This company was straight forward and professional! After reading store reviews on several cam websites, I was initially scared to death to order from any of them.I first called this store before I ordered online to ensure that they had the product in stock. I spoke with "Abe" and he assured me that they did. I informed him that I did not want to receive a follow up call about my order. He explained that was only done with purchases over $2000 and since mine was well under that, I wouldn't receive a call. I purchased the new JVC Everio GZ-MG27 on a monday at 11:30 am and received it on Wed. at approx. the same time! The camcorder was packaged nicely and the product itself was new from the manufacturer as stated. I would definately reccomend this store to anyone and will purchase from them again!
FRAUD!!! I purchased a laptop from Digital Megastore back in March 2005. They pushed a 3 year extended warranty on me, so I purchased it. a couple of months after I got my laptop, I contacted Digital Megastore to confirm that all was fine with my Warranty but they told me that since I did not "register" the warranty with a third party within a short period of time after purchase, my extended warranty was invalid. I demanded my money back. They took my money and I got nothing for it but attitude!!!!!
I ordered from DigitalMegaStore 2nd time in 2 months, and the experience was great both times. I ordered Sony Camcorder from the web, and the order was shipped per the agreement. I received the new camcorder in original manufacturer box. There were no sales calls to cross/up sell. I love the experience, and I will not hesitate to buy again from them.
Before ordering the digital SLR camera I called them and verified that they have it in stock, it is brand new in its original box. They confirmed it to me. I made an order and next day got an email to call them to confirm the order(?). It was very strange for me because the seller said they do not need any confirmation call (!). Anyway I confirm my order and got item in a few days. It was open box item...
Order wasa shipped promptly but they screwed up the billing. I paid for most of it with a gift card (I thought) and they ended up billing the whole amount to my Amex. Also, Fedex was late delivering so they told me they would have to credit the shipper ($40) and i would have to get my credit from Digital Megastore. Three weeks later the credit still has not posted.
Had a few problems but everything came out all right in the end - unbeatable price. The first attempt to order via the website did not go through. Got the hard sell call but that only lasted a few minutes. Shipped within a couple days - packaging was ok.
No problems to report. Ordered my Panasonic PV-GS250 and got the usual call the next day asking whether I wanted to take advantage of some specials on accessories (they did not insist after I declined). The camera, brandnew, shipped within 48 hours of placing the order and it arrived within 2 business days (I chose 2-3 day Fedex Saver shipping). Would buy again without hesitation.
I was very satisfied with their service. I received my product sooner than I expected. I will most definitely consider your company with regard to future purchases.
I experienced some dissatisfaction with Digital MegaStore. Placed an order with them for a Pentax *ist DS having the 18-55mm lens over the weekend. Someone from DMS contacted me later that same day claiming to "confirm my address," but tried to sell me other items, such as filters & batteries. When I asked, the person said that the camera was in stock and that it'll ship in a day or so, which is stated on their web site. Several days and phone calls later a customer service person finally admitted that the camera wasn't in stock. DMS had all but billed my credit card, which would go thru when the camera shipped. Only after I asked to cancel my order, I was then premitted to speak with the manager. He explained to me that a shipment would soon arrive and that my order would be turned arounded that same day, now Thursday, my shipping would be upgraded to FEDEX standard over night, and that I would receive an email confirmation. He assured me that I woud receive the camera by the weekend. Well I received an email with the tracking number. The camera shipped however not in time for me to get it for the weekend as it when out Friday morning. I then spoke with the manager again asking if my shipment could be changed to a Saturday delievery. He did say that he'll try, but I didn't hear from him again. So I ended up receiving it Monday. I did paid the advertise price, but I don't like being lied to.
Awesome!!! Great phone salesman. Suggested accessories but not pushy at all. One piece on backorder, was called and offered options and upgrade to better piece for same price. Fast shipping and no hassles. Fantastic price, fantastic service. I will be back!!
This was my best ineternet buying experience ever. The site said my product was in stock and would ship within 24 hours. Well to my suprise a mere 5 hours later I had an e-mail telling me my product shipped and giving me a tracking number. The shiping and handling charges were a bit high, but for that prompt service I think it was worth it (escpecially considering with shipping it was still 20 bucks cheaper than the next competitor). I wish every purchase I made on the internet would be this good.
Great price, great shipping time, and knowlegable staff. I got my order very quickly which i like a lot! Phone communication was excellent, I was hardly put on hold and if I was it was never for long.
