I was scared to order from Top Choice after reading the reviews. I mainly stay with big names such as B and H and Abes of Maine but the price at Top Choice for my Canon 580 Speedlite EXII Flash was too hard to pass up. There was a slight salesman pitch when confirming my order but it was processed quickly and was sent an e mail. UPS then took over and updated the progress every step of the way. It was delivered on time and in perfect shape. Just took 64 pictures and I am very pleased with the results. For me I had no problems and will order from Top Choice again.

AVODI AVOID AVOID, I bought a camera from them, they made me call them to finalize my order I waited 30 minutes for them to finally answer. Then make you feel stupid for not buying extra added ons. Stuff that was not even needed. I would have gladly paid more to take my business elsewhere. Oh and the camera they sent me was broken and made me pay to return a a dead camera. Scammers!

Like so many others, I came here AFTER placing my order and receiving an email asking me to call them to verify some information, needless to say I was VERY nervous! I went ahead and verified the info, they tried to upsell me insurance and such, a 3 year policy for a per year amount, a way to make it sound cheaper than it was, I declined. The following morning I got an email with a UPS tracking number, and now 3 days after my initial order, I have the item in hand, unboxed and it is as expected! (or even moreso)
THANKS! Top Choice Digital for making me one of your satisfied customers =)

Its amazing that this company still exists. I ordered a Canon50D. The item showed up with an extra charge of $54.00 for handling and insurance which I did no authorize. The guy at their customer service who is clearly a scam artist said its the standard fee they charge. When I said that I didn't authorize it and it was not listed on their site he suggested that I should have known that. The camera came in a kit box even though I just ordered the body. Needless to say the kit lens was not in the kit box since they probably sell it separately. This company is a typical scam so do yourself a favor and avoid them.

I honestly was petrified after reading these previous reviews, but my experience was not all that bad. Ordered a Digital camera on monday(lowest price by a ton), said no to all the recommended ad ons, order processed and shipped the next day. Received it yesterday, and its perfect. So all and all Id have to say this was a great transaction. Would recommend using them again.

STAY AWAY! When you compare their price, you're not getting a true comparison because they open the box, take out the accessories and then sell them back to you separately. Hard sell tactics, stall tactics. I had to make 4 or 5 phone calls spending a lot of time on hold to follow up on the order. I did eventually get whay I paid for, sort of, but it was like pulling teeth. When you add the accessories you have to pay extra for and your wasted time and energy, this is far from the least expensive place to order your electronics.

The reviews about this company are right on. They offer low ball prices and promise to ship your product and then never do. If they price they are offering is too good to be true, then you won't get it. Now I have to buy my product from a different company and wait even longer... These guys are not worth the hassle or risk.

I'll add my $0.02 to the parade of complaints about this company. I ordered an HD camcorder (Sanyo Xacti HD1010) for which this outfit offered a lowball price. As always with a lowball merchant, I called them to make a human being promise me they had the item in stock. He confirmed that they did and that it would ship within three days. But then next day I got an email claiming my order needed "verification". As everyone else has reported, this is a load of crap and the call consists of them trying to upsell you on stuff you don't need. The guy tried to convince me that that battery that comes with the camcorder only lasts 20 minutes! I declined all and shortly got an email saying my order had been "confirmed". It is now 8 days later and no further communication from the company. I called this morning and waited 30 minutes on hold. I was told my order would ship today and I would have a tracking number by the end of the day. No such tracking number has arrived. I have canceled my order. If they bill my credit card I will report them to my card issuer as a fraudulent merchant.
As everyone else says: DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS MERCHANT if you want to ever actually receive your order. I should have searched for feedback before ordering. Lesson learned. I'll now go order from a reputable merchant.

This company is very poor. The company offers very low prices, but makes it difficult to get the product for the low price. Rather, after placing the order, you are sent an email suggesting there is a problem with the order and that you need to call the company. There is no problem with the order, the company merely has not had a chance to upsell you products and services at prices well above what is available from other legitimate retail outlets. Don't waste your time, just cancel the order and move on to a legitimate retailer.
At what appears to be their sister company (cameraaddict.com -- the cancellation emails and approach are the same), I took the bait and spoke to a customer service person (and it is a stretch to call these people customer service). This person attempts to upsell additional products and services. Scare tactics are used to suggest that you buy coverage at outrageous prices. I was told that the cost of a replacement lamp was multiple times that quoted by other resellers and that they go out in a year. When I told the person I was not interested, he asked if I was thinking before talking. Well, I asked for the order to be canceled at this point.
Ultimately, I paid about $30 (5%) more for the same product at a reputable dealer. It is simply not worth $30 to deal with a poor company.

I will never buy from Top Choice Digital again. I had to call to confirm my order and the entire time I was on the phone they tried selling me stuff I didn't need. The sales guy convinced me that I would NEED a memory card in order for my GPS to work. So, not knowing any better, I bought one. After realizing that I didn't need it I tried to cancel my order but they said it was too late. When I finally got it and tried to return it, they said I would have to return the GPS as well. This company is completely ridiculous. Do not order from them.

I ordered from Topchoicedigital.com before I read the reviews here; I was going to cancel but decided to give them a HUGE benefit of the doubt.
When I contacted them to 'confirm' my address, the gentleman asked me if I wanted to upgrade the batteries on the Canon PowerShot I bought, but I told him I already had batteries "thank you" and no more sales pressure occurred. The camera arrived in good shape today, and I cannot say the experience was nearly as traumatic as it could have been. I think the more expensive your purchase, the more sales pressure occurs??
My experience was OK; but next time I will save myself some anticipatory stress and spend the extra ten bucks on my purchase to get a vendor that does not need to upgrade sales.

Ordered a camera, called them (as they requested so they could high pressure me into buying additional equipment), received notice that my order was "processed" whatever that means. Upgraded the order to 3 days, (this after waiting over a weekend to call them), and still have not received anything. no e-mail responses to my requests for information. I don't believe they have the camera in stock! Stay away from this company

Scam. Placed an order for a plasma TV by phone. Salesman made it very difficult to buy only the TV by attempting to (hard) sell an extended warranty and / or overpriced cables. I refused any add-on's, provided credit card info. and was finally told I'd hear from the trucking company in 7-10 days. Five of those days have gone by and my credit card has not been charged. Appears they have no intention of filling the order since I did not purchase supplemental high margin items. The whole affair has been nothing but a waste of time.

All I can say is SCAM! This company is so ridiculous, they emailed to tell me I need to "confirm details on my order" after I placed the order so that they could aggressively bombard me with terrible upselling tactics. I refused the "extra extended life battery" offer about 4 times before he tried selling me a useless "extra 5 year warranty plan". After wasting 10 minutes of my time (I WAS AT WORK!!!) i told the guy that he was annoying me and that if he continued to try and sell me crap I didn't need, I would cancel my order. He did not stop. I cancelled my order. Hope they're happy now! I am happy to pay an extra $30 for a digital camera from a reliable retailer that doesn't try to push superfluous sales. THEY LOSE!

I purchased 2 Garmin Nuvi 250 Gps on 13th of Jan 2009 from topchoicedigital.com, Order number: T1249476. All of sudden my order canceled just like that, So i went to their website to check the status of my order and i was completely surprised to know that my order was not available but my items were available at their website for higher prices now. I called them and was directed to several extension and was on hold for more then 45 mins. Never recommend this website to my worst enemies, this people are criminals and their website should be closed.
