TARGET ONLINE: THE TARGET ONLINE SERVICE IS POISON! Last year I ordered 2 watch bands and was charged $11.00 to ship each one! Same box!! $22.00. The bands fell apart within 2 months. In Dec. of last year, I ordered two Logitech computer mouses(?? mice??!). When the box arrived, there was only one mouse in it. However, I was charged $16.00 for what should have been two mice. That's $8.00 for each mouse. When I notified them twice they finally sent me a refund for one mouse BUT, no refund for shipping. I wrote twice to them again pointing out that they owed me $8.00. No reply. Called the web number. Was given to the wrong department for returns twice and was hung up on. Finally they say a refund is coming. You see the deal here? They purposely mess up refunds with the thought that: 1. you will not pursue it and/or 2. the longer it takes to get the refund, of course, they have your money. STAY AWAY.

Hi, I purchased a Vizio 28 inch TV and wanted to report a good experience. Target.com was great in that I could check inventory, and drive to the right store. Love this feature. Matt at the Target store was very helpful, and even waited for me to go through checkout and help me load the TV in my car even though I am a capable 6'3" man. Hats off to Target for doing what they are supposed to. Have a good price, have a web site that works, and have good people to sell.

It was two gift cards I tried to order from Target's website. Estimate delivery is one and half month. Called customer service, can't understand what they're saying. Requested to speak to manager but put on hold for half hour and nobody available. Totally unsatisfied.

I ordered a Panasonic MW with Holiday Delivery Guarantee on 21st Dec, 2009, which was the last day of Guarnateed Holiday Delivery.
When the item did not arrive on 24th Dec as expected, I was redirected to UPS by Target Customer Service.
UPS openly told me that thier cutoff for Holiday Delivery was Dec 18th, 2009.
When I went back to Target Customer Service, all they advised me to do was to cancel the order and take the refund.
I think they just refused to acknowledge that they told me a plain lie when they promised me Holiday Guarantee.
I did cancel the order, but I think my holiday present was spoiled and I was a bit disappointed.
Target, from what I hear, is a reputed vendor, but I must say, my experience with then was not even worth one star.
And I do have everything including Holiday Guarantee promised as per order tracking on thier website.

Ordered Mindflex from site November 9th. Site showed it in stock. Got message one week later that it was out of stock and would be in mid December. On December 10th they wrote to say that it would be in mid January and on the 18th they wrote to cancel. One week before Christmas! Their constant lead-on prevented me from getting my 8yo son the big thing he wanted this year. The care free customer support attitude they have given me has been insult on top of injury as far as I am concerned. Report filed with BBB.

Target advertised a weber bbq for $69.00, if purchased on line, in sept/oct issue of Brides magazine. The web price was $90 more, and when I called Target, they would not honor the advertised price.

I am 61 yrs. old. I purchased a lawn chair and two matching glass top tables and not one store employee offered to help me load the items into a shopping cart or get the items through the electronic theft prevention bars at the store's exit. I had to lift the items over my head twice to get them in the cart then out of the store. At least two employees saw me struggling with these items, but never offered to help. This is extremely poor customer service and should be addressed immediately. By the way, I badly bruised my right arm struggling with the large, heavy chair.

I purchased a set of Classicor Kinetic cookware (pots and pans). I was very disappointed with them. I don't like how they conduct heat and water get's trapped in the glass lids under the metal lid handles and they are extremely difficult to clean. I also purchased a set of cooking knives and they also are no good (they don't cut well). I don't trust the items that Target.com sells and I would discourage anyone from purchasing kitchen products that you are unfamiliar with. Are they the same company as the Target store or do they just use the same name?

Target always has good deals, i have been shopping with them for months, very happy with the prices, the quality of goods is not so hot, but overall it is a great store. I remember growing up as a child where my parents too me to shop there. I guess i kind of learned to love it!

Bought an item... they said it would take a month to ship.. i cancelled it and bought something else.
website says it shiped may 20. and to expect it by july 10. NO SENSE RIGHT. they even gave me an invalid tracking number.
phone support said "oh well, you'll get it when you get it.
email support sent me some form response saying " sorry about your order- better luck next time"
customer relations at headquarters said to call back the original number that she cant help me"
this is theft in my opinion..

Previous ordering through Target.com had gone smoothly, so had never needed to contact customer service.
Unfortunately, this time, I contacted customer service and found them completely incapable of dealing with any questions outside of their canned responses. Not sure if the first two emails were responded to by someone within the U.S. Finally called to try and get someone who might possibly try and address the question. They could not.
It was only a small 1.5% difference in the amount charged versus what should have been charged. So I'm not out a whole lot of money, but I am more concerned about the principle of it.
I will avoid Target.com in the future until they can develop their website to handle the technical difference in taxing various residents.
Now I will wait and see if my order shows up on time, or god forbid it's damaged.
Good customer service helps to build a strong reputation and customer base. Having a website bearing the Target brand name, but being run by someone else is going to tarnish the Target brand name. (As it now has done for me.)
Congrats to Target's competitors, as you have another person looking to shop with you first. This review was modified by its author, kduit65, on

I ordered a breadmachine last year (08) and, according to their ad, the item would be delivered by Christmas 08. However, they delayed it to Jan. In Jan, I got an email for Target in which they said the item will be delivered by Feb 28 no matter I approve it or not. Now (Mar 3) they cancelled the order.
I called Target several time and spent a lot of phone minutes on it. I have to order something from Target since I got the money as a giftcard.
It is very difficult to deal with Target.
