The order was for two items that showed as in-stock. Items did not ultimately ship until July 11th, 7 days after placing the order. Repeated calls to ExcaliberPC revealed that they "forgot" to transfer the items to the shipping warehouse -- several times. Given that ground shipping and handling charges exceeded $28.00; I would have expected more expeditious handling on their end.

Very dissatisfied. They sent the wrong product. Said they would replace it with proper item, then canceled order with out notifying me and refunded only partial amount originally paid. It seems that this is a one man operation trying to put on a verier to make us think they are a large company. Very nonbusiness like.

I recently tried to buy an Asus G1 off these guys. Everything was smooth for about 10 minutes after placing my order. Then I get an email saying my creditcard was declined (even though I had the money to buy 4 of these laptops instead of just 1). So i tried to call their customer support...what did I get? Nothing. I had to wait from friday evening all the way until monday morning to get in contact with these jerks, and it took an hour of spamming their phone lines to get one of them on the line. When I finally got to talk to them they said the information I entered was incorrect. So I went through all the info with them and it ALL was in fact correct. So they resubmitted the charge on my card and it went through this time. After that they said that they would ship it by the next day. I call back the day after next and what do I get? "Sorry the information you gave us was invalid, we wolnt ship your laptop until it is correct, but we did charge your card anyways", then when I told them that they were wrong and that ALL my info was correct they tried to get me to give them all sorts of personal information in order for them to "verify" my order. I then told them to go to hell and cancle my order. They cancled my order but then made me wait for 48 hours before they would refund my money. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM, ALL THESE GUYS WILL GIVE YOU IS TROUBLE.

Company refused to honor a clearly stated price of $3.87/10-pk of Lightscribe DVD+RWs. Rather than simply admit that it had been mispriced and honoring the order as placed, they only shipped one box, charged $51 (including shipping), and then haggled the price down to $14 (including shipping) for that one box, rather than the 10 boxes ordered. I feel that this was a straight bait-and-switch, and will NOT do business with this company again! I could easily have gotten the same package of DVDs from a local store for aout $11 including tax, and not have had to wait to receive them by FedEx. Buyer beware!!!

I am very disappointed with excaliberpc.com service, I placed my order to buy a 1) Sapphire Radeon X800GTO AGP 256MB 256-bit GDDR3, VGA/DVI/TV-OUT, Brown Box [
SKU: 100131 video card, and today is still the 4th and the answer I got was: The billing phone number you provided does not match our record, please call us
at 877-289-3972, so we can assist you over the phone.
I have been trying to call all day long and nobody is available, they already charged the money from my account, I also paid a little bit more to rush the order, to get before I get back to the States. I hope everything get fix with this company, everytime that I bought anything from another company I got my order within 3 to 5 days max.

Chernobyl class disaster!
Part 1: Ordered a Corsair CM2X512-4300C3PRO DIMM from www.eXcaliberPC.com (-$130) based on a www.PriceWatch.com listing. I got the wrong part (CM2X512-4300C3)(Problem 1a), it was late (FedEx’s fault)(Problem 1b), and defective (Problem 1c)! 3 of 5 objectives failed according to THEIR reliability policy (http://www.excaliberpc.com/reliable.php)! Called eXcaliberPC, they said they’d have FedEx return to pick up the part (that day) and return it to them and to reorder (no credit/exchange) the correct part (another -$130). I did so and insisted a free upgrade from std FedEx shipping to Overnight Priority. They did so.
Part 2: Got the correct part the next morning (on time). Gave 1st defective/wrong part to FedEx guy to return. eXcaliberPC said they’d send a person (assumed FedEx) to get it the prior day, so they were late again. Problem 2 is that part was again defective (I’m a computer repair Tech, I know bad RAM). Despite being pissed, I calmly called eXcaliberPC again, rep was useless and didn’t care, but did speak decent English this time. She told me that they didn’t have a replacement part, to talk to Corsair directly. I asked her if I would get some kind of credit for them selling me bad product, not honoring promises, and such horrid overall service. She said ‘why would we give you any credit if you’re not returning anything’. I hung up. Called CorsairMicro, got RMA in under a minute. Problem 3 is that Corsair ended the CM2X512-4300C3PRO and replaced it with CM2X512A-4300C3PRO (Notice “A” variant). Corsair offered to replace my new defective DIMM and my original matched working DIMM. This means that eXcaliberPC cost me about $260 (no $ returned yet), a week of aggravation, and now around 1-2 weeks w/o my computer (since it will now have 0MB RAM).
I admit they had a killer price on the RAM, but it’s hardly worth the problems cuase, especially since I have a schedule in mind.
P.S. About 2 hours after Fedex delivered (and I gave them the return package), UPS showed up expecting the defective RAM. eXcaliberPC said nothing about send another carrier let alone sending them later than promised… This review was modified by its author, EJS_01, on

Excaliber is ok. I liked everything about their shipping and selection, but their customer service is definitely sub-par. I didn't realize that their policy on memory, cpus and hard drives was not to accept any returns at all so i bought some nicely priced DDR2 from them. When I experienced some issues and wanted to return it, I was disappointed with their service dept's lack of interest in helping me out. I don't intend to deal with them in the future as their objective is to make an extra buck on every sale rather than serve their customers well. Newegg it is.

Ordered a tough-to-find ASUS motherboard & the shipping for Express was $18.44. The shipping portion of the site shows a FedEx icon & a DHL icon. One of the option is for Express Ground. Express is synonymous with FedEx & that's what I chose it as it generally takes 3 days to arrive from CA. A couple days later I receive my tracking number & when shown on FedEx's website the shipping is listed as Ground Domestic. It will take over 7 days to reach my door... for $18+???
I call to check on the discrepancy between what FedEx shows, and what I paid for. After 3 attempts to reach customer service I try their tech support line & talk to 'Steve'. Steve tells me there was an error in the shipping weight & that I will receive a refund for the shipping. It sucks, but I suppose it's fair enough. Two days go by and I have yet to receive any email concerning the refund so I call again. It took several attempts but I finally reached someone in 'customer service', and after explaining the situation, I was put on hold for 5+ minutes. A new person answers the phone and it's my good pal Steve, at first I have to refresh his memory but Steve quickly remembers the issue, and makes an offer to change the shipping to $10... For 7 day ground? At this point I'm a bit peeved that I'm getting a partial refund on a mistake they made, but I go with it, heck, at this point I'm more upset my board is not going to arrive until Monday. This time Steve guarantees me that the refund will go through that night and that I will see the refund tomorrow. Well, that will be today, and nothing has been posted. So I decided to call customer service back again. Good news, I got Steve again, I suppose he's the only that actually works there. At any rate, it seems that someone else got my refund, and after a few minutes I was finally able to get $7.44 off my $18.44 7-day lamer ground shipping, not the FedEx Express I originally chose. Even though a refund was given, the amount of trouble for a mistake caused by them should have had more concessions in the end. Ultimately, I could have ordered a different board from them and paid less than the $10 ground shipping that I paid for. My guess is that the math was easier for them. All-in-all, it was completely unacceptable to make a customer do that much, for a mistake caused by the company.

I recently ordered a case from them for my PC. Having never ordered from them before, I sort of expected a little delay with my alternate shipping address. I was correct. I get an email saying my order is on credit hold because they can't verify my shipping address. That is fine, I actually appreciate that they are looking out for me against fraud, no problem. However, I called my bank and had it fixed with them and then called the company to get it straightened out. No one answers in the credit dept. I call back several times throught the day..... no one there. Finally, I email them. I wait... no response or change in my order status. I call back... still nothing. It has been 3 days now and I still have yet to talk to anyone helpful and my order is still on credit hold. My mistake here was not ordering from Newegg, and it will not happen again.

Prompt shipping and well packed.
But have had nothing but problems with the XP M-2600 I ordered and the folks there. Customer service has stone-walled me.
If successful resolutions of any potential problems is important to you then you should shop elsewhere.

bad,
website states reason for non-sealed factory retail box is because they upgrade the NF7 boards with the latest bios, guess not mine, i flashed it last night, wasnt a new bios really, other i had was a year old.
they offer 5$ credit if they dont sell as advertised, if your not gonna upgrade the bios you better send me a factory sealed box, and also when someone calls to speak with you to get that 5$ credit you should give it to them. its advertised! bigger problem, an american located reseller doesnt understand english and cant communicate with you, i can only imagine the nightmare if i had to return something to them.
after 10 minutes of trying to explain to them they told me to RMA the board they still didnt understand me.
i hung up and browsed to this website.
no excaliber again.
btw, i guess when excaliberpc.com called my Credit card company to verify the purchase, they couldnt understand and couldnt get the verification. My bank called me to verify them and then excaliberpc.com called me and i told them to call back, address is there on the account, no special shipping.
lol
be leary, if something goes wrong with these people you better like to wait, i be able to say the same thing over and over again.

Ordered a Raidmax blue case. I received a black case only after I called and e-mailed twice. They shipped another case out on a friday and I just recieved the following Thursday. You would think that they would have had it send overnight or something. The case that I have recieved has a broken hinge and will also have to be sent back. It is the 29th of january and I still do not have a working case. I ordered this on the 11th of January. This is the last time I ever order from them.

Buyer beware! I'm a first time buyer and my first purchase was disappointing. First, the positives -- website was easy to navigate and shipping was fast and tracking was informative.....
But what good is the fast shipping if the product was damaged?!@#, which may be due to the shoddy packing (giving a benefit of the doubt) or it may have left the warehouse damaged in which case it is unacceptable.
The item purchased was a motherboard... when I opened the package, the northbridge heatsink was completely loose and the DIMM module clips were broken (all four!#$$@) This may be attributable to the atrocious packing (MB box inside another shipping box with a paltry number of foam peanuts) or mishandling by FedEx or both. Or it may have left Excaliber damaged w/o inspection. Nevertheless, I asked for a RMA and we'll see how this pans out.
I hope this review can be helpful to others.

I have a POBOX for billing and a street address for delivery. The delivery address is on file with my CC Co. eXcaliberPC.com halted my order for 2 days, (when I was expecting delivery on a set day going by all the other online order I have done with many other places.) And finally said that the delivery address was NOT on file with my CC co. (I dont think they even cheched) But just the day before I had received a package from a CO that will not ship unless the delivery address is on file. Anyhow after a "verification" email that did not verify anything, I asked for the order be upgraded to next day delivery, they said they would not. So I canceled my order. Out of all the place I order from online so far this have been the worse yet.
Very low communication skills, and compleatly unable to understand the idea of POBOX billing and STREET adress delivery. This review was modified by its author, qalizar, on
