I have placed dozens of orders with target.com over the past few years and I have been very pleased. Their online selection is great, and I often get free shipping along with 10% off discounts.

I think the order tracking is very clear with shipping date estimates and arrival estimates which are updated if they change.

I am a very satisfied target.com customer.

I was looking for a place to order Destination Monaco: Amber Lounge, a CD I wanted. The CD cannot be found easily in stores, I store located, but there wasn't any location that I can go to pick it up. But, ordering from Target.com was a very good choice to get it from. This was my first time ordering from Target, and they quickly shipped out my order on Sat, June 30th. I placed my order on Friday, the 29th of June. I got it on Monday, July 2nd. Despite a stupid delivery man from USPS almost walking away with my CD, almost going to put it at the wrong house, I got my CD. When I want to order anything else from Target, I will do so, because it had fast shipping, the service was real good. I will order from Target again when I find something else from there.

During the past 4 months I have ordered 4 times from Target.com. It has been hard to find places that will ship to APO and have items arrive in a timely manner. Everything from Target has always arrived in 7-9 days. All items have been correct. Packaging is always perfect. Tracking from their website is good enough, you can at least know when your package was shipped. Target has some great deals too as far as browsing the clearance items and shipping prices. (sometimes free shipping on select items) The only downfall is they don't ship all items APO.

This was my first time ordering at Target.com, and I would question whether I do again. Just too many other better sites with similar pricing. After completing the order, there was no printable receipt, except for the email message. When I tried to find it within my account, it was a pain to navigate and find anything. It shipped a little over a day after ordering, but it won't actually be delivered for TWO WEEKS! Fortunately, I don't need this particular item quickly. To access the tracking info takes many unnecessary steps too.

I was tracking the package's progress through Target and UPS website when I saw that it was on arrival to the final destination, so I stayed home all day waiting for it to arrive. It never arrived. I did see and talk to the USPS mailman and UPS guy. Neither had any packages for me and so I waited another day.

I checked the sites the next day and I noticed that it said that they tried to bring it here and that a notice was left and no one was here to accept it. I didn't receive any notice and I was here all day waiting for it to arrive.

I contacted UPS and was told the postal service had the package and that since it required a signature that they might not have left a notice because of that. Then I contacted the postal service and they said they have no package in their system for me. I contacted several postal offices near here in the hopes that they might have it. I even talked to several of their drivers, they didn't have any packages for me. I then contacted UPS again and was told that the package was three hours away at a UPS center and that I would need to pick it up there, three hours away. And that since it was basic service that they could only send it once. I payed for whatever shipping I could get, standard I believe that cost about fifteen dollars. Where elsewhere I could have received the same phones for five dollars with two to three day shipping.

I called target and talked to Tom and he stated that if I didn't get a call back from UPS to let me know where the package was, to call him back and that he would find out what was going on.

Then I was contacted an hour later by UPS, a lady named Bonnie stating that they didn't have the package and that the postal service had it. She was to call me back an hour later to let me know for sure which she did not. So I called target again and spoke with Diane and was told that the postal service had the package and that I would get it by two more days and if I didn't, to call back and that you all would refund my account and send me the phones for free.

This didn't sound right so I called back yet again and talked to a man named Ron and he told me that the package was most likely on its way back to Target and that all they could do was resend the package which would take another two weeks with no guarantee that all of this wouldn't happen again.

I am very disappointed in the result of this, as I could have got these phones elsewhere for cheaper and a lot sooner. I wish now that I had looked at ResellerRatings before doing any business with them online. I figured since I did so much shopping in Target stores that I would be free from having any problems and that their online presence would hold up the same high standards that is held by their retail outlets.

Sadly that does not seem to be the case and I will now have to wait until two more days to see if the package actually arrives like the first target person said, or else I might receive it and have another order somewhere else go through and end up with two phones I do not need.

Like I said, I am very disappointed by all of this and I do think it could have been handled a lot better. I posted this online not to be petty or anything, but so that others may not have the same thing happen to them and that they might be better suited to fixing this before all of this happens again if they choose to do business with them online. Also maybe Target be better motivated to resolve any of these issues in the future without sacrificing a loyal customer in the process. The way this was handled is enough to cause me to not only never shop at their online site but their retail outlets as well.

Absolutely the worst and most confusing site on the web when it comes to ordering and using a gift card!! The E-Receipt from them "NEVER" reflects an accurate net charge to your credit card. You have to call your credit card company for this information, after the fact..Target, clean up your act online or get off Online once-and-for-all!!

I have always had good luck with Target orders. If you are not happy with the product, it is very easy to return the items to a brick and mortar store.

I've ordered multiple times in the past from Target and have never had an issue. I guess I've been lucky though in that the items I have ordered have not been on backorder and have been correct and in good condition.

This order will be interesting as I am ordering 11 different items and they are coming in 4 shipments. One item has already shipped via USPS and 3 other items have shipped together via UPS (well, UPS has been notified that the package is ready for pickup).

We'll hafta to see how well Target takes care of this order. One thing I do like with Target is that they only charge you as the items ship and not for the whole order up front (the way it should be).

As of 02/24, I have received 2 of the 4 packages and the items have worked and been what I ordered. My only two comments so far is that I did receive the "your order is taking longer to ship than expected" message for one package, but it "shipped" the next day. The second comment is that I noticed that UPS takes their sweet time to pick up a package. The package in question was ready and the carrier was notified to pick it up on 02/21, but UPS waited 2-1/2 days to pick it up. Obviously, the latter is not Target's fault.

All packages arrived in good condition with the correct contents. Target even took off the shipping charge for me due to the delay with one of the packages.

Target.com has the items we want for a reasonable price but somehow they always manage to screw up our order. Sometimes it takes 2 weeks or longer than promised to deliver. Then they deliver 2 of the same items for which we were charged as well until the items were returned. This time they delivered the wrong item and delivered an extra item as well. It's a hassle to get it returned.

One of the worst online shopping experiences ever, and it comes from one of my favorite B&M stores target. Its crazy to have an online experience this bad from a store that is this large and usually very reputable. i made a purchase for my sisters bday on August, 24th from target.com. This was a bday gift and I was told from the order summary that it would be delivered in a little over a week . Long story short after numerous calls, no updated info on my shipment date (or even whether they had the product in at all), emails, complaints, promises, worthless discount coupons, I waited until about Sept 25th to cancel my order. Not only did i not get the gift from target, i didn't have enough time to send my sister another one. Ordering from target was a lesson in futility...a complete waste of time and energy...just horrible.

P.S. What prompted me to write this review so late was that i just ordered some earphones from target (my second mistake) w/ some of the worthless coupons they sent me and i already see the same frustrating situation happening again. Plain Horrible

Very poor experience. My order was placed on the 11th of December. The item was sold out but rather than cancel the order, they send a similar item instead. Unfortunately, this like-item is $40 cheaper than the item I paid for.

They refused the refund in-store after the website instructed me to go to one for the exchange. The store-manager fumbled with weak excuses such as: if you return in store you would not get a refund based on your purchase price but our in-store price of the lesser item that was shipped to you, online orders have different pricing that we cannot match (despite the item was available for in-store pickup at the sale price online).

To exchange the wrong item for the one I paid for, I was instructed by the store manager to return it using the online return process. I printed the return shipping label from the website and sent it back to Target, which claimed to absorb the return shipping.

On January 16th, I receive a notice that the item was partially refunded due to the shipment being a multi-item box and only some components were sent back (untrue, it was only one item in the box, unopened from it's original packaging, sent back in the same shipping box). Furthermore, Target charged my credit card for the return shipping costs as they claim it was due to a return that was not in their error (again, false as they shipped the wrong item in the first place).

I will never shop at this decrepit and incompetent company ever again. My feelings had been such before this incident, but over the holidays I decided to give them another chance since the remodeling of their brand image. I find, despite their improved marketing image, there is no improvement on the one thing that matters the most to a customer: service. Caveat Emptor!

i ordered lamps that were to ship in 1-2 days and arrive in 3-5 business days. I ordered the lamps on 12-12-2006 and they said they shipped on 12-14-2006-it's 1-4-2007 and still no lamps! I called and spoke to very pleasant and apologetic representatives who could not tell me where my lamps were. However, they eagerly offered to refund the shipping charges, give me a discount on my purchase and even suggested that i cancel my order and reorder them again. Thanks but NO THANKS.

ERROR! ERROR! Get used to that if you are on target.com. SSL / Script errors constantly. They know little about the web and apparently less about running a business.

This order consisted of 4 diff-colored, long sleeve t-shirts. Each was a different style. I received the first 2 shirts 12/9. They were not long sleeve, and they were not the styles I ordered. They were the right color and size.

On 12/11 I received the other 2 t-shirts. One of them was the wrong style and not long sleeve. Out of 4 items, only 1 was correct! Luckily I was able to return these items to a nearby Target store (read on for why I think I'm lucky!).

This is NOT NEW BEHAVIOR for Target.com. Last year, I ordered an uplight that said online it would take a bulb with a max of 100 watts. When I got it, it would only take a max of 15 watts. Uh, big difference!

I had to call Target for a return number, everything was agreed I'd get a FULL refund including shipping because it wasn't what I ordered. But by the time they receive it a few days later, they've decided I was wrong, and in addition to no shipping refund (which was outrageously high), they gave me an $8 refund on a $30+ item! I spent weeks straightening out their stupidity.

And it looks like nothing has changed. Target should be ashamed. Other retailers are doing a great job online. Target is pitiful.
