The item was cheap and shipped fast. However, it was the wrong item (possibly my fault, but the older generation and newer generation DuraFon handsets had the same picture and price).
I tried to return it. I even said that I would pay for ALL shipping and the 20% restocking fee. But they did not give me a RMA. I asked AMEX to help me with the return. Twister threatened me. Suggested that they would not take the item back, that its condition was compromised and told me to offer it on line for sale. They then suggested that if involved AMEX, the restocking fee would be raised to 50%, with a $35 and issue a claim against me.

Buyer beware! They will sell your credit card information to others!
Do not buy anything from this store. You will be sorry. You will receive countless threatening emails from the owner.

SCAM ARTISTS.
Do not buy ANYTHING from the Twister Group! THey are the worst company I have ever done business with! Not only did they send me an item that was broke, it takes sooo long to get a refund authorization from them and they are complete JERKS about it. Customer Service (if you want to call it that) are extremely unhelpful and RUDE. They charge a huge restocking fee for returned items even though they sent it to me broken! DO NOT DO ANY TYPE OF BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. I should've listen to these reviews. BUYER BEWARE!

TERRIBLE SERVICE. The ONE guy that answers the phone couldn't find the order, then said it was back ordered and blamed my server on not receiving the email confirming this. I asked him to resend the email confirming the back order and he hung up on me. Several calls back and the SAME guy answers each time with the same story. I WANT A PROMPT REFUND. We'll see if I get it. SHOP ELSEWHERE.

so, these guys threaten their customers (which is why i am not including the order number here). but this is a quote from an email received by their customer service:
'Please note that if we find any negative publicity we'll have to add your
information to fraudulent databases'
You figure if you want to do business with these people.
And this is what followed: 'We just added all your information to a couple of databases shared by many
merchants as potentially fraudulent buyer.
Hopefully they'll figure if they want to process your order after these

I ordered a couple items from this online retailer and paid for expedited shipping. We were told the items were shipped with the expedited shipping. Fedex had a delay in shipping and whe I requested a refund The Twister Group they told me I couldn't get a refund and even went as far as to threaten me if I would attempt totry and get my money back.
As it turns out, they didn't even ship it expedited as I requested and paid for.
This company lie and uses threats to intimidate.
They run this business out of a small run down house in Illinois and drop ship from other places.
Beware of this seller, you won't get what you pay for, and when you complain you will get threats of runining your credit if you attempt to get a refund.
Since I ahve made this complaint, this company has posted my personal order information and contact information on a public site. This company has no privacy policy and posts it's customers peronsal information publically when they complain. BEWARE! Caveat Emptor! This review was modified by its author, leonardmack, on

I ordered a PA system that was defective. The Twister Group's own website spells out their return policy as: NOT REFUNDABLE ITEMS:
* Shipping cost, wire transfer fees, customs and brokerage costs.
I received a return authorization number with instructions that included paying for shipment of the returned product. I haven't shipped the item back yet, but I gave the Twister Group a poor review at the Google Checkout site for this policy. Then I received this email from The Twister Group:
"Thanks for your order with The Twister Group.
We usually do not charge for shipping replacement. But since you decide to bash us in your feedback, we?ll do exactly as you stated: you will have to pay for return shipping.
Unless, of course, that feedback is removed. As it is not our fault that factory sealed item happened to be defective.

Is that a threat? Is that how The Twister Group does business? Do not buy anything from The Twister Group. This is how they treat customers and resolve problems. There are far too many vendors online to waste time and money with these clowns. Unfortunately I can't "remove" the feedback I already gave. I tried, not to have these thugs remove their threat of charging me for return shipping, but because I wanted to add this remarkable chapter to the review. You have been warned.

I ordered a toaster oven that cost $58, with shipping being over $18. It came, did not work, they wanted me to ship it back and pay for the shipping, another $18+. I'm sure I would then pay a third time to get my new one, totaling my shipping to the amount of the broken merchandise they sent in the first place. Too bad they can't send items that work, or at least own up to the problem and care about their customers.

Living in Europe I was initially happy to find a that The Twisted Group making overseas shipments.
Due to misleading product information and insufficiently technical support from the product manufacturer (Belkin) I hade already placed the order (a whole bunch of Belkin AV54000 bananas) before I found out that the product was useless for my purposes and the order had to be changed for a alternative product.
While the misleading product information etc is entirely to blame on the manufacturer (Belkin); I have the following negative feedback about the The Twisted Group:
• When ordering, I was sucked in to this “customer satisfaction questionnaire”, which in hindsight seem highly unserious since you are tempted to give them a positive feedback although your order has not even been processed (read: their service responsibility has not even started at that point)
• The shipping charge was very high in relation to shipping lead-time. So either I was overcharged on the shipment or they have really slow internal processes. (I was able to do a direct comparison since I hade placed a related order with another US online company.)
• I made the change order, and excused for the trouble caused. However, 9 days later I receive the package and it contains the old (terminated) order. Upon contact I receive the feedback that they have never received my change order. This is complete B.S. since I have sent all emails as reply on their original order confirmation and never received any error messages. Additionally they have received all my other emails.
• Finally, in all correspondence I have received these short and rude one-line (auto) replies, and they have showed no willingness to act on the problem caused.

We ordered a HD Mate Scaler. We received a GoldLantern G-Lite FreeBoard. They had some lame excuse about sending the HD mate scaler to Korea by accident and were not able to contact the receiver. So, I returned the Lantern, asked for a refund because they would not send the correct item within the time range I needed it. Today I am still waiting for my refund.

When the I tried to return the UNOPENED bags I bought from them, they quite rudely told me that if I didn't want the merchandise, I shouldn't have ordered it in the first place. Furthermore, when I commented on their lack of customer service, they proceeded to tell me that they'd show me what poor customer service really is by refusing to accept my return. It's almost funny how juvenile their behavior is. How can people like this actually stay in business?!?!

They listed a pixma mx700 and shipped me an mx300. Turned out the mx300 listing also had mx700 in it's title. This isn't an accident. This are still executing this fraud over on ebay.
Their so called "customer service" was incredibly rude and only sent me an RMA when I filed a paypal complaint.
They only returned my money when I brought law enforcement agencies in.
They then attempted extortion saying that I was to retract a negative review. I told them that I would not lie for them.
They have now turned to collection an amount equal to the value of the printer plus shipping both ways. Their fraud now includes failing to recognize receipt for the returned printer! This review was modified by its author, adamf663, on

I wrote a disappointing review of the Twistergroup in December because the tracking info indicated that I would not receive my package until 2 days after Christmas. I ordered my item on 12-18-07, which I thought was adequte time to send the item since I had paid the additional fees for expideted service. Low and Behold, I received my package on 12-24-07 at 6:30 in the evening (6 days after my order). Unfortunately I had already gone to a local store for the same item not knowing that I would have to wait until Santa arrived late on Christmas Eve to receive my order from Twister.
Because I received my order prior to Christmas I have received 3 request from Twister to amend my comments, one was threatening. So, I am amending my comments to advise anyone using Twistergroup to make sure they allow a minimum of 10 days to receive their order. If you need it sooner, I recommend another outlet. Am I happy about what I received from Twister? The order came fine, no damage, but since I had to make the same purchase from a local store, I ended up returning it. Twister Group shipped me broken radio, when i called they threated me. I have never had those kind of rude shopping experience in my all life.
They area really very very unprofessional and horrified people.
I surprised how can they still survived in this competitive online industry.
Good luck for the good experience buyer, but you may be the most miserable person when you find some broken items or when you try to return your purchase.
Absolutely Horrible. The most arrogant and spiteful customer service I have ever experienced

I am absolutely APPALLED at the way I was treated by their so-called "customer service". When I inquired about the length of time it is taking to get my order, I was met with sarcasm and a foul attitude. My question was not meant to anger or demean anyone; it was just a curiosity. At that point, I was completely surprised and taken aback, not quite sure I had heard the gentleman (and I use that term loosely!!!!) correctly. Not only did he make it clear to me that it was not his problem, but when I asked for a supervisor, HE HUNG UP ON ME!!!!! Upon my call back, I DEMANDED to speak with his supervisor, and he informed me that he had none (the only employee?? yeah right!), and then threatened to hang up on me again!!! In my opinion, the order could be absolutely perfect, and that would STILL not convince me to do business with this company again. Their customer service is severely lacking, flawed, and for all intensive purposes....non-existent.
I WISH I HAD READ THE REVIEWS FOR THIS COMPANY BEFORE MAKING MY PURCHASE!! THESE PEOPLE ARE RUDE & HAVE VERY SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES!!!!
