on each particular component. That gives me further confidence that AVA Direct is very detail oriented and professional and reliable.
My Core i5 PC arrived with nicely packed. Foams were used between internal components to avoid shipping damage. PC works without problem at all. Very glad I chose AVA Direct. You will understand the reasons behind the high ratings about AVA Direct on ResellerRatings and somewhere else on internet

This is a good place to put together a system if you know what you need; The choice of part and options is better than any other site and the quality of the building is very good. The price of parts is at PAR with other online retailers.

Simply could not be happier with AVA. Never used them before, but I will use them from now on!
Their website was easy to use, they have a great selection and great prices as well. The whole ordering process was very simple and easy to use.
I can't tell you how happy I am with my machine. AVA did a fantastic job doing a wire tidy and taking care into ensuring that the computer was assembled and my concerns were addressed during production.
It's SO powerful and SO quiet too! My games load 2-3x faster, and my Adobe applications start in record time! The folks at AVA have been very helpful and it's easy to see that they are professionals in the field who want only the best for their customers.
AVA comes with my recommendation in spades. Simply couldn't say enough good things about them.

I had previously purchased a customized desk machine and was looking for a server. The box was delivered a few days early exactly as ordered.
This is a boring result of a much longer ordering process to create a system with the specific components needed. The patience and expertise of the sales associates lead to uneventful implementations -- which is what I really seek in a business partnership. The box arrived, all of the out-of-system parts were found in box, the power, networking cables connected and with the addition of a keyboard and mouse the system went live and and been productive ever since.
I've not had any issues or problems with either of the purchased systems -- the new 2x4-way server or the previous purchased "desktop replacement" box which has been in service, continuously, for about 10 months).
But AVA Direct is becoming my first stop when additional parts, or systems, is needed.

I bought a PC from AVA direct 1/1/08. The ordering, delivery, and performance of the PC was fine. I purchased a "Platinum" (5 year warranty) from AVADirect.
The PC has a RAID 10. Two of the four hard drives failed, but because of the RAID, the system still functioned without loss of data. I sent the PC back to AVA 9/09 for repair under warranty.
In general, it's more meaningful to evaluate a company when problems arise than when things are going smoothly. I am currently waiting to see how AVA handles the repair and look forward to giving them a favorable review. I'll keep you posted!

Great experience. I've purchased several computers from the "big box" people such as Dell and Gateway, this is my first custom built. Everything went smoothly, machine arrived ahead of expectations and built quality is superb. I would recommend AVA to anyone who wants a quality computer at a very fair price.

First time buyer. Was quite happy with my system, arrived well-packaged and well-built. Would've maybe liked a little bit more feedback from customer service regarding the parts I picked for the custom system. Otherwise, no complaints, system runs stable as a rock.

I think AVA does a great job in bringing excellent pricing and customer service to its customers. My customer rep, Chris Mundy, kept me informed and updated on the status of my order and wasn't satisfied until I was happy with the results. I will recommend AVA to anyone looking for a new high-performance system.

I've been using AVA for several years now. I first discovered them when I priced out an Alienware mid-level gaming rig. I then took the hardware specs from that rig and shopped prices at other companies, and AVA had the good and blew the price away.
When my processor died, I called AVA to buy a new processor, motherboard and video card. They were out of the ATI 800s, so they gave me an ATI 850 for the same price! Plus I was talking to a tech guy, not a 'sales' guy, who made sure i had a big enough power supply for the new heavy duty video card. It wasn't like high pressure sales pitch of "get this new gee-whiz thing for only 99.99!" He was very knowledgeable, and knew I'd have problems with my old 500 watt job and the new vid card.
When I wanted to buy new memory (years later), I totally forgot what 'flavor' went in. I shot a quick note to the techs with my order specs and they told me which to get.
Finally, I had enough budget for my upgrade (this is like 5 years later, not that my old machine had any problem handling my games and apps, but it was getting long in the tooth). I got a good gaming beast under 1500, with mondo video card power. I gotta love not having the hassle of putting everything together, and (agony of agonies) loading the OS. They even partitioned my drive for me, to my specs! I thought I'd have to do it over. No bloatware installed, no crap. My new machine is a dream! Top of the line gaming case, four HUGE cooling fans... and all I had to do was plug it in and turn it on! (And, heh, get all my stuff transferred to the new hard drive!)
I only hope they don't start getting SO much business that they have to start cutting corners or being less thorough just to keep up. But for five years on... they're still rocking!

I purchased an MSI laptop from AVA Direct in July, and I have now had it for a little more than two months. The sales process is easy and secure. The website has great tools to track your order and stay in contact with AVA Direct regarding any changes or modifications to the build of your machine. After two months with my machine, I can say that I am very pleased with both the laptop and my dealings with AVA Direct.
AVA Direct is an exceptional company to work with. They have great phone and website support, and their product offerings and prices are fantastic. I would recommend them to anyone looking for great laptops at great prices.

The hardware selection you provide for custom computer builds is possibly unmatched in the world for an online service of your caliber. It is without a doubt the differentiating factor between AVADirect and other online computer builders. The quality of the build is also excellent. I looked around for a long time before making a purchase and I have also bought from other custom builders in the past --I can say that AVADirect is the only company in the market which I trust and respect. I just hope that you guys maintain this level of service for long years to come so I can buy all the computers I need for the rest of my life from AVADirect!

I ordered a m980nu gaming laptop (2x280 /QX9300) from AVADirect after I already had compared different online stores and also similar Alienware notebooks. And yes ... it's fast, great and also rather shiny.
I already was leaning towards AVADirect considering their great reviews on ResellerRatings.com. Price wise most stores were quite similar. However on the weekend I ordered the prices for QX9300 CPUs were particularly reasonable. No other store could compete with that. So I went with AVADirect.
What I definitely liked was the quick response I always got on my mails when I had a question during the assembling process (after I payed already!). It never took longer then 2 hours, except on the weekend of course.
They told me my graphic card was defect after the test run. I actually was supposed to wait a few days till they got new ones. I never bugged them to speed this process up, since they explain in their order paperwork that if anything doesn't work it would take additional processing time. However they just took a card from another system, that had to wait anyway for other reasons, only so I wouldn't have to wait longer.
This shows me that the AVADirect guys are not a bunch of robots. They really try to satisfy their customers.
I definitely recommend AVADirect!

When my old computer died on me, I did a lot of research into looking at different computer companies to figure out who I should order my next computer from. I've built a few computers in the past, but being busy at work, I wanted someone else to deal with the headache this time. A friend recommended AVADirect to me (after he had used them and was thoroughly impressed), and I took the extra measure of looking into some reviews of their products. Practically everything I heard was positive, if not glowing. I went on their website to look into ordering a computer from them. The selection of quality components was excellent. I ordered a barebones computer and in no time at all, it was built and shipped to me. The packaging was great and nothing in the computer had shifted or been moved out of place in the shipping. It was a very professional job from top to bottom. I've had the computer for a couple of weeks now, and it's still running perfectly. The price I paid was great and beat out all the other competitors hands-down. I really cannot recommend AVADirect enough. I am a very happy first-time customer and I'm sure to be back again.

Great experience, worked with Joseph Mundy to create my custom quote off the list, then Britnee from accounting to get the order approved. She was very understanding when the CC validation failed 3 times as I could not get my company billing address right... Keep in mind that they are very strict and require shipping address to be on file with your bank and also require a hand signed authorization form to be faxed or scanned and emailed. All this seems bothersome but justified as they are trying to protect themselves from fraud on multi-thousand dollar purchases.
The system was built and arrived perfectly packaged - don't forget to take out all packaging from inside the case - they secured my enormous CPU cooler inside against movement.
The built quality is outstanding, I have never seen such a cleanly and neatly assembled system. All cables are tucked away, but still accessible for you to add your existing hardware. I put 2 extra hard drives in 5 minutes (4 of those I spent figuring out the modular cable system of the power supply)
Last, but not least, their prices are reasonable, they are probably making about 10% of the price of your system as opposed to 40-50% some other custom builders do
Will recommend AVA to anybody who needs a custom build and tested system!
