I ordered the book on Monday, and received an invoice. I wrote them on Tuesday to get an idea of delivery date, no reply. No phone number in on the site, I continued emailing and faxing with no success. I started researching and it became apparent that they sell books that they do not have in stock. Since I needed this for a class, I found another copy elsewhere. I have sent them a cancelation request everyday for 2 days both by email and fax, never a reply. The more I have read about them the worst it gets. I believe that they also own/manage Ecampus. Ecampus is the same address and yet they say that they are out of stock for the book? I would not recommend either company.

Unfortunately, I didn't look at the reviews before making my purchase. I selected 2 day shipping and since there was no indication of a delay on the web site when they would process the order and ship my product, I assumed it would take no more than 2 days + the 2 days shipping which would give me what I purchased at the end of week, but I just now got an email saying that it will take 2 weeks. After the other reviews, I might consider myself lucky if I get it that fast. I'm considering cancelling my order and paying a little more elsewhere so I can get my purchase in a TIMELY manner.

I now know that Biggerbooks and Ecampus are the same company (same address, same customer service, same billing).  
FYI, Since Biggerbooks refuses to publish their phone number, call the Ecampus customer service number: (888-388-9909).  
I ordered 2 books, then tried to cancel the next day, via email. I cancelled because I got "upsold" to more expensive shipping than I asked for (their web interface is a real pain to navigate). They sent a cancellation email, but then I continued to get autogenerated emails saying my order would ship soon. Since I didn't have their number, I sent emails, which were ignored, and it did get shipped.  
On a positive note, the person on the phone (Ecampus) was extremely friendly, and said to refuse shipment at the post office and return the package to sender, with a refund to follow in 5 weeks.  
It has been 3 weeks so far; too early to tell if I'll get a refund.  
 
Nice or not, it was a big inconvenience.

This seller should be banned. I really wish I had found this website of reviews before I ordered fom them. I ordered a NEW book from them and received , after a pretty long shipping time, a clearly used book with a DVD in a broken case. After several attempts to contact them I finally got a note that they would take a return. This is a college text book - if I could wait for anotuer book to arrive this wouldn't be a problem. They are slow to ship and absolutely LIE about the quality/condition of their items.

Here's my story... I ordered a Messiah score which the website says is a 2004 copyright, and the shipping was listed as 2.98. The book I received was c.1992; the shipping magically increased 33% after they had my payment info; and the book arrived damaged. It had black smudges like soot all over the cover. I tried to contact them via email 3 times, and like everyone else, received no response. Do business with this site? You decide...

Save yourself a headache and DO NOT purchase from this company.  
 
Biggerbooks.com is quick to charge your credit card, but slow to ship and even slower (and rude) to respond to inquiries.  
 
Added shipping onto the order, even though it qualified as "free shipping", which took 3 phone calls & 2 emails to get credited.  
 
Insult to injury? During 5 contacts, no one from biggerbooks.com could tell me that the order wouldn't even ship until October 8th, 14 days AFTER the order was placed and credit card charged.  
 
Biggerbooks.com defines poor customer service.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE Sites like this should be illegal. There is no way to make contact with this company other than by e-mail, which they do not respond to, nor do they update you on a placed order as to if it has been canceled or you may receive the books 3 months from now, nothing. Very disappointing.

Ordered book on June 15 '07 was told the book would Ship from their facility on June 25 and arrive June 28th. Got an email on the 27th saying  
 
"At this time we still expect to fill your order and shipping should occur soon. Delayed items are usually received within a few business days beyond the anticipated arrival date.We are sorry for any problems that may be caused due to this delay. You will be notified by email once your item(s) ships from our facility.Thank you,Biggerbooks.com"  
 
At least their automated service gave me a heads up and I wanted to book for the summer to study for the upcoming semester so I did not mind waiting. Well I did ALOT of that to the point that I had even forgotten I had ordered a book from them. Realized i did when I was going through my old email. Any way its August 27 - checked my order is canceled. I will look elsewhere and would recommend you do the same.

Ordered a new book on July 11, 2007 they had listed on Bookfinder.com. After I ordered the book--- on the same day--- they told me they DID NOT EVEN HAVE the book but was promised to be delivered by Aug. 7. As of today, they said they still do not have the book, nor do they know when they might get it but I should be patient. I think over 5 weeks is patient enough. They STILL have this book listed for sale today, August 16, on Bookfinder.com but still do not have it.

AWFUL!! Before ordering I made special inquiry to determine if my book was in stock, was assured by their customer service that it was in stock and available for shipping, placed my order, waited weeks, then got an auto-generated email cancelling my order because the book was not in stock! Customer service responded curtly and gave me no explanation as to their misinformation. Wrote to CEO yesterday.

Based upon my experience I rate this store UNACCEPTABLE.  
 
The book that I was ordering was not just for casual reading but to help with some health issues that I was experiencing and some lifestyle changes that I need to make.  
 
I ordered the book on 2/27/06. The following statements were sent to me by BIGGERBOOKS.com in the confirmation:  
 
Based on current availability information, we anticipate that the last item on your order will ship on Mar 7 2006. This places your estimated delivery date on Mar 9 2006.

The expected date for delivery arrived and passed with no book and word from BIGGERBOOKS. Later, I was out of town and did not have access to the internet. Finally, on 3/20/06 I logged into their website and found that the order was CANCELLED. As my credit card accounts are OK there was no logical reason for them to cancel the order because of any problem on my end of the transaction.  
 
This business does not seem to conform to acceptable standards upheld by other bookstores with whom I have conducted business.  
 
Thank you for this forum to vent some steam.

STOP RIGHT NOW and don't even consider ordering from BiggerBooks.com. Every word that you see written in these reviews is accurate. The company totally sucks in every way, shape and form. Do NOT waste your time with them. You will not get your book and you will get no response from the alleged "Customer Service Department" (which wasn't even open when I called during the posted hours). Every inquiry I sent went unanswered until I finally just cancelled the order. I sent a copy of every email to eCampus as well, and got no response from them either. It's maddening! Satisfaction guaranteed 100??? That's just someone's idea of a sick joke, probably meant to drive us nuts while the company sits back howling with laughter about what a bunch of schmucks we've all been.
