I purchased a D50 camera body from this seller on 5/08/2006. However, immediately after I ordered, they wanted me to call to confirm my address for shipping. After the phone call, the alternate shipping address was added to the credit card on that same day with the credit card company, but they still gave me the run around saying they couldn't ship the D50. When I checked the website, the D50 was out of stock and they were playing the waiting game on me. They never had the D50 instock in the first place to ship it and they were just trying to prolong my order shipment. After a few more days with a few more emails, they finnally said that they don't have the D50 instock and they were willing to sell me the D50 kit minus the len. To this date, I have yet to see this order materialized. Alll they do is talk.

This customer placed the order on May 8th. Our store policy REQUIRES that the shipping address, if it is different than the credit card billing address, has to be listed with the credit card company. We had the camera in stock (over 50 pieces in stock), but since the shipping address was not listed with the credit card company, we contacted the customer to have them add it. They complained about it but it is our policy so we could not budge, especially because the credit card holder was not the person who ordered the camera, and it was being billed in California and shipped in New Hampshire. The customer said they will do it and get back to us. The customer never got back to us, so after 3 days of waiting we tried checking for the alternate shipping address and it still was not listed. We then contacted the customer again and they stated that the shipping address was listed with the credit card company. We told them we just got off the phone with their credit card company and the shipping address is definitely not listed with the credit card company. We never heard back from the customer, so after 2 more days of waiting, we were running on low supply of the D50 and had to move to the next person on the list. We informed the customer, and the customer still insisted that the alternate address is listed with the credit card company. Just to triple-check, we called the credit card company again and it was STILL not listed. We had to therefore cancel their order because it was obvious and apparent that, after 6 days, the alternate address would not be listed with the credit card company. |

Honest store. I enjoyed the shopping experience with them. 1)They mark product availability seriously. Available really means available. 2)Competitive price. 3)Responsive customer service. Purchased a Nikon SB800 speedlight. Received it the day after it was shipped. Called with a question and was immediately given the answer by a human being. They do not sell gray market products and they were true to their word. Competitive pricing and ethical business practices prompts me to recommend them very highly.

Excellent service - no attempt to sell me other related items and order was processed the same day I called it in. Camera received in just 3 working days with standard shipping - exactly as sales person said it would. Excellent price. Product - Nikon D50 camera, accessories and warranty exactly as described by PhotoCraft. I would definitely order from PhotoCraft again.

I was so relieved to find a reputable camera store with excellent prices -- and my experience here reflected the great reviews. Ordered on Monday, received shipment of my Nikon D50 - brand new, fully outfitted in manufacturer's box - on Thursday. I'm so pleased!!

Anyone would be foolish to go elsewhere than to buy from this Merchant. I have made ePhotocraft my only source of higher-end items for my studio/business needs. The attention to detail and professionalism via phone orders is unpresedented. They will go out of their way to help in your needs without any "NY based hard pressed sell." you encounter from Photo/electronic retailers. If I would have known about ePhotocraft a couple years ago, they would have had ALL my business that I gave to other retailers and bit my nails everyday before my high/end/priced items were received and verified. I no longer have that feeling purchasing from this company (ePhotocraft) knowing that everything is, and will be fine with that item along with getting it shipped out that day or the next for immediate delivery.

I had an excellent shopping experience with ephotocraft. They really live up to all of the high reviews I read before placing an order for a Nikon D200 and 18-200mm lens with them. They quickly answered all of my emails regarding the backorder status of the camera (it is hard to find!) and even split up my order for me because they got the camera in stock before the lens. Then the actual shipping only took 3 days after they got their shipment from Nikon! Not only were the email responses fast, I was able to talk with their customer service within only 2 minutes of calling, and they were very helpful and pleasant. I am highly pleased with ePhotocraft!! You just cannot miss with this website.

ePhotocraft is very professional and easy to work with. On the phone they were helpful and not pushy. The camera they sold me was a good price and it arrived on time, in perfect, new condition as ordered. I will purchase again from these nice folks.

Excellent service, excellent camera. Would do business with again.
Before I tried to get the camera (DSC-R1) from two other online stores. Both confirmed the order, forced me to call them and involved me in a very unpleasant and pushy sales conversation. They never sent the camera, because I refused to buy more.
The guys from ephotocraft are honest and straight forward, no sales calls. They deliver what they promise at a very reasonable price (I paid about $100 less than elsewhere).
In the end, I am very happy with the shopping experience and the camera.

I love ephotocraft.com!! I ordered my new camera on Tuesday and received it 2 days later. They had outstanding customer service. Very friendly and helpful. Ordered Nikon D50, additional lens, and bag. Decent price, helpful, friendly, and best of all, they advertise they have no gray market products. Other places you have to dig to find out exactly what you're getting, and then you're not quite sure. There is no mistaking which side of the fence ephotocraft is on, the right side. You don't have to worry about anything with them, you get what you ordered, no pressure, no surprises.

I bought my first digital SLR (Nikon D50) from ePhotocraft. I was hesitant to go with a small store I'd never heard of, but the prices were reasonable, they're a licensed Nikon dealer, and their vendor reviews were exceptional. I took the chance, and I'm glad I did. I placed the order online on a Monday night, and by Tuesday afternoon the camera had been shipped. I received it today (Wednesday). It was exactly what I ordered (the camera kit, extra battery, extra memory card), and everything came in good condition. Prices were among the lowest I could find anywhere. I'll definitely shop here again.

Very smooth and honest transaction. Customer Service was excellent. Items on back order were not charged until material was shipped. Communications were good - both for the material that was immediately available and for the material that was on back order. Other internet sellers should use ePhoto as a benchmark.
