After researching prices for a particular bluray player, I somewhat reluctantly ordered from Digital Media Store. The reluctance came from some poor reviews here as well as being directed here by a competitor who would not match their pricing. However, after trying to get OneCall to match their price (where I've bought thousands of dollars of A/V equip previously) I chose to use Digital Media Store since their price was about $100 less on a relatively inexpensive and simple item. Turned out to be a fine choice as the unit arrived in just a few days, using free ground shipping and was in fine shape and currently being enjoyed in the home theater.
Now, I do believe that this store lacks in customer service as I tried a couple of times to reach someone via the "customer service" line only to hang up after long waits. I did then easily reach someone for "sales" who was able to answer my questions about my online order I had placed. So it gives the sense that post order service is pretty non existent.
Still, for simple orders where price is the main objective my experience was fine and I'd use them again for the same type of purchase.
Ordered a Canon HFS-100, great price. Had bad experience with Camera Giants (like many other people). Digital Megastore did email to request I call in to confirm - they did a soft sell on additional battery but wasn't a pressure sell and friendly. After turning down battery order was processed. After a few days delay due to being out of stock - they shipped as promised and US product arrived in perfect condition. Overall a good buying experience.

I ordered the SR12 Sony HD camcorder the weekend before Christmas. I got a confirmation call from Steve who offered me other items and extended warrentees but did not push when I said I was not interested. With free shipping the camcorder arrived the day before Xmas. Great price, very fast delivery, no bait and switch tactics. I was very satisfied.
I was looking for a Canon 40d body only and I found Digital MegaStore during one of my online searches. I had been looking at this camera for quite some time so I knew what the going market price was. Digital MegaStore was about $65 lower than Amazon and I consider Amazon a very good barometer of prices. I learned long ago about bait and switch stores such as Broadway Photo and their counterparts that have ridiculous prices and thus I always Google a store name before I even consider contacting them. Resellerratings.com had a favorable track record on them but the BBB had a few exceptions. I decided that any business doing maybe 1,000 orders a week is bound to have their detractors. I decided to call the store and find out what kind of person answered the phone. I didn't get his name but he was extremely polite, took the information, said it would ship the next day and with free shipping I could expect it in about 5 to 7 days.
The camera body arrived today (just 4 days shipping) and it is everything I expected. It's brand new, in the box, with the accessories and with the USA Warranty. I truly thought I could have a battle on my hands but I trusted American Express would bail me out if need be. Digital MegaStore did break up the 40d kit (removed the lens from the kit box) but that doesn't matter to me. I am very pleased and would do business with them again. I don't know anyone there and this is a true testimonial!
I chose Digital MegaStore through an internet price comparison site. The store had good reviews and offered the best price for what I was looking for. The day I ordered, Derek called and confirmed the order, was very friendly, didn't try to pressure me into additional merch, informed me of a few things I needed to know about my item and let me know the item was in stock. The item was shipped the next day, I received it today and am very happy with the price and service. I will definitely check Digital MegaStore next time I'm looking for other items.
I must admit to being a little skeptical when after placing an order I received a request by e-mail and phone to “verify” my order. I fully expected to receive the hard sell to buy additional accessories upon contacting the number provided. Given this, imagine my surprise when I contacted them and spoke to Derek, he genuinely wanted to confirm my order for security, and to make sure my shipping information was correct. The hard sell was refreshingly non-existent, he only ask if there were anything else he could help with.
I am sure we have all heard of pressure to purchase when “verifying” orders, even to the point of canceling orders when accessories are not purchased; I assure you this was not my experience. The product (Garmin Nuvi 750) was received quickly as promised; I could hardly be more pleased. I highly recommend Digital Megastore.

I ordered a new camcorder from Digital MegaStore. I really liked the confirmation phone call from a sales rep before shipping. Derek was knowledgeable and helpful during the call and answered all questions I had about product options and accessories. Shipping was very fast and items were delivered as ordered. This company was straight forward and professional! After reading store reviews on several cam websites, I was initially scared to death to order from any of them.I first called this store before I ordered online to ensure that they had the product in stock. I spoke with "Abe" and he assured me that they did. I informed him that I did not want to receive a follow up call about my order. He explained that was only done with purchases over $2000 and since mine was well under that, I wouldn't receive a call. I purchased the new JVC Everio GZ-MG27 on a monday at 11:30 am and received it on Wed. at approx. the same time! The camcorder was packaged nicely and the product itself was new from the manufacturer as stated. I would definately reccomend this store to anyone and will purchase from them again!
I ordered from DigitalMegaStore 2nd time in 2 months, and the experience was great both times. I ordered Sony Camcorder from the web, and the order was shipped per the agreement. I received the new camcorder in original manufacturer box. There were no sales calls to cross/up sell. I love the experience, and I will not hesitate to buy again from them.
No problems to report. Ordered my Panasonic PV-GS250 and got the usual call the next day asking whether I wanted to take advantage of some specials on accessories (they did not insist after I declined). The camera, brandnew, shipped within 48 hours of placing the order and it arrived within 2 business days (I chose 2-3 day Fedex Saver shipping). Would buy again without hesitation.
