Just want to thank you all for shipping the new Tivo HD to me in Calgary, AB, Canada so fast. It arrived within a day and was unpacked as fast as a present on christmas. It is up and working great with the current 6 or so SD and 2 HD channels that I receive OTA here.

The Worst customer service on the internet  
FWIW. I was a repeat customer with Weaknees and I have spent over $1000 with these clowns. I ordered a new DVR TIVO hard drive ( after their tech told me that is what I needed for my DVR with a locked up condition) It arrived and it was installed and it didn't fix my DVR. They said that it was bad and I would be charged for a 2nd hard drive (until it was shipped back to them ) The 2nd new hard drive didn't fix my problem either. I was going on vacation and needed it fixed so I ordered a complete DVR unit that did work. When I went to return the 2 hard drives that where purchased from them they said that I waited too long ( several days / weeks past their term and conditions) After several e-mails and complaints to their management they would only credit me with a 45% restocking fee. Nice.  
 
They are very help full when you are thinking of spending hard earned money, but if you have any problems with their products they will shut you down and keep your money. I suggested to their manager that their poor customer service ( in which I was charged for 2 of their hard drives which I didn't even need ) Then they had the nerve to charge me 45% restocking fee ( which should have 15% ) They told me that I was lucky I got anything as it was past their generous return policy.

Weaknees provided excellent service for a Tivo that stopped working. The diagnostics on their web site helped me identify the problem, and Weaknees shipped out a replacement power supply that arrived a couple days later. The web site also has very clear do-it-yourself instructions for changing out the board.

Great service! The online troubleshooting helped me correctly diagnose the problem with my Tivo, the shipping was fast, and the instructions for replacing the power source were simple to follow. I had my Tivo up and running less than an hour after I received my replacement parts, and I am not a technically inclined person!

Great! I ordered a 1 terabyte hard drive to replace the dead drive in my 80 hour Series 2 TiVo that I bought as a refurb in 2002. Ground shipping was free, it arrived in three days, and had VERY EASY to understand, step by step directions. It took me about 25 minutes to replace the drive, and now I have 1720 hours of programming capacity in basic mode!! I would totally use weaknees.com again, and will recommend it to all my TiVo peeps.

When my Tivo died I thought I was doomed. I had a lifetime subscription and thought I'd have to buy a new machine. After a short conversation with the technician at Weaknees.com I was told that the Tivo's hard drive had likely crashed (he was 90% certain). I ordered a new hard drive from them. The installation instructions were near perfect and easy to follow. Just under 20 minutes to pull out the old drive and replace it. 40 minutes later, after resetting the Tivo, I was back up and running with my lifetime subscription in tact. Highly recommended.

Weaknees was fantastic to deal with from start to finish. I got a great price on a 1TB replacement drive for my TiVo HD. Weaknees shipped it the next day and it arrived about 5 days later. It took me about 10 minutes to swap out the hard drives and have my TiVo up and running again. The entire process was flawless and Weaknees was very responsive to my inquiries before, during and after the purchase. I will definitely shop with them again!

My 4 year old TIVO stopped working. The Weaknees.com troubleshooting page correctly identified that the drive had crashed. Ordered a new drive (twice the capacity) and easily installed it with the excellent instructions provided. TIVO up and running within one hour of opening the new hard drive box.

HD TiVo - started to freeze and finally died. I found weaknees on line and a friend of mine had used them before and had nothing but great things You guys are AWESOME. I don't know TiVo works - I only know how to use it. You guys were patient, answered all of my questions - you are SO MUCH BETTER than TiVo support! I'm so pleased that I'm looking on-line tonight at your TiVo HD units with lifetime service.  
 
Before I called you - TiVo wanted $149 for a refurb box. For a little more than that - you gave me a new harddrive - with triple the capacity and I keep my lifetime service! I will NEVER buy a DVR from TiVo again!!!

The customer service department at Weaknees.com is extremely unprofessional. When I inquired about making a return after 30 days I was scolded with a curt email response. They made no effort to thank me for my business and politely explain that a return is not possible.  
I would NEVER shop with them again nor would I recommend them to anyone I know. Do not reward bad customer service with your business. In this economy they should treat ALL of their customers with gratitude. For all they know, I could have placed a large order with them in the future.

Ordered a 750GB external drive for my defective DirecTV HR21-200 (less than a year old). On any "leased" DVR from DirecTV, they will ship you a refurbished unit that, in some cases, is scratched, banged-up, etc. My new drive from WeaKnees arrived on time, in perfect condition. Setup was a snap and I now have more than doubled my capacity with my original, unblemished DVR. Would highly recommend WeaKnees.

This is one fantastic company. Pure and simple, a pleasure to work with and support.  
 
Originally, I had ordered a replacement hard drive for my DirecTV Tivo as it could only hold about 30 hours, and I wanted to upgrade to a higher capacity, something with over 100 hours.  
 
Before the kit could arrive, I began to have satellite problems with the box. I contacted weaKnees tech support, and they quickly and easily helped me determine the problem. It seemed both of the tuners were bad, and needed to be replaced. I shipped the box to them, and they were able to fix the problems. Tech support/ customer service was highly informative and extremely helpful.  
 
The box came back to me very quickly. Shipping times were superb. As was the packaging.  
 
Once I got the box back, I set out to install the replacement hard drive that would give me about 140 hours of storage, compared to my mediocare 30 hours. Install instruction were clear, easy and fast. I was done in under 15 minutes, and the Tivo powered right up, no problems what-so-ever.  
 
My Tivo is back and better than ever thanks to weaKnees. Before I found weaKnees, I had feared I would have to ditch my beloved Tivo and use the subpar R15 DVR from DirecTV. Thank heavens I found this wonderful company!  
 
I would defiantly recommend this company to everyone. I will be a repeat customer for life! Thank you

I was looking on the internet for a replacement direct tv unit with tivo and came across weekness. I looked over the site and information and decided that replacing the hard drive was the best optio rather than oder a used unit from ebay like I have in the past and i wouldn't have to deal with direct customer sevice and argue about the access cards and what not.  
 
The tivo came on time but got delivered to the wrong address thanks to ups. No fault of weeknees. Weekness did work with me no matter how upset i began that the goofs at ups didnt know where the package was. Within a couple of days mind you this was over a weekend weeknees overnighted me a new one in the meantime ups found the lost package.  
 
Anyway there customer serviced was great they responded to my email and my fustration with ups in a very quick manor. I would recommend weeknees to anyone. The hard drive was extremely easy to install anyone could do it. The instructions are very easy to read.  
 
Thank you weeknees I will order from them again!
