On 2/18/10 placed order for boots and was told order would ship in 2 days. Waited for a week no tracking info, no out of stock notice. On 2/25/10 emailed and left phone message requesting order status. On 2/26/10 received text message that boots were out of stock and would be shipped direct from manufacture and to expect order in 7 days. On 3/09/10 spoke with customer rep on phone and was told boots would be delivered in 4-7 days from BotachTactical. I told the girl that I was already told that 11 days ago. She said she would call back within an hour,which she did...actually called back in 15 minutes. Now she's telling me that the order would be placed through the manufacturer (Belleville) and that it would take 24-48 hrs to process and 3-5 days to arrive. I cancelled the order because it had been over two weeks since I ordered and could not get a straight answer or a definitive shipping/arrival estimate.

A few weeks ago, I ordered a pair of duty boots through their new website, botachdefense.com. Within a few days, I received a shipping notification. So far, so good. So I go to their website a day or two later to see if they had added the UPS tracking number - after all, the link on their homepage says "Track order". The order page simply said that my order had shipped or "had reached the final stages of processing". Well, which is it?
So I emailed customer service twice, and received no response. After my third email, they emailed me back and told me that the boots were being shipped from the manufacturer and they had just sent the order over. In other words, they are using a dropshipper (and it's not the manufacturer, Rocky, so that was an outright lie).
A few more weeks go by, and despite my repeated emails asking for a UPS tracking number from their dropshipper, most of my emails go unanswered. The one email that "Dan" responded to was simply to tell me to wait another week and then he could help me with finding my order.
I wait a few more days, send two more emails and get ignored. I finally filed a complaint with the BBB and sent Botach an email threatening to file a complaint with the FTC. Suddenly, Dan from Botach is readily available to help me with my issues and claims that there was a delay in processing my order which he amazingly just discovered this morning. So, in other words, they took my money with no intention of sending my merchandise, and sent me fake shipping confirmations to try and cover it up.
I've asked that they simply refund my money so I can buy from a reputable company. They have agreed to refund my money but it remains to be seen if they will actually issue the refund.
Botach Tactical and Botach Defense are thieves and should be prosecuted. I'd file the charges myself if my DA would extradite them from CA.

Ordered a pair of gloves two weeks ago. I got an email in reply right away with a tracking number. After a week I checked and still could not get any indication that anything was shipped out. Sent an email and still have not heard back after a week. Tried calling today, no answer. I left a message, although after reading the other comments, I doubt I will hear back from them. Tried the live chat, nobody was there either. These people are not on the ball. Read those positive reviews, they are obviously written by employees or friends.

I sure wish I would have read this review before I ordered from this store. After trying to contact them by phone and email 4 times so far, I have received nothing from them. No email replies, no call backs, no ordered items and no returned money. Shame on them for holding up shipments of items that our troops need in a combat situation. Disgusting. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

I am still waiting on an order placed on Jan. 18. I got an email saying that the item was shipped on January 19, but it has not left the store. Over 10 calls, and 3 emails, and no response. What a horrible company, and horrible customer service. I'm going to call the BBB in their area and file a formal complaint, and get my credit card company to do a chargeback.
Freakin jerks.

It was a nightmare. Ordered a Helmet with them on 7th Oct 09. Salesperson Diego have no idea what he is selling. Ended up sending me the wrong item after checking with him THREE TIMES to confirm and to make sure they have the said item for sale. I AM IN SINGAPORE, MIND YOU. Ended up having to send back the item despite my busy schedule. It is 8 days til February and I still haven't got my refund back. May all the other customers have better luck. I ordered a pair of boots on October 10, 2009, I never received anything from their so called customer service telling me that the boots were on "back order". After waiting patiently for a month a customer service rep told me that they would be in in two weeks. After waiting another two weeks still no reply and nothing telling me that they have been shipped. I sent another email and have yet to receive a response 3 months later. This company is terrible and their customer service is even worse, do not buy from them.
I made the mistake of making another order with these people on Jan 4th, 2010, I ordered a couple of bore snakes, they of course promptly charged my credit card. It took them 8 days to send me a UPS tracking number which by the way its now Jan. 18th almost a week later and the tracking number still says "billing information received". DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, spend the extra dollars on a company that actually cares about its customers. An update to this current order, the tracking number they gave me has completely disappeared because they deleted it. It is now Jan 21st, 17 days later still nothing received.
I will be sure to spread the word to my military and law enforcement buddies about your poor customer service and shady business practices. This review was modified by its author, cobra4v320, on

On 1/1/10 I purchased 2 items as follows; KZQDF - Standard Model QD, and KZ TAC 2-Point Tactical Sling padded. Received notification that those items were shipped UPS, issued a tracking # and delivery date of 1/7/10. Items did not come on 1/7/10. I left an Email and a voice mail on 1/8/10 inquiring about my order status neither of which were returned. I left another Email & voice mail on 1/11/10. I was able to speak to a customer service rep later that day (1/11/10) who told me that the order was never shipped and she did not now why I was issued a UPS tracking #. She told me that there was an issue with the padded sling and that she would have a purchaser get back with me before the close of business (4:00 PM) that day. I waited for the call till 3:50 and then called back. A customer service rep put me on hold for 10 minutes and then I was disconnected. I tried calling back but only got a recording. The following day I sent another Email 1/12/10 expressing my desire to get this situation rectified. Again I tried several times throughout the day to talk to someone a Botach, but was unable to get through. Today Dan from Botach contacted me and fianlly helped me resolve the issue. I guess if Botach would impliment something on their website to indicate whether or not an item is in stock at time of purchase would certainly make thier operation run much smoother. If they don't want to do that then at least take the time to notify the customer via Email. There are difinate improvements that could be made in the Botach customer service department. I am confident that your business could be much more successful if your customers were treated with the respect that

I Would not deal with this company again. I Ordered a Knife for a Christmas gift on Dec 17th. I Received the Knife on Jan 12th. I Called on Dec 23rd to check the order status since I didn't hear from them yet, they didn't send an email letting me know the knife was back ordered. They said it would ship on Dec 28th. The knife came in the original box but it was crushed becuase it was shipped in a bubble mailing bag. Product is new but service with this company was horrible. I asked on the 23rd if they could bump my shipping to 3 day UPS, was told "No, sorry"
Good price doesn't always come with good service I guess.

I placed an order on Dec 6th figuring I could get it by Christmas for Presents. I finally received an email that it was shipped on Dec 17th (still might make it). Well, the UPS tracking number showed UPS receiving a notice of shipment, but it never showed any package tracking data. I repeatedly sent emails and called a couple of times with no response. On Jan 4th, I saw the contact by text mail option. I sent one with my order number. The next day all I got was a text back that said "Shipped". I don't know if that means they just shipped it or what. I have ordered from them a couple of times before and had no trouble. Their prices are pretty good and with a 10% off "Stimulus" deal, you can't beat it. I hope I get my stuff soon or a refund at least. My last option is the chargeback on my credit card. I made a purchase from Botach and the order was sent and arrived on 10-13-09. In the invoice it showed that I was shipped and received an item that I never received. I immediately called, having great difficulty getting a hold of customer service. I left messages that were never returned. I eventually ,after about a week spoke to someone who said they would research the order and get back to me, which they never did. I had to call again just to be told the item was backordered and that the item would be in on "Friday" and promptly shipped. After waiting and waiting, it never arrived. I again called at the end of November and was first told the item was not in, and again was told it would be in on "Friday". This person then put me on hold and came back, saying she just spoke to her supervisor and he said the item was in and they would be shipped. It is now Dec. 16th and nothing. I will never do business with Botach and I have told everyone with my Police Department about this poor service not to mention the many forms I subscribe to. We used to send out emails to the entire police department with Botach specials, those were replaced with an email detailing this poor service. My Fraternal Order of Police lodge purchased 180 Knives last year as gifts to members, this was a substantial order this year Botach lost a $2000.00 order because I refuse to do anymore business with them.

After reading several other reviews I was at first hesitant to order from this company. But I decided to give them a chance, as I have seen that many reputable companies receive bad reviews from people who just are not satisfied, no matter what the company does. I must admit that I was quite pleased with Botach Tactical. I sent in my order, expecting at least 2 weeks for them to ship my product, due to their low low prices. My order shipped out the following day, and arrived only 3 days after I ordered it. My order was complete and well packaged, to protect the items I had ordered. I don't know about their customer service, as I had no reason to call them, but I was extremely happy with their product selection, prices, constant updates on my order, and quick shipping. They have proved themselves to me, and will be the first place I go next time I need something.

Well I was really hesitant about buying form these guys with all the reviews. But than I see how others are reviewing reputable companies like Sportsmans Guide and Cheaperthandirt. So I figured well it's probobly just dumb people writing these reviews like the majority of those giving the other two companies a bad name.
I gave them a shot because their prices were VERY good. I spent 25$ on a 60$ product and got 15% discount for using "stimulus" as a promo code.
I ordered after buiness hours got an immidiate confirmation. I logged on next morning and the item had already shipped. Exellent speed in shipping to say the least. I have a tracking number and the item will arrive before weeks end(friday) and I ordered it with regular ground shipping on tuesday after store close!
All I can say is as long as the product arrives decently packed as described I'll keep there rating high. Otherwise I'll edit this review accordingly. With the current excellent service I've recieved I would not hesitate to buy from them again!

Ordered a Hard to find Hi-Cap Mag for a S&W M&P 40. Not only was it wonderful to find one, but the price was unreal. The stores in Las Vegas don't have any in stock, and the Local Gunshows wanted $40 for used and abused ones. Botach had it for under $20. Yes !! Half Price. Granted Shipping costs bring it back up a bit, but even with shipping included, it was less than the base price of any other place I could find on line. I ordered my item around 9pm on a Thursday. It shipped on Friday, and I had it before Noon on Monday. Being in a completely different state, I was very pleased.
This was my first ever order from Botach, but I can guarantee it will not be my last.
