These guys have terrible customer service. I placed an order and they immediately charged my credit card without shipping the order.
The item is on backorder and won't be shipped for two weeks. And, they never informed me it was backordered. I called and talked to these geniuses - they offered me 5% off - WOW.
From reading some of the other reviews, it looks like they do this all the time.
There's plenty of other sources for these type of accessories on the net. I'll be buying from someone else who truly cares about their customers.
This company's customer service was awful. They didn't answer my calls or messages that I would leave. I waited up to 20 minutes online for their "live help" option. I was given a number of someone to call by someone from the "live help" I called and left a message never heard back called again never heard back. Called the company back no answer live help told me my item was on back order so I kept waiting. Here I am almost 5 weeks later finally got my item. I would never recommend this company to anyone.
Worst online purchasing experience I have ever had.
*Multiple items shipped wrong, I am still dealing with an item that was shipped incorrectly 2 months later. Thankfully some have been resolved.
*ZERO communication, dont expect them to call or email you ever, even when they say they will. (One day after being told by the Botach rep that I would receive a call back in regards to my problem item I decided to call their bluff and say "I know you are not going to call me back. You never call anyone back". She playfully laughed at me and told me I would ge a phone call the next day. I called them a week later because I never heard from them as usual.)
*The word backordered must be taught in some sort of client problem deflection class.
*The decent prices are not wort the hassle and headache. Spend the extra money and support a decent company instead of keeping this one afloat.
I struggled in deciding to order from Botach. Their KZ line of foregrips, mounts, etc. are very nice and I really wanted to try the KZ Stubby with rail. I read all of the bad press on Resellerratings and other places and it seemed like folks either got their items, or got in backorder hell. For the $30 that the item was going to cost, I decided to give it a try.
I logged into Botach's live support and was quickly in live chat with a CSR. I asked if the specific item I was looking for was in stock by model name and the web page link. The CSR went to check on the item and came back shortly with an answer of 'yes'. Dan or Dave (sorry, I can't remember at the moment) was courteous and helpful in assisting me.
Placed my order on the 28th and it showed up on my doorstep today (29th)! I usually get that with shipments from Newegg's CA wharehouse, but this is a first for another vendor. Looks like it was drop-shipped out of Los Angeles. Either way, my purchasing process was flawless for this order. Given that, I'm going to order a few more items using the same MO. Really like the KZ Stubby Grip with rail. Way better quality than the other vertical grip I own, by a long shot, and half the price of the Mako unit (that is probably comes from the exact same OEM).
Anyway, I felt compelled to post this review given the reviews I seen on RR/Google/Yahoo. Mine was perfect. We'll see what happens on the next order.
11/3/09 Update - Placed a second order for two more KZ Tactical products on 11/2. Arrived at my house today (11/3/09). Based on this and my first experience (see above) I'm going to say if its in stock, it must get shipped ASAP. Since KZ Tactical appears to be their in-house brand, I'll go out on a limb and say you'll probably have good luck with getting those quickly. Again, I checked with 'live support' (DAN!) before ordering to validate that the items I was looking at were in stock. Once confirmed I placed my order.
11/5 Update - Based on the last two orders I ordered the KZ M73 Picatinny Forend. Same deal. Used live support, verified in stock, ordered. Item arrived at my doorstep the next day (again, looks like its dropshipped out of Los Angeles).
Can't speak to any of the other stuff they carry, but buying the KZ line looks good so far. I'll be shopping for more KZ items in the future from Botach and will update if I have any issues with shipping.

The moment I placed my order, they charged the credit card and issued a tracking # - which later proved to be bogus, since the ordered item was on backorder (which I found out only a week later when I FINALLY gotten through their ridiculous telephone customer support). When asked to cancel the order and refund me, the rep assured me it'll be done - 2 days later, the order was still on and no refund. Took another phone call to cancel it and receive a confirmation. Now I'm waiting on my refund and it better happen quick, I don't feel like calling 'em again.
Other thoughts - I used to order from them a few years back, then it gone extremely bad. My guess is, when the item in question is in stock they ship it rather quickly, but I don't buy this BS with charging buyer's CC and failing to inform him that the item is backordered. Best advise - shop elsewhere.

TERRIBLE... I used to order from them all the time a few years ago, but they went downhill quickly and empty promises and no shipment's sent me elsewhere... I tried again on Oct 1, teased by the low prices. What a mistake. After a '4-7 day backorder' it still hasnt shipped 4 weeks later. They wasted no time in charging my credit card though. Numerous run-around emails from the rep there, im still waiting for a refund. Go elsewhere, the 'savings' arent worth the hassle, trust me on this. I assume they have minimal in-stock items, then order from the manufacturer after they get your money, all the b.s. in their emails is just stall tactics until they get their order in. If you dont mind waiting, good luck.
Ordered on the 8th of October, money was immediately removed from my account but I did not receive any communication from seller. After a week or so I used their text message order confirmation, and after sending three messages received a reply that my item was on back-order. Finally received the item on October 26th. Good prices bad communication.
slow to ship due to backorder, but it did arrive a month later. excellent price, and they did call after my initial order to advise me that it was on backorder, but i wish i hadn't taken them a week to realize that.
wasnt too impressed with the service... the comformation email i recieved said i could look up my order status on your website or by clicking a link and it was blank..... i wrote customer service and got a reply that it on back order or something.... i could have ordered it from someone else and got it allready but now im still waiting with no idea when ill get it.
I placed the order and received a quick confirmation and what I thought was quick shipping. When the item did not show up on the date originaly stated on the shipping manifest, I e-mailed the customer service dept. THey did not answer two e-mails sent to them. I then was finally able to contact customer service by phone. They stated one of my items was on back order, and they must have forgot to inform me, and could not tell me when I could expect delivery. They did not call me back even after providing my phone number when they asked to call me back. I called again two days later and they stated my items would be in on 10-15-09, and shipped immediately with the same tracking number. Today is 10-20-09 and UPS still lists the item as not picked up yet. Everyone I talk to seems like it is a bother to have to talk to a customer, and I am still out the money with no product delivered.
pmags were shipped 2 weeks after they were ordered , I was amazing when I tried to cancel the order that they have some available that day and ready to ship after being told to just wait for it some more.
Contacted customer support for a return still waiting for a RMA number after 7 days not a word not an email.
I know that they offer great prices but for the hustle and pain in dealing with Botach , I would not recomend buying from them.
I am very dissappointed and dissatisfied. Got email confirmation showing all items shipping on the 9/29. Then got another email on 10/01 saying all shipped except EOTech with note saying ship day within 4 to 7 days. Well we are well beyond that now on the 17th.. I used the LIVE HELP last week and was told it was "drop shipped". What does that mean. At the time, i thought the person had it shipped at that moment. But I have not gotten the EOTech or an email telling me its status. I have been billed for the whole order, including the missing $425 rifle sight that has not been delivered. Reading reviews here makes me concerned that this is more common than not. Still working to resovle matter.

I placed my order with Botach on 9-27-09.
The shipping I chose was 3-day select.
There was no shipping info sent to me and after two days I placed a call to customer support and was greeted by a message saying leave my name, phone # and order number and a representative would return my call shortly.
No one from Botach called back. I tried calling again hours later, leaving my info again and still nobody from Botach called back.
(9-29-09) I then sent an email to customer support asking for confirmation and shipping info and they sent back a short email the same day saying:
“I will check on the status of the order and will have an update for you shortly.”
10-6-09 A full six days after later I was sent an email informing me my item had been shipped out that day.
It took them 10 days to place a single item in a yellow envelope and ship it. Then when the product arrived it was damaged beyond use because Botach made no effort to protect it during shipping. It was pointless to order and pay extra for 3-day shipping! I'm taking time out to leave this feedback/rating to perhaps spare someone else this kind of poor service. Think long and hard before placing an order with this company.
Was very pleased with pricing, selection, and expeditious processing. Will definitely shop here again! I am recommending this site to all of my colleagues.
