I ordered an apple green faceplate for my phat PSP back on the 16th of June, and received a confirmation email. It was supposed to have been shipped out via Express Mail and was to take between 3 and 6 business days. After 6 business days had passed, I emailed them asking where my product was. They sent a reply stating that it was shipped out on the 17th. That was a complete and utter lie. A few days later I emailed again, no response. Over the next few weeks I must have sent 15 emails, all with no response. I even contacted my credit card company a few times and was in the process of having them refund my money when out of the blue (28 days after my purchase, and all of those unanswered emails) my faceplate shows up today (the 14th of July). What really pisses me off is that the thing doesn't even fit properly (the plastic piece on the bottom of the faceplate where you put the screw was made too large, so you either have to break your faceplate, or not use it). Pretty bad service overall.  
 
Avoid modchip.com, consoleshop.com, modchip.de (I looked up the name of the person who sent my product and it's registered to modchip.de).  
 
The name of the person who sent it was Beatrice Zohmann, and it shipped out of Monaco.

how i wish i had read these reviews before placing an order!i placed an order totaling $75.00 for various bits & pieces for my two sons xbox 360's,after receiving the processing email i waited & waited for the shipping email but nothing.i sent four emails with no reply until finally i sent an email threatening legal action & suprise suprise they replied full of apologies blaming everyone & anyone but themselves.i have been informed that my order is on the way & to wait a few more days before contacting my cc.i await with anticipation if my order does arrive & i will follow up with what happened.i shall needless to say never use these or anyone associated with them again.

I ordered my item, a psp slim faceplate, on May 31st. I paid for the express mail option which is supposed to be 3-6 work days; its been over 10 work days and I have yet to receive my item. I have sent them a couple of emails and have not received any reply. I will give them until next week to reply or deliver my item or I will place a complaint on my CC for a refund.  
 
I do not reccommend consoleshop.com or anyone related to them. They appear to be a scam.

I ordered a WHISPER MAX FOR XBOX 360 and GELTABZ FOR XBOX 360 on April 2, 2008. After some emails I received an answer that they shipped april 3. Today is the 15th. and I hope I will receive my order otherwise i wil do a creditcard chargeback.

So, I ordered from this store some geek stuff. They received my payment and confirmed quickly that it was shipped to me. Good, I just need to wait 6 to 8 business days and if I don't receive my stuff they added that I can reply to them.  
 
11 business days after I did reply to them because I had not receive it.  
 
No reply.  
 
I sent 3 more e-mails after that.  
 
No reply  
 
I went to the support page on their web site and filled a message in the “contact us section”  
 
NO REPLY  
 
I would strongly suggest everybody NOT to buy from them.  
 
In May 2008 I finally received what I ordered. I had lost hope by then and was very surprised to receive everything.

I ordered XCM 360 FULL CASE *SMOKE BLACK* INC. ALL BLACK WIRELESS CONTROLLER SHELL with their so-called Best Price Guarantee program at a price of $47 (excluding shipping) instead of at the usual price $70 on 5th September 2007. I was tempted of buying item from them because of low shipping cost. The next day i received shipping info stating that typical delivery day is 3-6 days but i dont mind about that because my previous order from consoleshop took only 2 weeks to arrive.  
 
2 weeks has passed, my order hasn't arrive yet. I started to send some email to them to inquire regarding my order. They respond by stating they have courier difficulty. Again, a week passed by, try sending some more email to them, no response from them at all.  
 
For nearly 2 months i've been sending email to them in which none of it was responded, i gave up. Now i turn to the ConsoleShop forum and it turns out i wasnt the only one who has the same problem. One of the forum member started to do class lawsuit after gathering a lot of information about the ConsoleShop. Later after that, the forum is closed, and the link to the forum at ConsoleShop site was removed.  
 
Out of ordinary, i decided to give out a very bad review regarding their site at one of their item's review, namely the item that i ordered from them, SMOKE BLACK case, by saying ConsoleShop is scam, and by giving out this link.  
 
The review does show up at first, few hours later, the review got deleted. DAMN YOU CONSOLESHOP!!!  
 
I CONCLUDE THAT CONSOLESHOP IS SCAM!! DONT BUY FROM THEM ANYMORE!!!

OK. I'm the latest VICTIM :(  
Several emails sent, 4 in total. At this point I want my money back ($89.75); I do not want to deal with this LAME A** business any longer/ever again.  
 
Play Station Game Accessories ordered 10/7/07  
After the 8th day I have sent 4 emails, trying to find out if and when delivery would be made. I received one email (10/8) stating order processed and shipment in 8 days, 10/9, took my money (NO WAITING),The one thing they did FAST, all was well? They have no phone for contact and have not returned any of my emails. Its been 30 days (11/7) and still no reply? Not One? I can only assume at this point, they are not going to ship my order or refund my money. I have filed a fraud complant with my credit card company, This was the worst experience of online buying ever. Stay away, far away/beware(X)

got confirmation email on the 19th.  
 
today is Nov 1st. They have not responded to numerous emails. Simply one of the worst buying experiences ive had online.

I ordered around the same time as one of the more recent reviewers as well... My order was on oct. 12th, I first emailed on the 18th to ask whether it was shipped or not, and did get a response telling me it was. However, I have yet to receive anything or get any further communication from the company after repeated emailing. Its now way past the 8 business days they say to wait so I doubt I will get anything from them ever...

Placed an order for a modchip 15 October, same day I ordered a game from japan on ebay. The game arrived from ebay in four days. It's 31 October and I've yet to recieve my modchip.  
 
Modchip.com seem to check emails for order@modchip.com about once a week or so.  
 
The "ships in 24 hours" and items take "5-6 business days to arrive" language is very deceiving and makes for nervous customers.  
 
Will not use again.

Good. Prices were competitive to other sites and the installation instructions were very comprehensive. Although the website says you can expect the order between 3-6 days, disregard and expect it to take up to 2 weeks. Not an issue, but they can save themselves some headaches and low ratings if they just admit they ship slowly!  
 
They were, however, responsive to my email (no phone # to call) which made me less anxious.

Ordered a Swapdisk 3.6 + Slide-Card Combo on April 13th, 2006. I recieved a confirmation email later that night, stating that the product has been "shipped" on the 13th of April. It has been approximately 15 full business days since then, and I still have not recieved my order. I was charged $30.00, and never got my product.  
 
I sent several emails, only to be responded to days later with ridiculous re-assuring bullcrap. THIS COMPANY IS NOT RELIABLE! Not only are they scam artists, they're located in France. Go figure, huh?  
 
DO NOT ENGAGE IN BUSINESS WITH THIS WEBSITE!!!  
 
I will continue to update, and hopefully recieve my order soon... though I doubt that will happen.

I ordered a set of Swap Magic games on April 3rd from Modchip.com without reading any reviews. I patiently waited, and after ten days I e-mailed them. Shortly after that, I found this site and, after reading what everyone had to say, was pretty angry. Modchip.com didn't get back to me for five days, but oddly enough the package arrived that day.  
 
So, their customer service is horrible and their products definitely won't arrive in three to six days, but it did arrive. I wouldn't say they are scammers, just not very competent.

Originally I had placed an order on the 8th of January. I never ended up receiving the item. On January 24 modchip.com is sending me a new item, via UPS. They emailed me a tracking number, so I'm sure to get the product now.  
 
I originally sent them a letter on the 19th and they responded on the 20th asking to wait a few more days. A few more days went by and on January 23rd they wrote me saying if it isn't in by Monday - to write them back and they'll send it out ups. Since it didn't arrive monday, I wrote them back, and it appears today (24th) they are sending it out via ups.  
 
[Another update] - received the product on time. It came from France and got here within 2 days, like they said it would. I thought it was very fair of them to accomodate in this way and am happy. My only complaint is the product came without installation instructions, but I found those quickly on the web.

My order is pending (not received yet). I imediatly got confirmation email. That was sat. Monday I got another email the order was shipped UPS express. So far so good. I checked mod sites first before choosing this store. And from them it was recommended as being one of the largest US dealers.(over 20 diff ones). So I took the plunge not checking here first. Should have checked here but o-well. At any rate after looking into this site and mod-chip.com. I have found something out. I know someone said before this co. is not affiliated with the other store. But both mod-chip.com AND ModChip.com have the same layout, store front even notice at bottom of page as to what a mod chip is. Further more the shipping fee and type is the same. The location of owner (Austria) is the same. The emails are similar. AND the garuntee of beating any price by 5% is the same. Coincidence or same co. I don't know. But thats ALLOT of coincidental evidence. Id say they are one and the same. Also they must have two locals or something. A u.s. center I don't know. But the domain is registered to a man who resides in VA. Thats Virginia. If they arent the same site then one of them needs closed for basically coping their site and steeling customers. Would be like setting up a new-egg.com and making it identical but being a diff co. Thats not right. I'll update when my order is recieved here in the states.  
 
 
 
UPDATE> recieved order Tuesday, May 03. Thats 7 buisness days. The email they sent upon mailing said 6-8 buisness days sometimes a bit longer due to delays. Im very happy with this co. Package came from Switzerland by the way. And arrived in the U.S . as fast as possible. For $3 shipping-superb. Will do buisness with them again. Packaged very well also. Dont know why all the negitive reviews. Delays can be expected with ANYTHING but debit or CC. Due to $ clearing. So be awaire of that. Like all orders this is the fastest payment method. They get a A+ from me.
