Ordered a case from the website. Got confirmation email. 2 Days later I log onto their website and all of the sudden my order had been cancelled because the item was "out of stock" Does not honor their orders

I agree ioCombo is dishonest. If you ever see a deal on their website they wont honor it. At least thats what they did to me and a couple other people I talk to on forums. This review was modified by its author, yasoumalaka, on

I can’t say that there customer service is bad because as far as I can tell it is non existent. I have called 3 times to check on my order I have left 2 messages with no returned call and never an answer from any one. I sent them an E-mail detailing my concern with my order and still I get no response. I even left my phone number in my e-mail. I ordered a mother board witch they sit clearly stated ships in 24-48 hours. A week latter it still has not shipped but they charged my credit card the same day I ordered the product. This wouldn't be such a concern if I could get hold of a living breathing person to explain the hold up. I will never by another product from this site.
After a week of trying to get hold of some one, I received a phone call from Iocombo.com's customer service department and they told me the product was on backorder (witch by the way is not what there website said). After some complaining about them charging my credit card when they didn't know when the product would be in, they finally refunded my money. This review was modified by its author, khellman01, on

iocombo represented in both product discription and in photo that a cpu would be included in my order when board arrived and no cpu I contacted them through there rma process. That was on 12/24 it is now 1/11 and thay havent responded to my repeded requests for at least a responce. It has become apparent that thay will not contact me as the intent was to misled and ignore.I don't mind the misleading practice as much as the lack of responce to at least say thay will or will not do anything about it.

well i cant say im happy.
they had a sale on IDE cables, the site said they were out of 18" cables, so i ordered 24" cables, which is actually what i wanted. there was no option to choose color so i had to ask in teh comment box. my color requst was ignored. its just a color, not that big of a deal, so i look a little closer: they sent me 18" cables, which arent long enough to reach my drives! there was a reason i ordered the 24" cables!
i tried calling and emailing, i finally got an email back saying "we didnt have any 24" in stock so we thought we would at least send you something"
very poor way of handling it. they didnt respond to my reply to that requesting that they send me the right cables and take these back. *sigh* This review was modified by its author, EvilSpork, on

I am an extremely unsatisfied customer.
First, the online ordering system was screwed up. I was told that my order did not go through. Then the next day I had two charges to my PayPal account. I wrote the company /immediately/ via e-mail and called them on the telephone. They did not respond until after the packages had arrived at my door.
Second, the items did not match the description provided on the company's website. After requesting a full refund, including shipping, due to them sending me two items and the items not meeting the company's description, I was finally told by the person whose job it is to "make customer smiles", "You should've asked us first then we can avoid all this confusion." I must rebut this statement. It was IOcombo's online catalog and ordering system that failed--not me. I was not aware that the policy of IOCombo was for all customers to call before placing an online order, in order to "avoid confusion". I would interpret that as putting an undue burden on the consumer.
I was told that I could get a full refund, including shipping and handling from them to me and from me to them, with no restocking fee. Today I got my refund. Guess what? It was not a full refund. I got the shipping and handling back for ONE of the items from them to me. The way I see it, they still owe me around $12.00.
If you are considering making a purchase from IOcombo, I would urge you to rethink. Overall, the customer service is completely unacceptable with this company. If you order from them, you do so at your own risk. You may receive an item that is perfect. If so, more power to you. However, if you receive an item that is problematic for any reason, I truly feel for you. You can be assured that returning your item will be very unpleasant. Nobody should have to deal with such shoddy business practices and unacceptable customer service.

Ordered a video card that was on sale and in stock, the price remained the same all weekend and only until late today (monday) did they finally decide they didnt want to honor their price. Well the fact is they charged and invoiced me so now I have to wait several days before the money is refunded effectively stopping me from even ordering a card elsewhere till its cleared. This is very shady and not any way to treat their customers, if they didnt want to honor the price they should have cancelled before they charged my card. Once they charged me they should be obligated to ship the product, once you buy something in the store they cant take it back after you already paid. I will be reporting them for bad business practices and certainly will never shop with them ever again.
Update: At least I did receive the refund, still not a happy customer. They dont even care about their feedback, they requested me to drop the issue of pursuing them to honor the price because their profit was more important, customer satisfaction or what people think of them was only secondary and this was stated by their own employee/CSR when I was contacting them. On July 27, I found out about a deal they had on round IDE cables, which I needed, so having heard the store's name before and seeing they had good ratings, I figured a low price / low value item like some round cables would be a good test run. So I ordered them. I watched the status on the order for the next couple days since it said "will ship within 24-48 hours". After the third day I emailed them asking why the delay. I was just wondering, and perfectly willing to wait longer. The items were well priced, the shipping was inexpensive, and I didn't need them in a hurry. I got no response after the entire day and entire weekend. By mid-day on August 1, I noticed their live chat was online (something I've only seen that one time, after all the times visiting their site), so I jumped on. I talked to a guy named Sebastian. He told me that it would ship "tonight or tomorrow at the latest". I waited another 2 days and finally was fed-up enough to send an email requesting they cancel the orders. Only after that did the status on the order change to shipped and I received a response saying "If you need the item sooner you should use UPS ground instead." That had NOTHING to do with it, according to their website, the item was supposed to have shipped within 24-48 hours of the order, but it did not ship for an entire week. If using the cheaper shipping method means slower processing time as well, they should fix their website to reflect that.
I have a feeling the cables I requested were out of stock, and instead of sending me an email telling me that, they ignored me and lied to me. Their website also seems inadequate when it comes to updating stocks and statuses. Their support seems almost non-existant, only answering emails when it suits them I guess, and never having live chat online. If they can't even handle my trivial little order properly, I don't think I can trust them with any more orders. I will probably not be using them again, despite all of the other good ratings they have.

Sent me an USED USB Card Reader with heavy scratches on it instead of NEW one. Agreed that "We might have accidentally sent out a product that has been used as a testing unit."
Offer me send it back for exchange on my own expense.

I was sold the Asus m3000n laptop which was advertised as having an SXGA+ monitor and Intel PRO/Wireless 2100 Network Connection, both of which claims are false. I received the laptop with a dead pixel, and when I called to get the RAM installed into the OEM slot instead of the user expansion slot, they told me they would charge me 78 dollars, which I refused.
They later told me that they had spoken with ASUS and that opening up the laptop to install the ram myself would not void the warranty. I called ASUS and they assured me that this is not true. After complaining about the SXGA+ monitor, they changed the description on their website, and asked me to prove my claims.
If I had known I would not be getting the wireless card, the monitor would be the same resolution, the ram would be installed incorrectly and the customer support would be unfriendly and unhelpful, I definitely would have gone with somebody else. I spent 1500 dollars on a laptop that is not what I ordered and I want my money back. I don't want to ever have to deal with iocombo.com again.

Asus M3000N is a barebone computer. Its very purpose is so that user can easily change the configuration/upgrade if they need to. To void warranty because of the very nature of the product is dazzling. |

Placed an order that morning but the total did not come out right, apparently the coupon code didn't get processed. I called them to explain, and Jason said he would cancel the order and suggested I place a new one. I did, but as it turns out both orders got charged and shipped. So I ended up with twice the product I wanted and paid 40% more for one than the other. I contacted them about a return or a correction and never received a response.

I bought the enermax refurbished case, but when I received the case, the front usb and audio i/o was missing. I emailed two people from the company who responded pretty quickly that they will ship me the part. To this day I did not get the part. So I emailed enermax instead and got the part within a week I think.
Moral of this story
Buying a refurbished case from iocombo luck shot.
Enermax customer support superb.
Another note:
The case also did not come with any screws or motherboard standoffs(whatever those brass things are called to support motherboard). Enermax came through with this as well. This review was modified by its author, true_battousai, on

I bought a GlobalWIN Silent Stream water cooling kit. Inspecting the unit upon arrival I noticed the housing was cracked (top is made of BRITTLE acrylic). I called IOCOMBO and was given an RMA number and I was told I would be reimbursed for shipping both ways. I was reimbursed for the purhcase price, but not for shipping. Serves me right for ever straying from Newegg.

Purchased Sandisk 1GB CF Ultra II from their site on Monday 4/26/04 because of decent price and availability (Site says AVAILABLE Ships within 48 hours).
Waited two days for a shipping confirmation and a tracking number, but instead found my order cancelled. Called Phone Support and they told me that the item was not in stock. Of course, there was no email sent saying it was cancelled and the reason stated on the order tracking was "unknown error, please contact us".
Although they said they will credit my card back the amount, I felt that I lost a few days (as I need the item for this weekend) by the incorrect availability on their site (otherwise, I would have gone with another company). This review was modified by its author, STR1, on
