I had a wonderful shopping experience with WeaKnees.com. My DirecTV TiVo seized up and was replaced with DirecTV's own DVR, not TiVo related. I was so unhappy with this unit that I started investigating solutions with TiVo and was on the verge of switching back to cable so I could have a real TiVo DVR, when that saleswoman told me to look online for help. I found WeaKnees and read their troubleshooting section, then called for diagnosis and was given wonderful advice. I received my replacement hard drive yesterday, installed it today and am back in business with satellite TV and TiVo. I couldn't be more pleased with this company and their help.

Just wanted to tell you how pleased I was in your company. I used your Troubleshooting page to learn I had a bad Power Supply for a TCD140060. I ordered and received the part 3 days. Yes, I had Weakness and Dry Mouth to do it myself, however, your directions and pictures were perfect. Changed the Power Supply out in 20 minutes. My wife thinks I am a electronic expert.
Thanks again Weakness, you made me look good and I also am now enjoying your Weaknees TiVo Forum too.

I am very pleased with weaKnees. My DirecTV HD TiVo died. DirecTV tried to bully me into getting a leased DVR (non-TiVo) as a replacement for my owned TiVo. I think not. WeaKnees responded to my inquiry almost immediately. My order went through just as quickly, and was immediately shipped. Insturctions were very easy to follow. I was back up and running in no time.

Weaknees makes a great product. The Tivo upgrade kits are complete, with easy-to-follow directions, and their pre-loading the Directv software is a blessing. A pleasure to do business with.

The order was handled excellent from start to finish including prompt replies to my emails. My Tivo 40 GB drive went 'kaput' and not only did they have a new drive with the Tivo OS ready for install, the recording capacity increased to 160 GB as well as the response time of the Tivo itself for a great price. The instructions were so easy, a child could do it! Thanks WeaKnees!

These guys are the John Wayne of TiVo fixing. I didn't want to lose my lifetime subscription to the service by just buying a replacement unit, and they walked me through every step. I had written an e-mail with an attached photo of lights on the TiVo front panel. They responded with a message perfectly diagnosing the problem and outlining a fix. What a pleasure to call a tech who spoke English, and had a complete grasp of my one glitch in getting the box back together. I was on the phone for 30 seconds, problem explained...box repaired. Their print-outs are step-by-step, and had I followed them explicitly, I wouldn't have had a single problem. TiVo works fine. saved some irreplaceable recordings, and everything they said they would do, they did. Shipping was exactly as noted, fairly priced for two-day.
What a pleasure dealing with this company.
That is the way to grow business. I had written a letter to the CEO of TiVo, Tom Rogers, but did not get a response. Where do you think my upgrade business will go?

Great selection, lots of help and explanation of options, and lots of upgrades & parts available! Site is easy to navigate, ordering is easy and quick, and delivery was ON TIME! They are also were available for additional help over the weekend when I was upgrading my harddrive. Very responsive and I would look to them for more TiVo assistance and advice!!!

This organization knows what they are doing and how to do it! I had a local problem that the Direct TV techs could not help me with, but Weakknees.com answered my email within a hour on a Sat. with the right solution.

UPS delivered the kit at about 2 pm. I read the instructions, opened the machine, installed the new drive and replaced the original in the
bracket, added the new fan and closed the unit. Hooked it up and I was back in business at 3:30 with over 250 GB of new recording space. I can't tell you how much I appreciate this upgrade. It was just as easy as you state on the web site.
